A Study on Documentization of Printed Hangul Image with Multi-size and Multi-style (다양한 크기 및 활자체를 갖는 인쇄체 한글 영상의 문서화에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 CCD카메라로 입력 받은 다중 크기 및 활자체로 구성된 한글문서의 화상 데이터를 편집기에서 수정 가능한 문자로 변환시키는 시스템을 구현하였다. 먼저 Dynamic 이 진화 처리 과정을 거친 화상을 흑백 화소의 누적분포에 따라 문자단위로 분할한 후, 다양한 크기로 분할된 문자를 표준패턴 크기로 표준화 시켰다. 한글을 자소 간 공백 위치의 특징에 따라서 6가지 유형으로 분류한 후, 퍼지 이론을 접목시킨 원형 패턴 벡터 알고리즘을 사용해서 표준벡터와 입력된 글자의 특징벡터를 비교하여 문자로 인식하게 하였다. 각 6가지 유형에서 서로 다른 자소로 결합된 문자들을 30개 선정하여 여러 가지 활자체 및 크기에 적용해 본 결과, 모두 문서화가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 액상실리콘으로 이루어진 초고압전력케이블용 프리몰드 접속재의 반도전-절연체 계면접합체를 다양한 제조조건과 조합별로 제조하여 계면접착력에 대한 영향을 검토하였다. 후가교적용 시 계면접착력이 강화되며 grade조합에 따른 특성차이가 존재하였다. 하지만 고온 장시간의 후가교 조건에서는 계면간의 화학적 결합력의 저하로 인해 오히려 접착력이 낮아지기도 하였다. 절연 RTV와의 계면접착성은 S-1재료가, 절연 LSR의 경우에는 S-3 재료가 가장 우수하였으며 도전안정성 측면에서도 S-3 재료가 상대적으로 유리하였다. 매입형 전극체를 제조하여 절연파괴거동을 연구한 결과 계면접착성과의 직접적인 상관관계는 크지 않음을 알 수 있었다.

Affinity column과 베타수용체 정제조건

  • 일반적으로 단백질의 정제를 위한 가장 효과적인 방법은 affinity chromatography법으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 베타 수용체의 순수정제를 위한 효과적인 affinity matrix를 제조하고 이의 특징을 확인함으로써 수용체 정제를 위한 기초를 수립하고자 하였다. Bisoxirane reagent인 1,4-butanediol diglycydyl ether를 Sepharose CL-4B gel과 반응시켜 탄노원자 10개 길이의 spacer arm을 부착시켰다. 여기에 sodium persulfate, dithiothreitol을 연속적으로 사용하여 -SH기를 도입시긴 추 free radical 반응을 이용하여 베타수용체 길항제인 alprenolol을 부착시킴으로써 affinity gel을 제조하였다. alprenolol치 부착반응을 위한 최적온도는 4$0^{\circ}C$로 나타났으며, semimicro Kjeldahl 질소 분석법을 적용하여 gel을 분석한 결과 ml당 0.4-0.6 $\mu$ mol의 alprenolol이 결합하였음을 확인하였다.

  • 수소제조용 SMR(steam methane reforming) 공정에 사용될 수 있는 FeCrAl 다공체의 지지체-촉매의 결합력을 향상시키기 위하여 PEO(plasma electrolytic oxidation)법을 이용하여 FeCrAl 표면에 산화물을 형성시켰다. 열처리, 저전압, 고전압, 전해질 농도 등의 공정 조건에 따른 산화막의 형성 거동 및 형성된 산화물의 상분석 등을 진행하였다. PEO 공정을 이용하여 형성된 산화막은 다른 공정에 의하여 형성된 산화막과 비교할 때 치밀한 특징을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구를 통하여 향후 SMR 공정에 사용될 수 있는 FeCrAl 다공체의 내구성 및 수명 향상에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대되었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 치과용 주조합금의 개발을 위하여 Ni-Cr 및 Ni-Cr-Ti합금을 소결체를 제조하고 기계적 특성 및 표면특성을 조사하였다. Ti원소가 첨가됨에 따라 결정조직의 결정립이 미세화하는 경향을 보였으며 조직이 다르게 나타났다. Ti 원소가 증가할수록 경도는 더욱 높게 나타났으며 Ti가 10 wt. %로 증가되었을 때 경도가 가장 높았다. 또한 압분체, 소결체, 벌크상태 순으로 경도가 증가하였다. 표면의 거칠기와 결합력에서도 Ti의 함유량이 증가함에 따라 개선되었다.

  • 동의보감(東醫寶鑑) "내경편(內景篇)"에 "사람의 형은 긴 것이 짧은 것만 못하며, 큰 것이 작은 것만 못하고, 살찐 것이 마른 것만 못하다. 사람의 색은 흰 것이 검은 것만 못하고, 옅은 것이 짙은 것만 못하며, 엷은 것이 두터운 것만 못하다. 더욱이 살찐 사람은 습이 많고, 마른 사람은 화가 많으며, 흰 사람은 폐기가 허하고, 검은 사람은 신기가 넉넉하다. 사람마다 형색이 다르면 오장육부 역시 다르기 때문에 외증이 같더라도 치료방법을 달리해야 한다."고 하였다. 이것은 "동의보감(東醫寶鑑)"의 체 병 증을 서로 결합하여 진단 치료하는 사상으로 "이체질동병이치", "이체질동증이치"의 체질진료사상을 나타낸 것이다. "동의보감(東醫寶鑑)" "탕액편(湯液篇)"에서 "약이란 병을 치료하는 것이다. 변화하는 것은 병에 있고, 병 치료를 주관하는 것은 약에 달렸으며, 약을 만들어 쓰는 것은 사람에게 달려 있다. 이 셋 중 하나라도 빠지면 안된다."고 하였다. 이것은 체 병 증과 방약이 서로 대응하는 용약사상을 보여주는 것으로 동의약의 진료체계를 건립하였는데 이 점이 바로 동의약학의 장점이자 특색이라 할 수 있다.

Studies on the Biological Behaviors of Taxol Derivatives (Taxol 유도체들의 생물학적 거동에 관한 연구)

  • This study was designed to prospect the $^{111}In$-labelled paclitaxel as tumor imaging agent. In order to provide a taxol molecule with a functional group which is able to chelate In-111, taxol-DTPA conjugate and 2'-hemisuccinyltaxol were synthesized by esterification of taxol at C-2'on C-13 carbon with DTPA anhydride and succinic anhydride, respectively. Synthesis yield of the taxol derivatives was 34% for taxol-DTPA and 80% for 2'-hemisuccinyltaxol. Cytotoxicity of the taxol derivatives were measured by MTT method toward cell lines HT29, B16, P388, and CT26. The cytotoxic activities of the taxol derivatives were maintained, although less active than taxol. Radiolabelling of the taxol derivatives were proceeded directly with $^{111}InCl_3$ or indirectly with $^{111}In$-citrate(ligand-exchange method). The ligand-exchange method was not suitable because some precipitates appeared during the reaction. On the contrary, by direct radiolabelling method, we were able to obtain taxol-DTPA-$^{111}In$ in 100% radiochemical yield. However, 2'-hemisuccinyltaxol was not labelled by both methods. Yield and radiochemical purity of the radiolabelled com-pound were determined by HPLC, paper chromatography and instant thin layer chromatography. Taxol-DTPA-$^{111}In$ was characterized to be hydrophilic by lipophilicity test, and nearly non-adhesive to HT29, B16, P388, and CT26 by cell binding affinity test. Binding affinity of the taxol-DTPA-$^{111}In$ complex to serum proteins was also examined by protein precipitation with 30% trichloroacetic acid. The results showed that 30% of the taxol-DTPA-$^{111}In$ complex binds with serum proteins.

Leaching Capacity and Rate of Alkali Ions from Hardened Cement Paste (시멘트 경화체의 알칼리이온 침출성능 및 침출속도)

  • The present study concerns the leachability of alkali ions from hardened cement paste in terms of an increase in the pH together with the rate of alkali leaching. To evaluate the influence of mix design on the leaching capacity and rate of alkali, different water-cement ratios (W/C) and binders were used to manufacture paste specimens. The cement paste was made in the form of rectangular bucket where deionised water was subsequently supplied as solvent media. Then the specimen was wrapped in polythene film to avoid contact to atmospheric conditions, which may affect the water chemistry in the bucket. The pH of media was monitored until no further change in the pH value was observed, of which value then used to calculate the leaching capacity and rate. The influence of binder on the pH of solvent is more dominant than that of water to cement ratio: OPC paste produced the highest level of alkali leaching, whilst 30% PFA and 60% GGBS pastes imposed lower level of alkali leaching. After the monitoring of the pH, the inner bucket was ground with an increment of 1.0 mm to measure the leaching influence using the suspension consisting of paste powder and deionised water. It was found that the impact zone for OPC was about 7-8 mm, whilst 30% PFA and 60% GGBS had deeper impact depth of the alkali leaching.

Insulin Resistance in Late Pregnant Rats (임신 후반기 흰쥐의 인슐린 저항성과 그 기전)

  • The influence of normal late pregnancy on insulin action and insulin secretion was studied in the Sprague-Dawley female rats. On 20th day after mating, intravenous glucose tolerance test(IVGTT) was performed in non pregnant control and pregnant rats. As results of IVGTT, glucose disappearance rate was not significantly different in both groups, but secretory response of insulin was significantly(p<0.05) increased in pregnant rat. And the ratio of insulin/glucose was significantly higher in pregnant rats, which means existence of insulin resistance. These insulin resistance was overcomed by increased secretory response of pancreatic insulin. Insulinogenic index(${\Delta}$ insulin/glucose - 5 min) was highly significantly (r=0.62, p<0.01) correlated with progesterone concentration. Glycogen level and amounts of $^{14}C$-glucose incorporated into glycogen after IVGTT were significantly(p<0.05) decreased in the liver, but were not changed significantly in soleus. Glycogen synthase activity of soleus and liver was not differ significantly in the both groups. Insulin binding at varying concentrations of insulin to crude membrane of pregnant liver was not significantly different from control. In conclusions, although these pregnant rats were normal glucose tolerance due to increased secretory response of insulin, that was correlated with progesterone concentration, pregnant rat had insulin resistance. The mechanisms of insulin resistance were not related to defect of insulin binding phase and glycogen synthase, but suggest pre-receptor and/or postreceptor phase.

Plasma G-CSF and GM-CSF Concentration and Amount of Their Receptors on the Granulocyte in Kawasaki Disease (가와사키병 환아의 혈장내 G-CSF와 GM-CSF 농도 및 과립구에서의 이들 수용체의 발현 변화)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to demonstrate the possible pathogenesis of granulopoiesis in patients of Kawasaki disease(KD) using quantitative analysis of G-CSF, GM-CSF and their CSFr. Methods : The plasma levels of G-CSF, GM-CSF, G-CSFr and GM-CSFr were studied in 14 patients in the acute phase of KD; 13 children with normal peripheral white blood cell counts were used as the normal control group. The plasma concentration of G-CSF, GM-CSF were analyzed by ELISA. The G-CSFr and GM-CSFr on the peripheral granulocytes were analyzed by a quantitative flow cytometric assay and QuantiBRITE, and the quantitative changes of receptors which did not combine with G-CSF and GM-CSF were measured. Results : The total number of leukocytes in KD was similar to normal control group, but the leukocytes increased according to the number of neutrophils. The plasma concentration of G-CSF were decreased similar to normal control group(P=0.133), but that of GM-CSF decreased more than the normal control group(P=0.227). The quantity of G-CSFr, GM-CSFr were revealed to be no less than the normal control(P=0.721, P=0.912). After incubation with excessive G-CSF, the expressed G-CSFr on the neutrophils were decreased in both groups(P=0.554). The quantities of expressions of GM-CSFr on the neutrophil after incubation with the excessive GM-CSF were always increased in both groups(P=0.255). The amount of GM-CSFr of neutrophils are in proportion to total white blood cells (r=0.788, P=0.035), but it wasn't in the case of KD(P=0.644). Conclusion : The leukocytosis in KD that mediated by increasing neutrophil was not correlated with the plasma concentrations of G-CSF and GM-CSF, and the amount of expression of G-CSFr and GM-CSFr on granulocyte. It is possible that the reduction of concentration of GM-CSF results by increasing the active GM-CSFr.
