Regularized Adaptive High-resolution Image Reconstruction Considering Inaccurate Subpixel Registration (부정확한 부화소 단위의 위치 추정 오류에 적응적인 정규화된 고해상도 영상 재구성 연구)

  • The demand for high-resolution images is gradually increasing, whereas many imaging systems yield aliased and undersampled images during image acquisition. In this paper, we propose a high-resolution image reconstruction algorithm considering inaccurate subpixel registration. A regularized Iterative reconstruction algorithm is adopted to overcome the ill-posedness problem resulting from inaccurate subpixel registration. In particular, we use multichannel image reconstruction algorithms suitable for application with multiframe environments. Since the registration error in each low-resolution has a different pattern, the regularization parameters are determined adaptively for each channel. We propose a methods for estimating the regularization parameter automatically. The preposed algorithm are robust against the registration error noise. and they do not require any prior information about the original image or the registration error process. Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithms outperform conventional approaches in terms of both objective measurements and visual evaluation.

A Performance Improvement on Navigation Applying Measurement Estimation in Urban Weak Signal Environment (도심에서의 측정치 추정을 적용한 항법성능 향상 연구)

  • In recent years, Transport Demand Management has been conducted for the efficient management of transport. In ITS applications in particular, the prerequisite is accurate and reliable positioning. However, the major problems are satellite signal outage, and multipath. This paper proposes that outage and multipath measurement can be detected and estimated using elevation angle and signal to noise ratio data association relation in stand-alone GPS. In order to verify the performance of the proposed method, it is then evaluated by the car test. the evaluation test environment has low accuracy and unreliable positioning because of signal outage or multipath such as steep hill and high buildings. In the evaluation test result, 918times abnormal signal occurred and it was confirmed that the proposed method showed more improved 9.48m(RMS) horizontal positioning error than without proposed method.

A Weak Signal Detection Algorithm in Clutter Environment for Indoor Location Estimation based on IR-UWB Radar (IR-UWB 레이더 기반의 실내 위치 추정을 위한 클러터 환경에서 미약신호 검출 알고리즘)

  • Purpose: In this paper, a distance estimation technique for indoor location estimation using IR-UWB is proposed and researched. We propose an algorithm that can increase the SNR lowered due to clutter or noise in an indoor environment. Method: In order to clutter suppression and detect weak signals, we analyze the existing studies of background remover, correlation, and singular vector decomposition techniques and propose an algorithm. Result: The proposed algorithm, the average error was 0.57m up to 11.5m, and the error were 0.49m from 6m to 11.5m. the average error rate was reduced by about 1m compared to the previous study. Conclusion: It can be used as a technique for detecting weak signals in clutter and noise environments for distance or location estimation, and can also be used as a human life detection technique to reduce damage to people in a disaster situation by using UWB radar which has highly transparent.

  • Several robust regression estimators are compared under contamination. Symmetric and asymmetric contamination schemes are used to measure the variance and MSE of regression estimators. Under asymmetric contamination depth-based regression estimator, especially projection based regression estimator(rcent) outperforms the rest and under symmetric contamination HBR performs relatively well.

유동유발진동에 의한 제어봉 Fretting Wear의 열수력학적 원인 분석

  • 최근 울진 1,2호기의 급정지 제어봉 E.C.T(Eddy Current Test) 결과 Fretting Wear가 심한 것이 관찰되었다. 이는 유동유발 진동에 의해 제어봉과 그 지지물 간의 접촉으로 인한 손상이 주요인으로 추정되고 있다. 제어봉 손상은 제어봉 교체로 인한 비용뿐만 아니라 마모금속의 방사화로 인한 냉각재의 오염을 수반한다. 따라서 본 연구는 원자로의 유동유발진동을 선별하여 파손 위치 및 형태, 유동조건, 제어봉과 안내관의 기하학적 구조 등을 분석한 결과 지배적인 손상원인을 Turbulence Excitation과 Fluidelastic Instability로 선정하였다. 특히 안내관내의 6번째 card 위치에서 발생하는 높은 마모현상이 난류도 증가에 의한 손상임을 제시하였다

  • 도시개발에 따른 인구증가와 강수의 계절적 편중 등으로 인하여 우리나라의 수자원량은 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 이러한 수자원을 효율적으로 이용하기 위해서는 유역의 가용 수자원량의 파악과 이에 따른 최적배분이 필요하다. 이러한 하천유량은 우량이나 수위와 같이 연속관측이 어렵기 때문에 관측치가 한정되어 있는 것이 일반적이며 자연하천에서 실시간으로 유량자료를 생산하는 것은 많은 인력과 장비, 경비가 필요하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유량자료의 생산에 있어서 시간과 비용의 경제성 등을 고려하고 좀 더 효율적인 방법을 찾기 위하여 낙동강 유역의 제 1지류인 금호강 유역 내에 위치한 동촌 수위관측소의 유량자료를 이용하여 상류에 위치한 금호 단포교 지점을 미계측 유역이라 가정한 후 유량추정방법에 따른 적용성 검토를 위해 강우-유출모형인 SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool)과 유역면적만을 활용하는 비유량법(Drainage-area ratio method), 유출에 영향을 주는 지형인자를 이용하는 지역회귀방법(Regional regression method)을 적용하여 그 타당성을 비교하였다. 모의된 결과, 동촌 금호 단포교 지점의 연간 상하류 유량비교에서 유량반전은 없었으며 비유량법의 유량추정에서는 높은 상관성을 보였으나 2008년과 2009년의 가뭄으로 인하여 강우-유출모형의 유량추정에서는 낮은 상관성을 보여주었다. 지역회귀방법에서는 수위관측소별 유황자료를 종속변수로 유역면적, 유역평균경사, 유로연장을 독립변수로 하는 회귀식을 산정하여 비교하였으나 본 연구에서는 사용된 자료수가 적고 수리구조물을 이용한 회귀수량 등으로 인하여 갈수량이 실측유량과는 다소 차이가 발생하였다. 미계측 유역의 유량추정시에는 자료의 축척기간과 연도별로 안정된 호우사상, 유역의 적절한 배분에 따라 결과치가 좌우되며 본 연구에서 사용된 유량추정은 관측 자료를 기초로 한 간접적인 방법들이였다. 결과적으로 금호강 유역의 동촌 지점을 이용하여 유량추정방법들을 적용해본 결과 비유량법과 강우-유출모형을 사용하는 것이 적정하였으나 관측 자료의 축적기간이 길고 상하류 간의 유량이 안정된 유역에서는 지역회귀방법의 적용으로도 안정된 유량을 산정할 것이라고 판단된다.

Localization of Jet Engine Position from HRRP-JEM Images of Aircraft Targets Using Eccentricity of Complex-Valued Signals (항공기 표적의 HRRP-JEM 영상에서 복소 신호의 이심률을 이용한 제트 엔진 위치 추정)

  • High Resolution Range Profile-Jet Engine Modulation imagery first introduced in 2005 carries out radar target recognition by localizing the position of the jet engine installed on the aircraft target. This paper presents a new approach for estimating the jet engine position in the HRRP-JEM image based on the eccentricity of a complex signal. It can effectively evaluate the contribution of the JEM component to the radar received signal in a range bin of the HRRP-JEM image. Therefore, the localization is expected to be performed more quantitatively and reliably by pinpointing the range bin corresponding to the jet engine position where the JEM contribution is maximized. The simulation results of realistic aircraft models validated the effectiveness of the proposed concept.

A Precise Relative Positioning Method Based on Time-Differenced Carrier Phase Measurements from Low-Cost GNSS Receiver (저비용 GNSS 수신기를 이용한 반송파 위상 시각간 차분 측정치 기반의 정밀 상대위치 결정 기법)

  • In this paper, a precise relative positioning with TD(time differenced) carrier phase measurements from a low-cost GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver is proposed and analysed. The proposed method is using carrier phase measurement from a single GNSS receiver that reference receiver is not required and stand alone positioning is possible. TD operation removes the troublesome integer ambiguity resolution problem, and if the time interval is short, other error, such as, ionospheric, tropospheric delay and ephemeris error are effectively eliminated. The error analysis of the proposed method shows that a precise and positioning with carrier phase is possible. The implemented system is evaluated using a real car experiments. The results show that the horizontal positioning error was less than 3m during 10 minutes experiments, which is 4 times more precise than the results of normal code based absolute positioning.

Location Information Reliability-Based Precision Locating System Using NLOS Condition Estimation (NLOS 상태 추정을 이용한 위치 정보 신뢰성 기반의 정밀 위치 측정 시스템)

  • Recently, mobile devices were increased and there was a sharp rise in demand. To exploit the location information of each device, many researcher was studying locating systems. The favorite locating or positioning systems were a GPS using satellites and a RTLS using wireless communication between devices. If some obstacle existed nearby the target device, The system have difference of performance. The obstacles near targets were caused signal disconnection and reflection because of NLOS condition. As the result, the NLOS condition degrade the locating performance. In this paper, we propose a locating system which is cooperated two systems using information reliability estimates from LOS/NLOS condition. We developed proposed system. In addition, we performed fields test and simulation tests at various environment for performance evaluation. As the result, the test showed 97% success rate to estimate NLOS condition. Furthermore, the simulation result of our locating system was increased to 89% compared with a single system.

  • An array aperture synthesis technique is proposed. The proposed method does not require the condition that the overlapped hydrophones have the identical position in space to estimate the phase correction factors. while the existing ETAM algorithm does. Therefore the proposed method increases the available data applied to extend the effective aperture length of the towed array. From the numerical experiments, the proposed method can reduce the mean square error in estimating the direction of a target signal.
