Current city that we live in exist many modern architecture have historical meaning and high value. This modern architecture is disappearing because study - definite thesis of concept, division of the time - of preservation wasn't advanced fully and we have the feeling of being victimzed for Japanese imperialism, in addition to lack of recognition for cultural treasure value. These days, a growing number of people tend to focus on preservation and uses of cultural properties including mordern architectures. Therefore, this study aims to figure out constructive uses of mordern architectures by purposing analysis and preservation methods with a selected architectures which deserve to be conserved.

The study aims to investigate problems underlying in an old local house in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do and hence improve performance and remodel the house. Based on a survey regarding current conditions of the house and several case studies on other successful renovation projects, this study suggests new renovation concepts for the old house into a guest house. The study analyzes the current state of Iksan in which the location is faced with population decline - especially among the young - and the lack of community facilities and infrastructure, and finally the unfavorable situation in the residential environment. the case study involves four successful renovated guest house projects: three renovated old single houses in Seoul and Jeonju, and a renovated old Japanese housing complex in Kunsan. The renovating concepts for the local old house is as follows: renovating for performance improvement (i.e. lighting, ventilation, heating, plumbing, insulation, structure, and water proofing), utilizing the local house to a guest house for a growing number of tourists, adding new guest rooms, installing convenient facilities in order to provide better living environments for the visitors, and improving community and street landscapes.

본 연구는 도심쇠퇴를 겪고 있는 안동원도심의 옥정동 한옥마을을 대상으로 '마을호텔 콘텐츠'를 도입하여 도시재생의 방향성을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 마을호텔 콘텐츠는 마을 전체가 호텔의 기능인 숙박 식음료 즐길거리 등을 '구성'하는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 옥정동 한옥마을의 게스트하우스를 활용하여 숙박시설로 구성하고, 주변 식당 및 카페를 연계하여 식음료 제공을 마지막 즐길거리로는 시대별 한옥건축물 답사, 게이미피케이션 기법 도입, 갤러리 사우나 등 주변 편의시설 연계 등을 제안하였다. 마을호텔 콘텐츠는 마을에서 발생한 이익이 그대로 주민들에게 돌아가는 구조를 취하고 있어 공정경제를 실현하며, 나아가 지역의 홍보 및 정체성 확립에 긍정적인 영향을 미침으로써 건강한 도시재생 및 새로운 관광콘텐츠로서 기능할 것을 기대한다.

다른 지역에서 취직을 하게 되거나 또는 학교를 다니거나 여행을 다니는 사람들에게 첫 번째 문제는 잠자리이다. 집을 구할 때 구하기 전까지는 머무를 곳이 없다는 문제가 있다. 또한 여행객들 중에 게스트하우스 같이 단체공간보다는 개인공간을 원하는 사람들도 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 도어락 원격 제어 시스템을 통해 사용하지 않는 방을 제공한다. 본 시스템은 사용자들에게 사용할 수 있는 방을 제공하고 비밀번호를 설정함으로써 원격으로 도어락을 제어 할 수 있다. 또한 NFC를 이용하여 사용자가 비밀번호를 잊어도 사용할 수 있도록 편리함을 제공하였다. 사용할 수 있는 방의 정보와 사용후 기를 클라우드 시스템에 관리 할 수 있도록 하였다.
