For the contents of investigation, drinking and smoking habit was investigated as a general characteristic of subjects. For the items of health examination, there were SBP, DBP, AST, ALT, GGT, Glucose, Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride. The main results are as follows. In comparison with the starting year of research, drinking and smoking rate of the final year was reduced respectively by 1.6% and 1.4%. And, borderline group by examination items, hypertension was reduced by 2.2% from 62.0% to 59.8% in the final year in comparison with the starting year of investigation, And, fasting blood glucose was 17.1%, hyperlipemia was 6.6%, LFT was 2.0% for the reduction. In disease group, hypertension was reduced by 0.6% from 6.7% to 6.1%. And, fast blood glucose was 1.9%, hyperlipemia was 4.2%, LFT was 1.3% for reduction. Borderline group showed more reduction in comparison with disease group in all of items. The above results showed borderline group showed more reduction of manifestation rate than disease group in all of 4 diseases. Therefore, it's expected that disease group will show reduction in the future. But, it's necessary to study on future's changes through the continuous management and tracing observation.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of blood pressures, hematological and blood biochemical properties according to the degree of obesity based on differential combinations of BMI in health checkup examinees. Study subjects were 3,731 adults of 20 years and over (2,312 males, 1,419 females), not recognized as taking medicines for or having cardiovascular diseases, who underwent health package check-up at the Korea Association of Health Promotion, Daejeon Branch from Jan. 2007 to Dec. 2009. As a results, the mean values of SBP, DBP, TG, TC, LDL-C, ALT, AST, GGT, ALP were significantly increased with higher level of BMI, but the HDL-C was significantly decreased with higher level of BMI. On correlation of BMI with various factors, the BMI was positively correlated with SBP, DBP, TG, TC, LDL-C and GGT, while the HDL-C was negatively correlated. Based on the result of ordinal logistic regression analysis, the risk ratio to the abnormal level of SBP, DBP, TG, ALT and GGT were significantly increased as BMI increased.

  • This study was conducted to assess the distribution of coronary risk factors(CRF) and evaluate the risk profile of coronary heart disease by the clustering of the CRF in health checkup examinees. The study sample consists of 3,345 adults aged 30s-60s years(1,917 males, 1,428 females), not recognized as taking medicines for or having cardiovascular diseases, who underwent health package check-up at the health examination center of a university-affliated hospital in Daejon City. The proportion of subjects with 1, 2, 3, 4 and or more risk factors were 27.6%, 26.5%, 16.9% and 9.1%, respectively, therefore, the 80.0% of total subjects had at least one more risk factor. From these findings, this study concluded that the prevalence rates of CRF were relatively high. These data provide further evidence that the early intervention for coronary health prevention and promotion in general adult population is necessary at the population level.

Methods : 1764 subjects were enrolled from Jan. 2009 to Dec. 2009 who visit Korea University Guro hospital healthcare center. The subjects answered the questionnaire of PSS(Perceived Stress Scale), PHQ-9(Patient Health Questionnaire-9) and the demographic data. We categorized them as the stress group, depressive group, medical comorbidity group and analyzed the correlation analyses and logistic regression analyses. Results : 198 of 1764 subjects(11.8%) were applied to major depression, and the depressive group showed the higher mean stress score(23.19) and mean depression score(12.95) than the normal group. The total PHQ-9 score was increased by perceiving more stress, having more medical comorbidities. The subjects with female, visiting due to recent health problems, irregular exercise, current smoking, history of angina and cerebrovascular disease showed the increased risk of major depression. Conclusions : In this study, we find the PSS, PHQ-9 were valuable for mental health screening in healthcare center. As perceiving more stress and having more medical comorbidity, risk of major depression were increased. Accordingly the individuals with medical diseases or unhealthy lifestyle would need the mental health screen.

This study shows APA case in Health Check-up Service Organization (G-Center) and the Utility of APA. G-Center had acquired Five Outcomes through APA: (1) IT Strategy, (2) IT Project Goals, (3) Transformed Business Process, (4) Functional Blueprint of Information Systems, (5) IT Project budget and its feasibility. APA consists of three analysis processes; Activity Separation, Activity Rearrangement, Activity Costing. APA is flexible in determinating the range and the time of analysis, and is able to expand the Actors(as analysis objects) based on the purpose of analysis by researcher. Eventually APA can be used to do internal IT Management effectively.
