건축용 프리캐스트 프리스트레스트 역티형 보와 직사각형 보의 휨거동 비교 (Comparison on Flexural Behaviors of Architectural Precast Prestressed Rectangular and Inverted-tee Concrete Beams)

  • Flexural behaviors of two typical architectural precast beam sections ; inverted tee and rectangular - were compared and investigated. The heights of web in inverted tee beams are generally less than half of beam depth in building structures to accomodate the nib of double-tee where the total building height limited considerably. The inverted-tee beams are designed for parking live load - 500kgf/$\m^2$ and market - 1,200kgf/$\m^2$ according to the currently used typical shape in the domestic market building site in Korea. The bottom dimension and area of rectangular beams are same to those of inverted tee beams to compare the flexural behaviors of two beams. These two beams are also reinforced for similar strength. Four flexural tests are performed on two beams. Following results are obtained from the tests; 1) The rectangular beam is simpler in production, transportation, and election, and more economic than the inverted tee beam for these two beams with same dimension and similar strength. 1) The estimations of flexural strength of two beams by Strength Design Method and Strain Compatibility Method is fully complied with the result of tests. However, Strain Compatibility Method is slightly ore accurate than Strength Design Method. 2) Overall deflections of two type beam under the service loads are less than those of the allowable limit in ACI Code provision. 3) The rectangular beam is failed in large deflection (average 12.56mm large) than those of inverted tee beams. 4) The rectangular and inverted tee beams with 6m span develop initial flexural crackings under the 88% of full service loading even though they designed to satisfy the ACI tensile stress limit provisions.

  • This study presents a dry precast concrete (PC) beam-column connection, and its target seismic performance level is set to be emulative to the reinforced concrete (RC) intermediate moment resisting frame system specified in ACI 318 and ASCE 7. The key features include self-sustaining ability during construction with the dry mechanical splicing method, enabling emulative connection performances and better constructability. Test specimens with code-compliant seismic details were fabricated and tested under reversed cyclic loading, which included a PC beam-column connection specimen with dry connections and an RC control specimen. The test results showed that all the specimens failed in a similar failure mode due to plastic deformations in beam members, while the hysteretic response curve of the PC specimen showed comparable and emulative performances compared to the RC specimen. Seismic performance evaluation was quantitatively addressed, and on this basis, it confirmed that the presented system can fully satisfy all the required performance for the intermediate RC moment resisting frame.

  • For fast-built and safe precast concrete (PC) construction, the dry mechanical splicing method is a critical technique that enables a self-sustaining system (SSS) during construction with no temporary support and minimizes onsite jobs. However, due to limited experimental evidence, traditional wet splicing methods are still dominantly adopted in the domestic precast industry. For PC beam-column connections, the current design code requires achieving emulative connection performances and corresponding structural integrity to be comparable with typical reinforced concrete (RC) systems with monolithic connections. To this end, this study conducted the standard material tests on mechanical splices to check their satisfactory performance as the Type 2 mechanical splice specified in the ACI 318 code. Two PC beam-column connection specimens with dry mechanical splices and an RC control specimen as the special moment frame were subsequently fabricated and tested under lateral reversed cyclic loadings. Test results showed that the seismic performances of all the PC specimens were fully comparable to the RC specimen in terms of strength, stiffness, energy dissipation, drift capacity, and failure mode, and their hysteresis responses showed a mitigated pinching effect compared to the control RC specimen. The seismic performances of the PC and RC specimens were evaluated quantitatively based on the ACI 374 report, and it appeared that all the test specimens fully satisfied the seismic performance criteria as a code-compliant special moment frame system.

증기양생이 불필요한 PC부재용 조강형 콘크리트 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Non-PC High-Early-Strength Concrete Without Steam Curing)

  • 본 연구는 PC(Precast Concrete)부재 생산 시 스팀양생 공정을 생략하여 경제적 및 환경적 문제를 해결하고자 상온양생으로 탈형강도(10MPa이상)를 만족시킬 수 있는 조강형 콘크리트를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 따라서, 조기강도 발현에 반응성이 높은 $C_3S$를 많이 함유하고 있는 조강 시멘트와 $C_3S$의 수화반응을 높이는 경화촉진제를 사용한 조강콘크리트를 평가하였으며, 경화촉진제를 사용한 콘크리트 실험결과는 다음과 같다. 유동성 확인을 위한 슬럼프 플로 시험과 공기량은 목표값을 만족하였다. 경화촉진제를 혼입함에 있어 압축강도는 12시간까지 급격한 발현성상을 나타내었으며, 6~9시간 만에 목표를 만족하였다. 건조수축 및 자기수축의 최대 수축량은 ($-800{\times}10^{-6}$)이하의 값을 나타내어 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 간이단열온도상승 시험으로 24시간 이내에 Peak 온도를 나타내고 감소하는 것을 확인하였다.

분말형 경화촉진제를 혼입한 PC부재용 콘크리트의 기초특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Effect of Powder Hardening Accelerator on the Physical Properties of Precast Concrete)

  • 본 연구는 재령 6시간에 압축강도 10MPa 이상을 만족하는 조강형 콘크리트를 개발함에 스팀양생 공정을 생략한 PC(Precast Concrete)부재를 생산하고자 하였으며, 거푸집의 회전율을 높임에 경제성을 확보하는데 목적이 있다. 이에, $C_3S$의 함유량이 높은 조강시멘트와 $C_3S$의 수화작용을 촉진시키는 분말형 경화촉진제를 사용하였으며, 경화촉진제 혼입율 0%, 1.2%, 1.6%, 2.0%에 따른 콘크리트의 특성을 평가하였다. 경화촉진제 혼입율에 따라 슬럼프 및 공기량 시험에는 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았으며, 1.6%이상을 혼입하였을 때, 재령 6시간에 10MPa를 만족하였다. 자기(건조)수축 길이변화 시험 및 소성수축 시험결과, 경화촉진제의 혼입으로 수화반응 속도에 따른 차이는 있지만, 균열 및 내구성에 대한 문제가 발생되지 않을 것으로 나타났으며, 동결융해 및 탄산화 침투에 대한 저항성도 우수한 것으로 나타났다.
