A Study on the Improvement of Public Facility Management System Using Life-cycle Management (Life-cycle Management를 활용한 공공시설 유지관리 시스템 개선방안)

  • A building structures was used the facility management phase through $planing\cdotdesign\cdotconstruction$. phase. building's length of life was shorter than its physical length of life, because of the lack of law and institution, the lack of related agencies' preparation and owner's preparation. Also, considering the construction life-cycle, the facility phase accounted for $70\%$ of whole official lift, therefore, it needed to be opposed to systemic facility management. Current facility management system practically managed the defect of facility and almost never communicated between the other phase. In the side of policy, domestic law, institution, and policy related to building structure focused built-up market. and then the management of existing facilities was not consolidated efficiently. The purpose of this study was to suggest the direction of facility management construction for managing, utilizing, and operating public facilities, moreover, to study the direction of current facility management system improvement corresponding to total computer integrated construction system under government agencies.

Assessment of CO2 Emissions of Eco-friendly Lightweight Form in the Construction Process (시공단계에서의 친환경 경량 거푸집 탄소배출량 평가)

  • The purpose of this study is to validate the environmental performance of the 'eco-friendly lightweight form' in the construction process. Unlike existing euro form and aluminum form, the proposed form does not require form oil during the process of concrete casting and is lightweight because it is made of engineering plastic. Therefore, eco-friendly lightweight form will reduce the $CO_2$ emissions in the construction process. To verify the hypothesis, the study compared existing forms and eco-friendly light weight form's $CO_2$ emissions in each stage in construction process when using 1,000 forms and 100 times from the LCI(Life Cycle Inventory) data. The total $CO_2$ emissions of the eco-friendly light weight form were 30,487kg $CO_2$, which equated to about 58% and 20% less emissions than the euroform and aluminum form. The result of the study verified that the eco-friendly lightweight form was effectively reduced $CO_2$ emission in the construction process.

  • Recently, as the shape and function of high-rise buildings have become more complex, engineering for reflecting the constructability in the design phase has the increasing importance. However, engineering tasks are not performed at the appropriate level and timing in most projects, which leads to inefficient work such as design changes and reworks. Hence, this study investigated the constructability knowledge, design elements, and supporting tools required to conduct engineering tasks related to temporary work at the design phase, and also analyzed the relationship between these factors using the correlation analysis. As a result, when the engineering tasks are applied in the design phase, constructability knowledge related to 'construction method and process' is the most important and the design factor related to 'layout/arrangement' should be considered as the most important factor. Based on the results of this study, the project participants can efficiently use necessary constructability knowledge during the design phase and facilitate effective decision-making and design alternatives for enhancing constructability.

  • Modular construction has benefits such as short construction duration and high productivity owing to the production in factory and owing to simultaneous on-site work. However, rework occurs in modular construction and the rework affects the efficiency of modular construction. The almost of causes of rework are exist in design process. To reduce the cause of rework, the information flow of the design process should be managed and the plan to reduce rework should be included. However, the modular construction has complex process because of impeded unit production so it is hard to manage the information flow in design process. Moreover, when the plan to reduce rework is included, the design process will be more complicated. Therefore, the objective of this research is to suggest the design process including the rework reduction plan and to alleviate the complexity of design process by using Dependency Structure Matrix(DSM). By using DSM, the iteration and feedback in design process is reduced and it can be expected that rework in modular project can be reduced by using suggested design process.

  • 20세기의 도서관은 확산된 인터넷의 보급으로 대출형 도서관의 연장선상에서 이용자의 요구에 따라 관종이나 지역간 협력을 통한 네트워크 운영으로의 도약을 꾀하고 있다. 이후, 도서관의 발전단계는 다양한 서비스를 즐기며 오랜 시간을 관내에 머무를 수 있는 체재형(滯在型)도서관이라고 표방되고 있다. 이는 도서관이 오랜 시간 머물며 다양한 활동이 가능한 공간으로 거듭나기를 바라는 사회적, 시대적 요청에 의한 결과라 할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위하여 유니버설(universal) 디자인과 에콜로지(ecology) 디자인의 개념을 수용한 환경 친화적 도서관 건축에 대한 사안(私案)들을 제시하고자 한다.

  • To express the original texture of the concrete, exposed concrete finishing technique has been applied in many buildings. However, it is likely to cause quality problems after construction is completed. In addition, because of costs and time issues, reconstruction and maintenance works are difficult and ineffective. Therefore, step-by-step proactive quality management based on sufficient consensus among participants(client, designer, contractor) is very importatnt. This study analyzed factors causing low quality exposed concrete and quality contol points applied to 'A' headquarter construction project.

  • 실내 음향특성의 컴퓨터 씨뮬레이션 기법은 모형실험 기법과 더불어 건축물의 음향설계 분야에서 널리 사용되는 도구이다. 본 연구에서는 건축물의 음향특성을 설계단계에 예측하기 위해 영상법에 기초한 실내음향 해석 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 개발된 소프트웨어는 건축물의 3차원 형상모델, 벽면등 반사체의 흡음특성, 음원과 수음점의 위치 등의 데이터를 입력하면, 음선의 전파경로, 수음위치에서의 반사음 패턴, 실내 음향 특성의 평가척 (음의 명료도, 잔향시간 등)을 산출하여 출력하는 기능을 지니고 있다. 기존의 씨뮬레이션 기법이 소요 장비나 비용, 시간적 제약으로 널리 실용화되기 어려웠던 점을 고려하여 PC급에서 간편하게 활용할 수 있도록 개발하였고 음선 전차경로의 그래픽 표현, 반사음 패턴의 분석등, 건축물의 음향 설계를 위한 기능을 부여하는데 중점을 두었다.
