This study aimed to investigate pesticide residues in 160 stalk and stem vegetables marketed in Northern Gyeonggi-do. The QuEChERS method using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS was employed to analyze the residues of 341 pesticides in the samples. The maximum or lower than the residue limit was recorded in 75 samples (46.9%), while 4 samples (2.5%) exceeded the maximum residue limit (MRL). Thirty-nine kinds of residual pesticides were detected including fungicides (14), insecticides (22), herbicides (2), and plant growth regulator (1). Carbendazim and pendimethalin were the most frequelntly detected pesticides. Fenitrothion, procymidone, and diazinon exceeded MRL in garlic chives, and Welsh onion. This indicated that these vegetables along with water celery should be constantly monitored.

The quality of the products was investigated by analyzing fluorine content, pH, preservatives and tar colors in 31 dentifrice products (6 items for children) and 15 mouthwash products (2 items for children) marketed. It was intended to provide correct information to consumers by checking whether the standards and product indications match. As a result of measuring the fluoride concentration, 26 dentifrice and 15 mouthwash products contained from 48 to 1,472 ppm and from 85 to 225 ppm, respectively. Fluorine detection rates of dentifrice and mouthwash products were 83.9 and 83.3 %, respectively showing similar levels. Of the 41 fluoride-detected dentifrice and mouthwash products, 40 were 90.7~109.8 % of the displayed amount and suitable for the fluorine content standard of 90.0 to 110.0 %, but one dentifrice was found to be inappropriate at 36.3 % of the content indicated on the product. The pH of the dentifrice was 5.1~9.4, and the mouthwash was 4.2~6.2, which met all standards. As a result of simultaneous analysis of the concentration of six preservatives, benzoic acid was detected the most in 15 cases with a 30.6 % detection rate, sorbic acid was detected in 9 cases (detection rate of 18.4 %), and all four types of methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, butyl p-hydroxybenzoate were not detected. As a result of analyzing the concentration of 10 types of tar colors, six types including red40, yellow4, yellow5, yellow203, green3, and blue1 were detected in a total of 9 cases (2 dentifrices and 7 mouthwashes) with blue1 being the most frequently detected. Detected fluorine concentration, added preservatives and tar colors were consistent with the product markings and it was well written on product packaging. The detected preservatives and tar colors were at a safe level due to low risk compared to Acceptable Daily Intake.

Purpose: This study compared the effects of non-cold and cold conditions on the viscoelastic properties of tendon structures in vivo. Methods: Seven male subjects perfomed plantar flesion exercise with maximal isokinetic voluntary contraction, which consisted of muscle contraction for 6 see and relaxation for 60 secs, 10 times for 1 set, Totally 10 sets were repeated. Before and after each task, the elongation of the tendon and aponeurosis of the medial gastrocnemius muscle (MG) was directly measured by ultrasonography. (The relationship between the estimated tendon force and tendon elongation.) Tendon cross-sectional area and ankle joint moment arm were obtained from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The tendon force was calculated from the joint moments and the tendon moment arm and stress was obtained by dividing force by cross-sectional areas (CSA). The strain was measured from the displacements normalized to tendon length. Results: After cooling, the tendon force was larger in cold than non-cold. The value of the tendon stiffness of MVC were significantly higher under the cold condition than under the non-cold condition. The maximal strain and stress of $7.4{\pm}0.7%$ and $36.4{\pm}1.8$ MPa in non-cold and $7.8{\pm}8.5%,\;31.8{\pm}1.1$ MPa in cold (P<0.05). Conclusion: This study shows for the first time that the muscle endurance in cooling increases the stiffness and Young's modulus of human tendons. The improvement in muscle endurance with cooling was directly related to muscle and tendon.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical results of arthroscopic biceps long head suprapectoral tenodesis using an interference screw. Materials and Methods: We reviewed the cases of 30 patients who underwent arthroscopic biceps long head suprapectoral tenodesis using an interference screw between January 2008 and January 2010. The minimum follow up period was one year. Twenty patients had rotator cuff tears. The results were analyzed by VAS, ASES, tenderness in the bicipital groove, fixation failure, and the degree of deformity. Results: VAS, ASES scores showed a statistically significant increase during the final observation in all patients, compared with those before surgery. However, five patients (17%) had anterior shoulder pain and tenderness in the biceps groove, and three patients (10%) had Popeye deformity. Better results were achieved in patients without rotator cuff tear than in patients with rotator cuff tear (p<0.05). Conclusion: Arthroscopic biceps long head tenodesis above the pectoralis major using an interference screw in patients with a pathologic lesion of the proximal biceps tendon showed good results at the last follow up. However, further study for tenderness in the biceps groove in 17% of patients is needed.

This study aimed to investigate microbial contamination of Dutch coffee in Gyeonggi province, South Korea. A total of 70 different Dutch coffee were purchased from an offline market (food service business operator). Two types of coffee were considered: "coffee made from food service business operator" and "coffee made from food manufacturer." The levels of total aerobic bacteria were 0.74-6.21 log CFU/mL in 15 samples and fungi were 0.70-4.00 log CFU/mL in 21 samples. Total aerobic bacteria was detected at higher levels in "coffee made from food service business operator" than in "coffee made from food manufacturer," and the difference was not significant. Three samples in "coffee made from food manufacturer" exceeded the standard for total aerobic bacteria. Escherichia coli, Coliform, and 12 types of foodborne bacteria were not detected in all samples. The extraction method detected no difference in cell counts of total aerobic bacteria and fungi. Therefore, to reduce microbial contamination of Dutch coffee, managing hygiene while maintaining the refrigeration temperature from the bean management stage to the sale process is crucial.

1973년 6월부터 1975년 6월까지 2년간 창경원 동물원에서 사유중에 사망한 동물과 조류의 폐와 수집된 비둘기의 폐 231건을 대상으로 하여 육안적 및 조직학적으로 폐내 분근침착상태를 조사한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 총231건의 동물폐중 170건($73.6{\%}$)이 탄폐로 검출되었으며 이중 고도침착이 $3.9{\%}$로서 대개가 경도 및 중등도 탄폐로 검출되었다. 2. 포유류에선 $89.3{\%}$ 조류에선 $71.5{\%}$가 탄폐로 나타났으며 파충류에서는 3건 모두 양성이었다. 이중 고도탄폐는 포유류와 조류에서 각각 $3.6{\%}$ 및 $4.5{\%}$였다. 3. 사유기간이 길수록 탄폐는 심한 경향이 있었다. 즉 사유기간이 1년 이하의 동물은 $53.8{\%}$ 2년 이상에서는 $87.2{\%}$가 양성으로 나타났다. 4. 축사내사유가 축사외사유은 각각 $68.6{\%}$와 $74.5{\%}$의 탄폐가 있어 유의한 차가 없었다. 5. 육안적소견으로 탄내 분허침착을 확인한 경우는 5건밖에 없었으며 전부 조직학적검사로서 확인되었다.

삼성생명의 97년 상반기('97.1.1${\sim}$'97.6.30)에 발생한 조기사망건에 대한 분석을 하였다. 조사대상은 계약시 진단을 받고 가입한건중 계약일로부터 1년 이내에 사망한 사람을 대상으로 하였으며 자살과 불의의 사고에 따른 건은 제외했다. 조기사망은 진단건수 90,934건 중 26건(20명)이 발생하였으며 이는 100,000건당 29건이었다. 성별로는 남성 21건, 여성 5건으로 남성에서 높은 발생률을 나타내었으며 40대(代)이상 연령층에서 반수 이상을 차지하였다. 사인은 일반국민을 대상으로 한 사망원인과 일치하여 악성신생물이 가장 많았고 이어서 심질환, 뇌혈관질환의 순서였으며, 악성 신생물 중에서는 특이하게도 간암이 위암보다 더 많았다.

당 협회는 1989년 2월 업무를 개시한 이래 금년으로 제 5차년도의 사업을 추진하게 되었습니다. 본 협회는 작년에 전기통신기본법 제 30조에 의거 법정 협회로 재출발 함으로써 급격하게 변화하는 국제표준화 환경에 능동적으로 대처함은 물론 전기통신표준화를 보다 효율적으로 추진할 수 있는 기틀을 마련하였습니다. 협회는 1992년말까지 총 7건의 TTA표준을 제$\cdot$개정하였으며 이중 36건은 체신부에서 전기통신 국가권고 표준으로 채택 고시한 바 있습니다. 금년도에는 52건의 TTA 표준을 추가로 제$\cdot$개정할 계획이며, 특히 금년에는 전기통신관련 국제기구간의 협력사업을 대폭 강화하여 국제기구의 정책과 전략을 검토, 정책 당국에 대응 방안을 건의하는 등 국제화 시대에 부응할 수 있도록 국제협력 사업을 활성화 할 계획입니다. 1993년도에 협회가 추진할 사업계획을 요약하면 다음과 같습니다.

본회를 비롯한 11개 축산단체로 구성된 한국축산관련단체협의회(회장 : 전동용)와 민정당 중앙위농림축산분과위원회(위원장 : 전동용)은 지난 4월 20일 "사료 및 축산기자재에 대한 부가세 영세율 적용 건의서"를 작성, 대통령, 민정당 대표위원(중앙위의장, 정책위의장), 국회 농림수산위원장, 재무위원장, 경제기획원장관, 재무부장관에게 제출했다. 이들은 건의서에서 "쇠고기 수입재개원 243개 농축수산물의 수입개방 예시 발표로 국내 축산업이 살아남기 어렵게 되었다고 밝히고, 이에 대한 보완대책의 일환으로 국내 축산업의 생존과 더 나아가 국제경쟁력 제고를 위해서 120만 양축농님의 숙원사항인 사료, 동물약품, 축산기계 등 축산기자재에 대한 부가가치세를 영세율을 적용해 줄 것을 건의했다. 다음은 건의서 전문이다.

대통령직 인수위원회가 지난 2월 19일 중소기업중앙회 강당에서 열린 '중소기업 손톱 및 가시 힐링캠프'에서 대규모의 공공공사 분리발주 등 총 94건을 수용 개선키로 했다고 발표했다. 대통령직 인수위원회는 중소기업계가 꼽은 299건(공익과 상충하는 41건 제외)의 건의사항 가운데 총 94건을 수용 개선키로 한 것이다. 주요 개선과제는 ${\triangle}$정부조달 판로 확대 ${\triangle}$창업 기술규제 현실화 ${\triangle}$대 중소기업 상생 정착 등 총 7개 분야로, 이 가운데 조달부문에서는 전문건설사의 정부 공공공사 직접 참여 활성화를 고려해 대규모 공공공사 분리발주 원칙을 법제화 하는 한편 분할계약 금지 원칙이 담긴 국가계약법 시행령 제68조의 규정을 폐지키로 했다. 인수위의 이같은 결정은 지난 1월 24일 '중소기업 소상공인 현장의 목소리를 듣겠습니다' 간담회에서 대한설비건설협회가 건의한 분리발주 법제화 내용이 반영된 것이다.
