  • 최근 들어, 국내외에서는 화재안전 분야에서 성능기준이라는 개념이 중요한 토의 주제가 되고 있으며, 성능기준 화재안전 설계 기법을 적용한 건물들이 주요 선진국에서 들어서고 있다. 따라서, 기존 법률 기준으로 적용하기 어려운 새로운 건물이 들어서고 있으며, 이에 대한 화재안전의 중요성으로 말미암아 건축기술자, 화재안전 기술자와 건물에 대한 이해 관계자들 사이의 기술적, 법적인 이해 관계아래 건물의 미관을 살리며, 인명 및 재산의 보호를 동시에 만족시킬 수 있는 기술적 기준을 마련하고자 나타난 것이 성능기준화재안전에 기초한 설계기법이다.   • 건물에 화재가 발생하면 인명피해와 재산손실을 야기하여 대단한 피해를 일으킬 수 있다. 이에 BRE의 자매기관인 LPCB(손해방지인증위원회)가 인명과 재산을 보호하기 위한 기준을 개발하고 인증기구를 출범하였다. 이와 관련 건물 외장재의 화재성능평가에 대해 알아본다.

Inelastic Analysis of Steel Frame Structures with Viscoelastic Damper (점탄성 감쇠기가 설치된 철골조 건물의 비탄성 해석)

  • In this study the effect and applicability of viscoelastic dampers on the seismic reinforcement of steel framed structures are investigated in the context of the performance based design approach. The effect of the damper on dissipating the input seismic energy was investigated with a single degree of freedom system. For analysis models a five-story steel frame subjected to gravity load, a ten-story and twenty-story structure subjected to gravity and wind load were designed. The code-specified design spectrums were constructed for each soil type and performance objective, and artificial ground excitation records to be used in the nonlinear time history analysis were generated based on the design spectrums. Inter-story drift was adopted as the primary performance criterion. According to the analysis results, all model structures turned out to satisfy the performance level for most of the soil conditions except for the soft soil(operational level). It was also found that the seismic performance could be greatly enhanced, and the structures were led to behave elastically by installing viscoelastic dampers on appropriate locations.

  • Many school buildings are not applied seismic code because of small size structures. But it must be designed to show enough structural performance when subject to earthquake due to the fact that most of school buildings are generally used as public shelters when the natural disasters. In this study, the seismic risk of the reinforced concrete school building structure which is the most common types of school structures was evaluated by using the seismic performance evaluation methods. As a result, model structures don't have enough seismic performance.

  • 본 연구에서는 초고층 건물의 구조시스템에 대한 다양한 대안으로부터 각 대안의 성능을 합리적으로 평가하는 방법을 연구하였다. 이를 위해 우선, 대안평가를 위한 평가항목과 각 평가항목별 평가기준을 도출하고, 도출된 기준에 따라 평가결과를 산정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 평가항목간의 관계와 평가항목의 중요도를 산정하고, 퍼지적분을 이용하여 평가결과를 종합화하는 방안을 제안하였다. 평가항목은 크게 세가지로 이에는 구조성능, 경제성, 공기가 있다. 대안에 대한 평가는 예비평가, 본평가, 실시평가의 세 단계로 이루어지며, 각각 보수적인 관점에서와 낙관적인 관점에서의 평가를 실시하고 주어진 평가결과를 바탕으로 최종적으로는 엔지니어가 대안을 선정하는 방향으로 평가를 진행한다.

  • 건물에서 에너지손실이 큰 창호에 대해 최저소비효율기준 및 에너지소비효율 등급기준(안) 도입을 통해 지속가능한 고효율 창호의 보급 활성화 촉진과 관련 산업의 기술 및 산업력 향상을 적극적으로 유도할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 창호의 에너지 효율화를 위하여 고효율기자재(고기밀성 단열창호)로 인증받은 약 100여개 제품과 기타 제품에 대하여 창호 유형별 기밀 및 단열성능의 조사 분석을 통하여 창호 관련 제도 개정에 기초자료로 활용 에너지절약과 기후변화협약 관련 건물부문의 구체적 실천 대응방안으로 활용하고자 한다.

Insulation Details and Energy Performance of Post-Beam Timber House for Insulation Standards (단열 기준에 따른 기둥-보 목조주택의 단열 상세 및 에너지 성능)

  • Han-green project, which pursues Korean style post and beam timber house with traditional construction technique of Han-ok, has been carried out in KFRI (Korea Forest Research Institute) since 2006. Recently, the improvement of its building energy performance was studied with energy-saving elements. This study was conducted to provide the insulation details of building envelopes in a post-beam timber house for recent enhanced insulation standards and following effect on building energy performance. The level of thermal transmittance (U-value) values of building envelopes was composed of two stages: present Korean insulation standards and passive house. To evaluate building energy performance, the building airtightness values of two stages was ACH50 = $3.0h^{-1}$ for common domestic timber house constructed recently, and ACH50 = $0.6h^{-1}$ for passive house. Consequently, four cases of the building energy performance according to the combination of U-value with airtightness were evaluated. The test house for evaluation was located in Seoul and its energy performance was evaluated with CE3 commercial building energy simulation program. The result showed that enhanced insulation from level I to II reduced $14kWh/(m^2{\cdot}a)$ of annual heating energy demand regardless of airtightness.

  • 화재시 발생하는 연기 및 유독가스를 효과적으로 제어하기 위한 제연설비는 일정한 성능이 요구되며 각 장치에 대한 성능시험방법과 평가기준이 마련되어 있어야 하지만 아직 국내기준은 서류에 의한 예비검사나 부위검사 등으로 되어 있어 성능위주의 평가기준이 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 제연설비 주요 구성품 중 제연댐퍼에 대해 국내외 기준을 비교분석하고 정량적인 성능기준을 제시하여 이에 따른 평가와 적합성을 분석하고자 하였다.

Collapse Capacity Evaluation of Steel Intermediate Moment Frames Using Incremental Dynamic Analysis (비선형 증분동적해석을 통한 철골 중간모멘트 골조의 붕괴성능 평가)

  • Steel intermediate moment frames (IMFs) have been generally used as seismic load resisting systems (SLRSs) of a building to provide resistances against strong ground shaking. However, most of low and mid-rise steel buildings in Korea were constructed during pre-seismic code era or before the introduction of well-organized current seismic codes. It has been recognized that the seismic performance of these steel IMFs is still questionable. In order to respond to such a question, this study quantitatively investigates the seismic capacities of steel IMFs. Prototype models are built according to the number of stories, the levels of elastic seismic design base shear and the ductilities of structural components. Also, the other prototype models employing hysteretic energy dissipating devices (HEDDs) are considered. The collapse mechanism and the seismic performance of the prototype models are then described based on the results obtained from nonlinear-static and incremental-dynamic analyses. The seismic performance of the prototype models is assessed from collapse margin ratio (CMR) and collapse probability. From the assessment, the prototype model representing new steel IMFs has enough seismic capacities while, the prototype models representing existing steel IMFs provide higher collapse probabilities. From the analytic results of the prototype models retrofitted with HEDDs, the HEDDs enhance the seismic performance and collapse capacity of the existing steel IMFs. This is due to the energy dissipating capacity of the HEDDs and the redistribution of plastic hinges.

  • Heat pump unit performance is represented by the COP(Coefficient of Performance) and expressed by the one point design condition according to KS C 9306. However, when heat pump operated to the real buildings, the simulations are changed continuously according to the actual weather conditions, the building load and heat pump source conditions. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the APF(Annual performance factor) for a climate dependent building integrated air-to-air heat pump system in major cities in Korea. TRNSYS simulation tool with an international MV standard based IPMVP 4.4.2 was utilized to perform the annual performance analysis. The APF with the multi-performance data based method was calculated as 2.29 for Daejeon residential building case while Busan residential building case appeared as the highest with 2.36.
