그동안 현저하게 성장해온 경제사회 수준과 함께 일반국민들의 건강에 대한 관심은 대단히 높아졌다. 뿐만 아니라 국가는 보건부문에 있어 각종 보건제도를 개선하고 보건시설을 확충하며 의료전달체계를 정립하는 등 많은 투자를 하여왔다. 그러나 이러한 보건의료의 발전과 또 건가에 대한 주민들의 높은 관심에도 불구하고 현재 및 미래의 사회는 과거에 경험하지 못했던 새로운 건강문제가 대두되고, 과거와는 전연 다른 양상을 보이고 있어 우리의 관심을 불러일으키고 있다.(중략)

환경보건정책의 영역은 대기, 수질 등 환경매체에 배출된 오염물질이 수용체인 인간에 도달하여 건강피해를 야기하는 일련의 과정을 규명하여 예방 관리하는 폭넓은 범위를 차지하고 있다. 환경보건정책은 다른 매체별 환경정책에 비해 뒤늦게 출발하였지만 깨끗하고 안전한 환경을 보전하여 국민의 건강을 보호하기 위해서는 앞으로도 환경보건정책에 대한 지속적인 관심과 투자가 필요하다.

패키지디자인은 상품이 다양화 되고 선택의 기회와 폭이 넓어지면서 소비자는 감성적 가치에 치중하게 되었다. 본 연구는 건강식품브랜드 패키지디자인 개발을 통하여 제약회사 패키지 개발의 특수성과 제작에 있어서 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구대상인 제약회사 패키지 디자인은 첫째, 엄브렐러 브랜드(umbrella brand) 정책을 실시하고 있었다. 둘째, 보령 수앤수(보령 건강식품브랜드)의 브랜드 아이덴티티 부재이다. 셋째, 패키지 디자인에있어 규제가 많아서 시각적으로 보기 좋은 패키지 디자인을 하기 어려운 부분이 있다. 제약회사는 규모와 투자여력에 비하여 패키지 디자인에 투자하지 않는 영세성의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 국제적인 제약회사가 패키지 디자인에 강력한 시각적 아이덴티티 정책을 실시하고 있음을 양지하고 이를 개선하는 방안을 모색해야 한다.

첨단의료기기산업과 바이오산업은 유망한 미래 신산업이다. 바이오산업은 건강(Red), 환경(White), 식량(Green) 등 인류 난제 해결에 필요한 기술 및 제품 개발을 통해 고부가가치를 창출하는 미래 신산업인이다. 핵심 장애요인은 최고기술국 대비 핵심원천기술 확보가 미흡하고, 전반적 기술수준이 선진국 대비 60$\sim$70% 수준이다. 기업중심의 R&D 지원이 미흡하고, 고위험-고수익형 사업성격상 장기투자 부담에 따른 민간투자가 미흡하다.

Investment in health through an array of public health policies will lead to improvement of health at all levels, and the improved health can reduce the socioeconomic costs incurred with diseases. And finally, with reduced healthcare costs associated with diseases and health problems, economy will be able to achieve economic growth and development. Using simultaneous equations model, this study aims to identify this possible channel from public health policies to economic growth. Specifically, the policy effect is investigated on a basis of main disease groups and aging groups. The public health policies are proved to reduce healthcare costs related with disease groups including respiratory, digestive, circulative, and infectious disease, and with all age groups except 20~39 group. And the reduced healthcare costs have shown to increase the real gross domestic products in those group above.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to understand the health interest of consumers in the United States and Japan and thus understand the motivation of food choices, in order to provide basic data on the country's strategy based on healthy and correct food choices in the future. Methods: A customer survey was conducted in 2019 from October 18 to 31, and it targeted 115 American and 120 Japanese local consumers between the ages of 20- to 64-years-old. Eight questions were formed using General Health Interest. Based on food choice motivation, 27 questions were reconstructed and asked about demographic information. All data were analyzed by SPSS Statistics (ver. 25). Results: Health consciousness was categorized into 2 types: nutrition-seeking type and preference-seeking type. Based on these 2 factors, customers were grouped into 3 clusters: healthy dietary life-seeking group, nutrition balance-seeking group and health indifference group. Food choice motivation was categorized into 4 types: health, efficiency, value, and mood. All 3 groups showed a high tendency for efficiency in common. The results show that consumers want higher satisfaction with their time and money invested in food consumption. It is believed that the focus and investment of market segmentation strategy should be focused on product development, especially for American and Japanese consumers who are interested in health. Conclusion: The results of this study reflect consumer needs that can assist in the selection of healthy and correct foods in the future.
