This study is concerned with health damages from $SO_2$ under different assumptions on the relationship between air concentrations and their marginal health impacts. $SO_2$ concentration profiles resulting under emission caps, and a system of tradable emission allowances are compared. Using slopes and curvatures of the health response function consistent with evidence in medical literature, emission caps are shown to lead to lower aggregate damages under all considered parameters, an advantage of $26~452 million. The benefit of emission caps over tradable allowances increases with the curvature of the response function, but falls with its slope. The advantage of emission caps in terms of environmental damages is never overturned completely for the considered functional forms. The marginal damage function would have to be steeper than what the current medical evidence suggests for price instruments to outperform emission caps in terms of aggregate damages. With other welfare consequences included-emission abatement costs, consumer and producer surpluses, and government revenue-emission caps always lead to a $3.7~4.1 billion greater measure of social welfare.

최근, 물이 인류의 생존을 위협하는 문제로 인식되며 중요시되고 있으며, 이는 식수에 대한 국민의 생존권 및 건강권 뿐 아니라 청정하지 못한 수질에서 어획 또는 양식되는 수산자원의 안전성과도 결부되어 중요하게 인식되고 있다. 이는 중금속 뿐 아니라 세균이나 바이러스 등이 먹이연쇄를 통하여 건강을 위협할 수 있기 때문이다. 이로부터 다양한 수처리 기법이 개발되고 있으며, 그 중 하나인 화학적 산화법은 수중 오염물을 화학적으로 산화시켜 생분해성이 좋아지게 하거나 흡착법으로 쉽게 제거될 수 있는 최종 또는 중간 생성물로 변화시키는 방법으로서 염소, 오존, 과산화수소, 과망간칼륨 등이 통용되고 있다. 어느새 다이어트가 현대인의 일상이 되어버렸다. 과거 다이어트는 외모를 가꾸기 위한 여성들의 전유물로 여겨졌으나 이제는 남성들도 멋진 몸매로 거듭나기 위해 다이어트에 관심을 갖는다. 중년 이후에는 '건강'을 위해 살을 빼려고 한다. 이래저래 우리는 '다이어트 권하는 사회'에 살고 있다.

This study is carried out to critically explore the direction of the improvement of the protection clauses of minor artists which is the core of Popular Culture Art Industrial Development Act enforced from July 29, 2014. The analysis shows that the law accepted the social issues such as the prevention of procuring minor prostitution, slave contracts(unfair long-term contracts), and third party's profit-extortion. However, the law missing or not specifically stated about age-based differential enforcement of work hours, dangerous acting scenes shouldn't be forced to minors, right to sleep, health, and study, as well as the penalty regulations in violation of each clause. Consequently, the Act's revision and supplementation is necessary to fully meet above insufficiencies referring to foreign practices.

아직도 농촌지역에는 기생충병이 만연되어 있음을 알 수 있고 더욱이 전국이 일일생활권에 있어, 농촌에서 재배한 채소류나 육류가 쉽게 도심지 시장에까지 직판되어 식품매개성 기생충분포에 관해서는 도시 농촌을 구별하기 어렵게된 실정이다.

The purpose of study was to evaluate the amount and the accuracy of oral health care information in childcare books. Thirty five Korean childcare books were selected and analyzed. Twenty eight(80%) books contained information about oral health care and the average amount was 4.8 pages(1.2%). Among those books, the book that a dentist wrote the content and the book that was given advice from a dentist were one(3.6%) and one(3.6%), respectively. The eruption time and sequence of deciduous teeth and the toothbrushing method were described in 96.4% and 82.1% of those books. The books which contained the other oral health care contents were less than half. Three(10.7%) books contained inaccurate contents. Therefore, dentist should give oral health care information to parents more actively. And it seemed to be necessary to study other information sources like magazines, TV programs, internet resources, and education programs by health centers and department of obsterics.
