이 자료는 사업장 금연사업 담당자들을 대상으로 한 일종의 지침서로서 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention에서 2002년에 발행한 "Making Your Workplace Smoke-free:A Decision Maker's GUIDE"를 번역한 것입니다. 국내 상황과 맞지 않는 일부분은 현실에 맞게 수정, 보완해 국내 사업장의 금연사업 담당자들이나 보건관리자들이 자사의 형편과 실정에 맞는 사업장 금연정책을 실행하는데 있어 유용한 자료가 될 것입니다.

This study is a preliminary study to develop design guidelines on shared spaces of apartment for healthy housing. It was tried to set the basic direction of the guideline development by comparing and analyzing related literatures based on the previously identified evaluation indicators of healthy housing of apartment. The major findings were as followings: 1) based on the research conducted before, the characters of shared spaces for healthy housing were classified as physical, mental and social dimensions. 2) According to the comparison and analysis of relevant standards and guidelines, focuses were mostly on the physical dimension, particularly on the human traffic lines of the convenience attributes. Other focuses were on the attractiveness of the apartment complex of the vitality attribute under the mental dimension, and community facilities of the residential stability attributes under the social dimension. Therefore, it was identified that it is required to take complementary measure regarding mental and social dimensions, and design concrete steps to include different attributes of each dimension, in order to develop comprehensive guidelines for shared space.

사람들은 일반적으로 건강증진에 대해 오랜 기간이 소요되는 무형의 이익 효과보다는 소요되는 금전적, 시간적 비용 투자를 보다 크게 생각하는 경향이 있다. 행동경제학(bahavioral economics)에서는 이러한 경향을 현재우선편견(present-biased preference)이라고 정의하고 있다. 사람들은 의사결정 과정에서 미래의 비용과 이득보다는 현재 상황에서 발생하는 비용과 이득에 보다 큰 비중을 둔다는 것이다. 아러한 편견은 미래에 발생할 수도 있는 심각한 건강문제로 겪게 되는 막대한 비용요인보다 현재의 흡연에 따른 즉각적인 정신적 쾌감이나 당장의 즉각적인 즐거움을 보다 우선시하는 상황을 설명해준다. 대부분의 사람들은 측정가능하고 눈으로 당장 확인활 수 있는 이득에 대해 보다 쉽게 동기부여가 이뤄진다는 것이다. 따라서 이 때 주어지는 경제적 인센티브는 당장의 건강증진 행위를 실천하는데 소요되는 금전적, 시간적 비용부담을 줄여주는 효과를 제공활 수 있다.

According to 2005 Korea National Health and Nutrition Survey, it has been reported that 32.9% men and 31.8% women have Metabolic syndrome among the population of age 30 and over. The importance of prevention and management is being emphasized in Metabolic syndrome which is a complex disease related to various generic and environmental factors like other chronical disease. In this study we suggest an service based on the data using the system architecture, ontology and Jena2.0 inference engine and organizing the disease-related guideline. The study also arrives at the result through proper interpretation and reasoning process using health management service model based on ontology. The accuracy according to the situation was tested and 930 data samples were selected and experimented. We drew a conclusion that the much personalized data is available, the more personalized services are possible. Since the risk factors of Metabolic syndrome are various, it would be effective to suggest customized services based on various personalized data.

Lycopene, a carotenoid hydrocarbon is known to have effects on reducing cardiovascular risk factors, blood lipids, and blood pressure. Thus, a lot of supplementary foods with lycopene in several dosage forms like soft capsule filled with liquid and hard capsule filled with powder are available in a market. Recently, however, our research group found that the lycopene assay in Supplementary Food Code of South Korea is only valid for oily lycopene preparation. Thus, here, we developed a simple method to determine lycopene in solid preparations for Supplementary Food Code of South Korea using saponification and liquid chromatography with an absorbance detector. The method was validated following Ministry of Food and Drug Safety guidelines. All validation parameters observed in this study were within acceptable criteria of the guidelines (selectivity, linearity of r² ≥ 0.991, lower limit of quantification of 0.0149 mg/mL, accuracy as recovery (R) between 92.70 and 97.18 %, repeatability as relative standard deviation (RSD) values of R between 0.85 and 1.59 %, and reproducibility as the RSD value of interlaboratory R of 3.70 %). Additionally, the practical sample applicability of the validated method was confirmed by accuracy between 98.81 and 101.59 % observed from its lycopene certified reference material (CRM) analyses. Therefore, the present method could contribute to fortify the supplementary food safety management system in South Korea.

오늘날 전자계 노출과 건강의 연관성에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 인체보호와 전자파의 안정적인 이용, 일반대중의 불안감 해소를 위한 가이드라인이 제시되었다. 일반인보다 전자파에 대한 접촉빈도가 높고 노출영향이 큰 송전선로 철탑작업자에 대한 전자계노출량을 측정하고 기준치와 비교하며 저감대책을 제시하고자 한다.

국내 전체 가구 중 반려동물을 키우는 가구가 15%를 차지하고 있다. 반려동물에 대한 관심도가 증가하고 인식이 달라짐에 따라 반려동물 시장 또한 점차 커지고 있다. 이 연구를 통해 반려동물 보호자들이 반려동물의 건강을 쉽게 관리할 수 있도록 돕고자 한다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 애플리케이션을 통해 세부적인 항목을 제시하여 반려동물의 건강 관리하는데 있어 놓치는 사항을 줄일 수 있도록 한다. 애플리케이션에서 제공하는 동물병원 찾기, 산책 지수, 만보기, 케어 가이드 기능을 이용하여 어렵지 않게 반려동물 관리할 수 있도록 돕는다. 반려동물과 보호자들의 삶의 질을 향상시키는데 기여할 것이라고 기대된다.

Background: The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between risk perception and attitudes and preventive behaviors among college students with poor health and safety consciousness. Methods: A survey was conducted in students at three universities in the metropolitan area from May 11 to 18, 2018. Four kinds of instruments were used for this study, questionnaires about attitudes, perception, prevention education and preventive behaviors. Results: The safety-related attitude depended on age: those aged <21 years had the best attitude. Education experience significantly affected perception. Preventive behaviors were more strongly and positively correlated with attitudes than with perception. The factor most significantly affecting preventive behaviors were attitudes to preventive health. Conclusions: To allow the students to change their awareness and behaviors related to sickness and accidents, first it is necessary to give education on a continuous basis so that they can obtain perception to cope with sickness and accidents; second, it is necessary to develop behavioral guidelines related to accidents in each area so that they can practice and make it a habit through attitudinal changes.
