본 논문에서는 일반적으로 뇌파, 호흡운동, 표정변화, 심전도, 산소포화도, 인체의 땀 등을 이용하여 거짓말 탐지를 하는 것을 근간으로 하여 일상생활에서 쉽게 거짓말 탐지를 할 수 있는 시스템을 제작하여 제시한다. 이 거짓말 탐지기 시스템 제작을 통해 생체신호를 스마트폰과 연동함으로써 건강기기의 또 다른 방향을 제시할 것으로 기대된다.

본 논문에서는 기존의 고비용-고정형 거짓말탐지기의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 거짓말 시 발생되는 인체의 생리적 변화를 측정하기 위한 GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) 센서와 스트레스수치 알고리즘을 활용하여 스마트폰 기반 어플리케이션을 개발 및 그 활용방안을 제안한다. 사용자에게 부착하여 사용자의 생체 피부를 통해 외적자극 또는 심적 흥분/동요 상태에 의한 활동전위 발생 정도를 측정하고 이를 스트레스 지수로 변환할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 또한, 사용성 및 저비용성을 보장하기 위하여, 제안하는 거짓말 탐기기능을 스마트폰 어플리케이션화 하였다.

대화형 영지식 증명시스템을 사용하여 D. Chaum의 undeniable signature에 대한 거짓말 탐지기 기능 문제를 해결한 안전성이 증명된 의뢰 undeniable signature 방식을 제안한다. 제안한 방식의 안전성은 영지식 대화형 증명시스템과 고차잉여류 문제에 기반을 두고 있다.

Recruitment and selection are separate but mutually reinforcing processes. The goal of recruitment is to attract the largest number of applicants possible to apply to the agency, and selection is the process of weeding out unqualified candidates and identifying qualified candidates. In this context, the recruitment and selection system of police officials is an important issue because it affects their future performance as police officers on the job, especially their policing skills, perception of society, occupational ethics. This study suggested the characteristics of U. S. recruitment and selection system of police officials. In the U. S, each police agency sets up its own recruitment and selection standards and procedures. However, recruitment and selection process follows a certain sequence : receiving application, psychological examination, background check, polygraph test, drug screening, interview, physical agility, and medical test. Special characteristic of American police system regarding recruitment and selection is that many law enforcement agencies use a polygraph test to ensure the integrity of the candidates. Another interesting screening process is a drug test because many Americans abuse illegal drugs. A candidate officer must submit urine or a hair sample for screening test. Police human resources specialists should continually identify the most innovative tests and approaches recruit and select police officers. Recruitment and selection strategies should increasingly attract and retain those officers who have the attributes to work in a community-oriented policing environment.

한글 필적학 대한 연구가 부족하여 영어에서 이루어지고 있는 결과를 통해 한글 필적학에 대한 연구의 필요성 통하여 거짓말 탐지기와 더불어 범인을 검거하는데 활용될 수 있도록 그 연구의 필요성을 조사하고자 한다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 필적을 감정하는데 객관적인 기준이 되는 시스템의 제안과 필요성을 제안하고자 한다.

감성이란 외부의 자극에 대해 직관적이고 반사적으로 발생하는 저절로 반응하는 현상이다. 감성은 살아온 사회$\cdot$문화적 배경에 따라 흑은 현재 상태에 따라서 다르게 나타난다. 하지만 다소 개인적인 차이가 있을 수 있을지라도 개인이 속한 사회에 따라서 비슷한 상황 아래서는 비슷한 유형의 반응이 나타난다. 현재 감성 인식을 위해서 개인의 행동이나 신체적인 표현을 이용한 감성 인식 연구가 진행 중이다. 이러한 방법은 감성을 표현하는 방식에서 개인차가 커지면 효용성이 떨어질 수밖에 없다. 우리가 거짓말 탐지기를 사용하는 것처럼 본 논문에서는 감정에 따라 달라지는 개인의 생체 신호를 이용해서 감성 인식을 하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 감성에 따른 여러 가지 생체 신호를 추출하고 감성 인식을 위한 생체 신호의 특징점을 파악하고 패턴분류를 하고자 한다.

Human have more complicate and skilled ability for lying even cheat ourself. It is not easy to cheat unconscious things like sweat, eyes, or voice, but if some one cheat own self, he can cheat every of that. Lie is one of the way to spread our gene and our instinct make a lie. Every living organism even bacteria or virus use similar trick to survive. In human body, there are more complicate and profound mechanism for lying like breathe, sweat, eyes, face or voice. We can control some of that and make a fake, but it can't be perfect. Human also called 'Homo Fallax' cause we have a language and skill to lie with it. In present, we can detect lie with polygraph, but it has few weakness. So we try to use Vibraimage technology for resolve it. In this paper, we describe how to use Vibraimage for lie detection and the research history.

For scoring polygraph charts, the Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea uses a consistency criterion in which an elevated signal on one physiological channel is scored as a deceptive response only if the signal is also elevated on other channels. In the current study, the effects of this scoring criterion on reliability and accuracy (validity) of polygraph scores were assessed. Polygraph tests on 26 suspects were evaluated twice by the same examiners. The examiners used the consistency criterion in the first evaluation. In the second evaluation, the examiners were prevented from using the criterion; the signals from each physiological channel were separated and randomly arranged before they were rescored by the same examiner. Reliability was assessed by the variation among the scores for each suspect. Accuracy was assessed by establishing a standard, based on a Latent Class Analysis model, using the results of polygraph tests on each of 182 additional suspects. Reliability and accuracy were both improved by the use of the consistency criterion which therefore was recommended.
