  • 한인 13가구가 최초로 러시아로 이주한 1863년 이후 그 수는 기하급수적으로 증가하였다. 초기에는 국경지대를 중심으로 한인촌을 형성하였으나 점차 연해주는 물론 동시베리아 지역으로까지 확산되었다. 블라디보스토크에서도 도시의 건설 및 성장과 함께 한인 집단 거주지가 형성되었고, 두 차례 에 걸친 강제 이주와 한 번의 자발적 이주로 위치가 이동하였다. (중략)

Longitudinal Perspectives of Residential Mobility in Urban Area (도시지역주민의 거주이동에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 대도시의 인구이동률의 장기적 추세를 분석하기 위하여 시도되었다. 본 연구에서는 멕시코의 중소도시인 오하카(Oaxaca)에서 구역별로 추출된 633가구를 대상으로, 그들의 거주지 이동상황 및 이에 영향을 미치는 인구.사회학적 요인에 관한 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 가족의 거주지 이동률은 결혼후 5년 이내가 년간 23.23 퍼센트로서 가장 높았는데, 이것은 결혼초기에 출산과 관련한 주거공간 요구의 급격한 증가가 주된 원인인 것으로 해석되었다. 또한 연대별로는 1960년대에 특히 많은 주거지 이동이 있었는데, 이는 이 시기의 범 세계적인 아기풍년(Baby Boom)에 따른 급격한 자녀수의 증가와 관련된 거주공간의 수요확대로 인한 현상으로 해석되었다.

  • 휴대전화로 방송을 보고 TV로 인터넷을 하는 등 통신과 방송의 융합이 가속화되고 있다. 이동 중에도 방송을 볼 수 있는 위성DMB가 이미 정식 서비스를 시작했고, 인터넷 방송으로 불리는 IPTV도 올해 안에 모습을 드러낼 예정이다. 위성방송 스카이라이프는 얼마 전 'TV 주문 서비스'를 시작했다. 가입자가 리모콘으로 피자의 종류와 가격 등을 검색해 주문하면 거주지에서 가장 가까운 지점에서 배달해 준다. 통신과 방송의 융합 시대가 본격적으로 열리고 있는 것이다.

  • The third phase of NASA's 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge (part of a NASA's Centennial Challenges Program competition) required entrants to build a one-third-scale space exploration habitat (10 ㎡) using 3D-printing technology. This study addresses a proposed habitat (diameter: 3 m, height: 2 m) in accordance with the competition rules. The study focus is to find the most appropriate binder when KOHLS-1 was mixed for extruding and stacking as 3D printing feedstock using pellets, and to build a prototype structure as required by the competition. Unlike previous studies, this study was based around the binders and construction method, not around axis transfer velocity, flow rate, and heater temperature.

  • Interest in personal mobility has increased with the growing significance of first-mile and last-mile connectivity in smart mobility services. This study aims to propose a methodology for setting the service area of free-floating personal mobility sharing services and determining the optimal fleet size for the selected shared service area to address first-mile and last-mile challenges. We utilize population data, smart card data, and building data. Additionally, we estimate latent demand by incorporating age-specific and distance-specific utilization rates based on personal mobility device data. Along with the latent demand, we determine the service area based on locations of transit stops and buildings. We apply the proposed methodology to Yeongjong Island, Incheon. As a result, dense residential areas and popular beachside locations are designated as personal mobility sharing service areas. The fleet size for personal mobility in the dense residential service area is determined to be 1,022 units, while the fleet size for the beachside service area is set at 269 units.

Exploring the Spatiality of School Choice through Residential Mobility: A Preliminary Case Study of Elementary School Students in Seoul (거주지 이동을 통한 학교 선택의 공간성에 관한 연구: 서울시 초등학생의 전학 양상을 사례로 한 시론적 분석)

  • The main purpose of the paper is to examine the spatial characteristics of school choice through residential mobility by conducting a correlation analysis on the relationships between the middle schools' entrance rates to special high schools and the elementary schools' net transfer rates. Analyses are done at both the individual school level and the school catchment area level. Prior to the calculation, the two variables involved in the correlation analysis are transformed via a standardization equation, and the standardized scores are mapped and explored. Both the global and local correlation analyses are done for the standardized variables. Main findings are twofold. First, the global correlation analysis reports that there exists a statistically significant correlation between the two variables at both the analytical levels. Second, albeit the prominent positive correlation at the global level, the local analysis reveals the existence of a considerable level of spatial heterogeneity in terms of bivariate association. While several school catchment areas with very high local correlation coefficients (the HH association type) are popped up, other areas with various types of bivariate association including ones even opposite to the global trend are also observed.

An Analysis of the Changes in the Housing Instability by the Residential Mobility of Low-Income Households (주거이동을 통한 주거 불안정성 변화에 관한 연구 -저소득층을 대상으로 하여-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the changes in the housing instability of low-income households through their residential mobility. The concept of housing instability is measured by taking into consideration of housing types, number of moves, period of homelessness, and housing affordability index. The result of this study shows that housing instability of low-income households owned their homes is mainly caused from their old housing built in at least 1980, and that of tenant households is due to the heavy burden of rent-to-income ratio. By using multinominal logit model, the study finds that low-income tenant households are more likely to move upwards as they are man-headed, aged and relatively high-income if we categorize residential mobility into four types: upwards, equivalent, trade-off, and downwards migration. Considering that the share of homeowners moving downwards increases while the share of tenants moving upwards decreases as they reside increasingly nearby Seoul, the study finds that low-income households living in big cities are no better off to improve their residential instability for themselves than the low-incomes in local small and midium cities. Furthermore, both low-income owners and tenants are less likely to move downwards as the ratio of single-family housing in former residence increases. Such finding has a policy implication that government needs to maintain affordable single-family housing stock rather than supplying excessive unaffordable multi-family housing in order to enhance residential instability of low-incomes households.

  • 관광지리학의 대부분의 논문에서는 관광과 교통의 관련성을 설명함과 동시에 그 중요성을 지적하고는 있지만, 그 관계를 중점적으로 다룬 논문은 미약한 실정이다. 제야신도(1975)는 기계적 교통수단이 거주지와 관광대상지 간의 왕복이동 매체로서의 필요성을 지적하였고, P. Lavery(1977)는 교통로와 리크레이션의 형태, 교통로와 접근가능성, 리크레이션 자원으로서의 교통로, 교통로의 관리 등 교통과 관광의 관련성에 대하여 논하였고, 임한수(1992)는 교통이 관광 성장의 원인이자 결과이며, 접근성은 관광지의 개발과 성장에 지대한 영향을 준다는 것을 지적하였다.(중략)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of family relations on facility adaptation of the elderly. In January and February of 2018, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 5 ~ 6 elderly residents of each long-term care facility, and finally 353 data were used for analysis. The main results of the study were as follows: First, the adaptation level of the elderly was high. As for 'maladjustment of group behavior' and 'movement shock', the level of maladjustment is low as 2 points, and adaptation dimension such as 'accept of new residence' and 'making friend' is above the middle level. Second, the influence of family variables was more influential than the demographic characteristics of the elderly and the influence of the facility-related variables. Among them, the closeness with family is the most influential. Therefore, it is suggested that the elderly need active support and efforts to maintain the intimacy with the family from the entrance to the facility and the time after the entrance.
