  • The current study aims to examine whether dementia service utilization is associated with cognitive function and whether health literacy moderates the relationship between dementia service utilization and cognitive function. Data were drawn from the 2016 Dementia Literacy Survey collected by K University. The final analytic sample included 522 community-dwelling older Koreans aged 60 to 79. Results from multivariate regression analyses showed that both dementia service use and higher levels of health literacy were related to better cognitive function and that health literacy had significant moderating effects. When older adults used dementia service, those with higher levels of health literacy reported higher levels of cognitive function than those with lower levels of health literacy. Our findings suggest that health literacy plays an important role in determining the cognitive health benefits arising from dementia service utilization.

This empirical study of the relationships among service quality, customer satisfaction, and repurchase intention aims to provide basis data for increasing service quality, particularly in dealing with the defect issues facing construction companies. To this end, a literature review was carried out on the concept of service quality along with defect issues, and customer satisfaction and influential factors were identified. Building on these foundations and findings, a survey was administered to residents in housing dwellings such as apartments. The results of this study are expected to heighten awareness of the need for increased service quality, which may have a critical influence on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention, and will thereby contribute to enhancing competitiveness and other aspects of the current construction industry.

It revealed that mineral water contained considerable quantity of magnesium ions which helps the smooth activities of vascular muscles, nervous systems and protects skins from allergic reactions. It also lowers cholesterol level and contains high concentration of calcium ions which is one of the vital components of teeth and bone like phosphorus. Thus it is concluded that it is not qualified as boiler feed water as it has overall high degree of hardness by the presence of four times content of $Mg^{2+}\;and\;Ca^{2+}$.

  • Recently, the influence of the residential value of new town apartment houses has been increasing in the housing market; however, there has been little study on the relationship between the housing value and customer loyalty. This study analyzed the influence of the housing value on housing satisfaction and customer loyalty. To this end, this study conducted a survey targeting 519 residents in the second term new town. Accordingly, basic statistics, reliability and hypothesis test were carried out using SPSS 21.0 and ANOVA as an analysis method. The study results are as follows. First, as a result of factor analysis of the housing value, the factor was analyzed as 6 sorts, such as safety, sociality, convenience, economic feasibility, aesthetics, and comfort. Second, safety, comfort, and convenience among the factors in the housing value were found to have a significant influence on the housing satisfaction. This means that the concepts of property and assets reflect the development of new urban city apartments. Third, a new town house purchaser's positive housing value and housing satisfaction were found to increase customer loyalty. This greater satisfaction of the current residential apartment dwellers means that they are more likely to introduce their relatives and neighbors. These results suggest that a positive outlook of a new town householder on the housing value and housing satisfaction will eventually work more on revitalizing the housing market.

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing affected daily life and leisure activities, including forest recreational activities. This study identified changes in people's participation in forest recreational activities and factors affecting their participation. It collected data from 1,000 samples through an online survey and analyzed it using a binary logit model with interaction terms. It was observed that there were decreases in the participation in visits to urban parks and green areas, outdoor activities in forests and mountains, and trips to mountain villages after the COVID-19 outbreak. People in their 40s, 50s, and 60s were more likely to decrease their participation in all kinds of forest recreational activities than those in their 20s. Moreover, higher household income earners were more likely to decrease their involvement in outdoor activities in forests and mountains. With respect to the place of residence, the residents in the Seoul metropolitan area were less likely to decrease their participation in trips to mountain villages than those outside this area. Thus, this study suggests that online forest recreation information services and forest management are needed to meet the demands of forest recreation for young generations and diversify the function of forests and rural areas as a safe leisurely space.
