Traditionally, Anderson model is recognized as suitable for analysis of predictive factors for the use of medical and social services. Therefore, the present study was aimed to investigate the predictors of the elderly's use of the social service based on previous studies by configuring Anderson model's predisposing factors(gender, age, education level, place of residence, marital status), enabling factors(economic status, health literacy, use of welfare center or not), and need factors(whether held chronic disease, IADL and depression). To this aim, SPSS 18.0 was used for the subject of 329 elderly living in Chungbuk region. The main findings of this study are as follows. The most influential factor on the social service use of the elderly turned out to be whether to use the welfare centers and health literacy of enabling factors. Next, the depressed levels showed the most significant impact among the need factors, and gender was the most influential among the predisposing factors. Based on the results of these studies, some measures were suggested to activate the elderly's use of social services.

The population of Korean Society is aging rapidly at a pace which is unprecedented in the world. This demographic change results in the various socioeconomic and cultural changes accompanied by spatial changes. The purpose of this study is to examine major characteristics of residential medical facilities for the elderly and the life of those using the facilities of the Capital Region in Korea. Major findings of the study are as follows. The characteristics of the location of residential medical facilities for the elderly and the life of those using the facilities are influenced not only by the mobility of the elderly. but also by the distance between the facilities and Seoul and also by the residential environments of the facilities. The location of the facilities and the mobility of the elderly, followed by the residential location of the family have an effect on everyday life of the elderly. Therefore, the location for residential medical facilities is not recommended to be far from the metropolitan area.

Worldwide Electric Vehicle (EV) sales are rapidly increasing. But in many cases, charging locations can be found within or near downtown area of the city which makes EV users living outskirts of the city very difficult to establish their daily EV charging routines. In order to improve this situation, we have come up with a daily EV charge service connected with convenience stores and restaurants within reach of most EV users living in South Korea. We aim to allow users to charge their EVs while they shop and eat, just as if they charge their smartphones at cafes and restaurants. We have gone through user diary research and focus group interview research to figure out current user's concerns regarding charging and maintenance of EVs and applied the findings to our proposed service design.

단순 병원 전산화 수준이었던 의료 정보 서비스는 지능화된 의료 기기를 통하여 언제 어디서든 의료 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 u-헬스케어 서비스 형태로 진화하고 있다. 특히, 홈-네트워크 기술의 성숙과 고도화된 유무선 의료기기의 발달은 홈-헬스케어 서비스의 확대를 촉진시키고 있다. 그러나 홈-헬스케어 서비스는 거주자의 생명이나 안전과 매우 밀접할 뿐 아니라 주로 매우 개인적인 정보를 다룬다는 점에서 정보보호 문제에 매우 민감하다. 따라서 본 고에서는 신뢰성과 안전성을 보장하는 홈-헬스케어 서비스를 제공하기 위한 정보보호 요구사항 및 이슈들을 살펴보고 아울러 이와 관련된 대안 기술들을 구체적으로 살펴본다.

The purpose of this study is to find out differences on self-determination experiences according to livings in the different types of residential homes: large institutions, small group homes and independent living homes. For this, this study analyzed 17 living experiences, which came from interviews on 9 research participants lived in residential homes. Some of 9 research participants had experience living in only one type of residential homes; others had experiences living in two or three types of residential homes. The result of this study revealed the different levels of self-determination experiences according to the each types of residential homes. In terms of degree of self-determination, its level in the small group homes are higher than large institutions; independent living homes are higher than the small group homes. By this finding, this paper raised the need for the policy changes on residential home for the disabled people to accelerate deinstitutionalization and make sure higher level of self-determination of disabled people. This study suggested other implications related to the research on intellectually disabled people. Firstly, evaluative researches on service provisions to intellectually disabled people should reflect subjective experiences of service users. Secondly, diverse researches focusing on subjective experiences should be tried to expand understanding on intellectually disabled people. In these studies, conversation analysis could be widely used.

This research aims to investigate the socio-demographic, financial, and housing statuses of young married couples in Chonsei housing and to analyze the determinants of their residential environment quality and housing expenditure in four districts - Seoul and Gyeonggi-Incheon Area(GIA) of the Seoul Metropolitan Area(SMA), and metropolises and non-metropolises of non-SMA. From the 2020 Korean Housing Survey(KHS), this cross-sectional analysis examined a sample of 691 households, and the findings revealed that most were headed by college-educated, salaried male workers aged 31 years old. While childless dual-earner couples were common in Seoul, single-income families of three were prevalent in non-SMA. The financial status of the couples in Seoul was a lot better than in the other three areas, particularly much higher in Chonsei deposit and total asset value. Further, many lived in a three-bedroom apartment unit sized 60m² and bigger, using a Chonsei loan. Regardless of areas, almost all the households spent a very low portion of their living expenses and income on housing costs. However, dual-earner families positively increased borrowing capacity, which improves the household's financial position that is likely to lead to equity increment in a volatile asset market in the long run. The statistical results indicated that residential environment assessment was influenced by neighborhood quality and housing expenditure was affected by housing size in Seoul, urban amenities in GIA and householder's gender in non-metropolises. Thus, this research proposes that strong measures be considered to mitigate housing inequality embedded in geographical and socio-economic disparities.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between frailty and health care utilization in a cross-sectional design of a population-based sample of community-dwelling older adults. We used the data of 516 participants who dwell in Daejon, aged between 65 and 84 years old. Using K-frailty index, frailty status were measured and categorized as three groups: robust, prefrail, and frail. Logistic regression analysis was used to examine if frailty affects emergency department(ED) visit or hospitalization. In addition, negative binomial regression was used to examine the association between outpatient visits and frailty. Our results showed that the frail elderly increased the ED visit and the number of outpatient visit significantly after controlling for demographic characteristics, socioeconomic status, the number of chronic diseases, and self-rated health status. Considering that frailty is an important independent factor affecting health care utilization, more attention is required to prevent the frailty in our health care system.

본 연구의 목적은 미국 의류점포의 판매규정과 고객의 점포에 대한 기대가 판매원과 소매점에 대한 만족과 평가에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다 미국에 거주하는 한국 소비자들을 대상으로 먼저 시각적으로 분위기가 다른 두 점포에 따른 고객의 서비스에 대한 기대를 측정하기 위해 슬라이드를 보여주고 의류업체의 판매규정에 따른 의류에 관련된 문제상황을 설명해주는 시나리오(판매원 노력에 의한 문제 해결 또는 소비자 노력에 의한 문제해결)를 읽게 한 후 설문지를 작성하게 하였다 그 결과 업체의 판매규정이 판매원의 서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가 의류점포서비스에 대한 만족도와 평가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 취업주부의 시간절약재화 및 서비스 요구와 소비행동의 차이를 조사하고 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 것이다 연구대상은 서울 및 수도권지역에 거주하는 40 대 이하취업주부 401명이다 연구결과 시간절약재화 및 서비스 요구는 소비행동보다 유의하 게 높은 것으로 나타났다 시간절약재화 및 서비스 요구와 소비행동에 영향을 미치는 사회경 제.인구학적 변수는 가계생산이론에 근거하여 시간의 가치와 관련된 변수인 주부의 교육수 준 직업지위와 주부소득이었고 주부의 연령 가족수 등도 부분적으로 영향을 주었다 시간절 약재화 및 서비스 요구와 소비행동에 모두 영향을 미치는 심리적 변수는 가정목표지향성 경 제적 취업동기화 경제외적취업동기이고 직업목표지향성도 편의식품 사용정도를 제외하고 영 향을 미쳤다 이러한 연구결과는 취업주부의 시간절약에 필요한 재화 및 서비스에 대한 정보 를 제공하고 소비자 복지증진에 기여할 수 있다.

본 연구는 소비자의 의료서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인들을 규명해 보고 그 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 의료소비자가 인지하는 의료서비스의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 구성요소 가운데 의사, 간호사 등 의료인력 요소와 시설, 대기시간, 행정절차 등 비의료적 구성요소를 중심으로 만족도에 영향을 미치는 관련요인을 규명해 보았다. 본 연구에서 사용된 실증적 자료는 서울에 거주하는 사람으로 조사시점인 2007년 10월을 기점으로 지난 3개월 내에 의료서비스를 이용한 경험이 있는 사람을 대상으로 설문조사에 의해 수집되었고, 최종 543사례가 분석에 활용되었다. 의료서비스에 대한 만족도와 요인들간의 관련성을 파악하기 위해 상관관계 분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고 특히 의료서비스의 질과 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 의료 인력의 자질과 태도와의 연관성에 초점을 두어 분석하였다. 분석결과, 소비자의 의료서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 핵심적인 관련 요인으로는 의료인력 구성요소로서 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 "의사실력", "의사의 자상한 설명과 친절", "의사의 믿음직함", 그리고 "의사가 환자의 얘기를 귀담아 들어줌"이라는 의사의 자질과 태도가 가장 중요한 요인이라고 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 의료서비스의 질과 만족도연구는 소비자의 의료서비스 만족도 정보로 활용하므로 의료서비스 공급자와 의료기관 종사자들의 책임의식 고취와 고객중심적 의료서비스 문화 정착에 도움이 되고 소비자들에게 좀 더 나은 의료서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 의료공급자들에게 동기를 부여해 준다는 점에서도 의의가 있을 것이다.
