Object Avoiding and Tracking Method of Mobile Robot (이동로봇의 물체 회피 및 추적 방법)

  • 본 논문에서는 초음파 및 적외선 센서와 무선 카메라를 장착한 소형 이동 로봇의 장애물 회피 및 물체 추적 방법을 제시한다. 장애물 회피를 위해서 제어부의 초음파 발생 신호의 귀환시간과 거리와의 관계 및 적외선 센서에서 측정한 아날로그신호와 거리와의 관계를 추출하여 이동 로봇과 물체와의 거리를 판단하여 로봇의 움직임을 제어하는데 사용한다. 물체 추적 모드에서는 첫째, 물체와 배경 및 유사잡음들과의 강인한 분리를 위하여 고유색상정보와 움직임 정보 등의 사전정보를 활용하였으며 둘째, 형태의 변화가 수반되는 경우에도 유연한 대처능력을 갖도록 하기 위해 영상의 영역분할 방법을 통해 모든 후보영역내의 물체의 존재를 확인하고 물체영역만을 추출하였다. 셋째, 물체 형태정보함수를 정의하고 해당함수를 형태의 보전 에너지로 활용하여 동일 물체의 대응문제를 효과적으로 해결하였다.

  • 특정한 물체를 추적하는 방법에는 여러 가지가 있다. 사람의 경우 시각, 청각, 촉각, 미각 등의 여러가지 방법으로 물체를 추적하고 판단할 수 있는데 한 가지 방법 보다는 두 가지, 세 가지 방법을 동시에 사용하는 것이 물체를 추적하고 판단하는데 도움이 된다. 그러나 컴퓨터는 사용할 수 있는 정보가 제한적 이다. 물체를 추적하는데 있어서 영상데이터 만을 사용할 경우 물체가 가까이 있어 화면 전체를 차지할 경우 더 이상의 물체를 판단하기 힘들어 진다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 거리 센서를 부착함으로서 이동 로봇이 물체에 일정거리를 유지하면서 이동을 할 수 있도록 구현하였다.

  • 최근 코로나 사태로 인하여 한국에서는 사람 간에 거리를 두는 사회적 거리 두기와 생활 속 거리두기를 시행하고 있다. 또 식당에서의 지출 중 가장 큰 비율을 차지하고 있다. 인건비를 절감하기 위해 본 연구는 2D Lidar 센서를 사용하여 식당에서의 사람과의 접촉이 가장 큰 서빙의 역할을 로봇이 직접 하는 것을 목표로 하였다. Lidar 센서를 이용해서 SLAM을 구현하였고 안드로이드 앱을 사용하여 주문 결제를, Four Bar Linkage를 사용하여 음식 전달 부분을 구현하였다.

  • Routing technique of wireless sensor network that is presented to improve effectiveness of consumption in energy at the previous study is existing in various ways, however for routing, its own location data and nodes' location data close to with 1-hop distance should be kept. And it uses multi-hop transmission method that transmits data to BS node via several nodes. This technique makes electronic consumption of sensor node and entire network's energy consumption so that it makes effective energy management problem. Therefore, this paper suggests location based 1-hop routing technique of BS node that satisfies distance $d{\pm}{\alpha}$ with source node using RSSI and radio wave range of sensor node.

  • USN (Ubuquitous Sensor Network) identifies that networks are able to gather information from various kinds of sensors with RF. In the USN, it is important that sensor nodes deliver stable data by overcoming limited transmission distance and by setting optimum routes. In this paper, we propose a method to overcome the limited distance of sensor nodes using Wireless Mesh Networks. With this method, environmental monitoring system for u-farm support stable data transmission by applying MAP of Wireless Mesh Networks.

  • The principle, design, and application of a gear-tooth sensor for the rough environmental conditions such as high temperatures of up to $150^{\circ}C$ are studied. The rotation of a tooth wheel is detected by a couple of Hall elements manufactured on the SIMOX wafer by a methode of differential detection using bipolar silicon technology. The product sensitivity of the Hall element is about 510 V/AT over a wide temperature range of $-40^{\circ}C{\sim}150^{\circ}C$. The differential Hall sensor makes the maximum possible distance between sensor and tooth wheel wider than that when single Hall element is used over a wide temperature range, and the maximum detectable distance is 4.5mm at driving current of 4mA.

  • The distance of sensor nodes is an important factor in having influence on capability of networks in underwater acoustic sensor networks. Our proposed scheme is to establish an efficient distance to design a route of communication in underwater environment and it proposes a Level scheme that the areas divided by transmit/receive distance in network are given different levels. Our proposed scheme is pursued research to maintain a established route and maximize an energy efficiency. The established route will have fluid modification by an internal and external factors and it will construct more robust underwater sensor networks over our proposed multiple path configuration scheme.

  • In the area of wireless sensor networks, sensor coverage and network connectivity problems are caused by a limited detection range and the communication distance of the nodes. To solve the coverage and connectivity problems, many studies are suggested, but most research is restricted to apply into the real environment because they didn't consider various environmental factors on wireless sensor network deployment. So in this paper, we propose a node deployment strategy considering environmental factors and the number of nodes in surveillance and reconnaissance sensor networks(SRSN). The proposed node deployment method divides the installation of the surveillance and reconnaissance sensor networks system into four steps such as identification of influences factors for node placement through IPB process, sensor node deployment based on sensing range, selection of monitoring site, and relay node deployment based on RF communication range. And it deploys the sensor nodes and relay nodes considered the features of the surveillance and reconnaissance sensor network system and environmental factors. The result of simulation indicates that the proposed node deployment method improves sensor coverage and network connectivity.

  • The wireless sensor network is one of the most practical and cost-effective solutions for monitoring systems covering wild and wide area such as wildfire monitoring. However, the RF distance between sensor nodes is very short due to the need of low power consumption of the sensor node, so the number of sensor nodes to be deployed in the target area is more than tens of thousands. In this paper, we design and analyze the deployment issues as well as re-deployment problem occurred when the battery is exhausted. We also propose the needs and solutions for coverage problem in dynamic deployment. By the experimental evaluations, we analyze the packet success ratio between sensor nodes under various environments such as obstacles and variable distances.
