This study aims to find an efficient establishment and operation of a gallery in public libraries. A literature review, field case study, and interview method were used. 15 public library galleries in 5 regions in Korea and 11 public library galleries in 11 cities in 3 countries were examined. 22 people were interviewed and 21 (95.5%) of them claimed that a gallery needs to be operated in a public library. The result of the analysis proposes the followings for an efficient establishment and operation of a gallery in public libraries: firstly, employing an art gallery curator according to the library's situation. Secondly, establishing a gallery of at least 55m² in size. Thirdly, allocating an appropriate budget. Fourthly, if possible, gallery rental requests are reviewed by external experts and a gallery needs to be rented out to the public free of charge. Fifthly, having an operating manual or a regulation. Sixthly, a gallery should be operated directly by the library.

A gallery provides the function to make opportunities for artist to meet the customers who would buy the products from them. And there was performed the place where artist who production provider, planner, managers and private collectors met to distribute artworks and to educate fine art for public and provide a chance sending leisure time. We investigated this galleries at old urban center in daegeon region by the deep interview and Delphi method. A galleries was operated by a sense of duty and pride. Though its environment is poor, it grows up the young artist and art trends. By delphi results, the role of gallery is recognized as the discovery of an unknown young artist and provider of art trend and paradigm. Also they was recognized as the space for social and cultural responsibility operation culture. Galleries was recognized as key factors as literary value, marketability and harmony between gallery and artworks. Artist was known as a key factors as gallery's expertise, gallery awareness and capacity for artworks selling. Gallery will be considered the functions as the various cultural experience space and culture service space. Although galleries are passive and one dimensional functions.

삼화제지(주)(대표 김성호)는 지나 10월 23일 서울 을지로에 위치한 삼화페이퍼갤러리에서 한달간의 일정으로 테마기획전인 '종이, 이제 디지털 시대'전시회를 개최했다. 이번 전시회는 지난 8월 오픈한 삼화제지 페이퍼 갤러리의 두 번째 테마전으로 삼화제지의 고급인쇄용지들이 디지털컬러 인쇄에서도 인쇄적성을 가지고 있음을 보여주는데 초점이 맞춰졌다.

본 논문에서는 현시대의 핵심이슈인 신속성과 유용성에 맞춘 갤러리 카테고라이징 어플리케이션(이하 앱)을 제안한다. 해당 앱은 기존에 모바일 기기에 내재된 갤러리 시스템의 여러 가지 단점들을 파악하여 사용자에게 방대한 양의 사진 파일들을 보다 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. 또한 외부의 서버를 개인 메모리 공간처럼 사용하는 일종의 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술을 사용하여 모바일 사진 파일을 동기화한다. 이를 통해 비디오, 음악 등 모바일에서 다루는 고용량의 파일들과 수많은 응용프로그램으로부터 요구되는 메모리 공간으로 인한 모바일 기기의 용량 부족 현상을 완화하고, 모바일 기기의 한정적인 메모리 공간을 보완한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안하는 갤러리 카테고라이징 기법이 기존의 사용하는 갤러리 시스템에 비해 사진 탐색시간의 효율 면에서 우수함을 확인하였다.

Acquisition of the FIDO authentication technology in pursuit of improved security function of the NFC-based 2 factor electronic payment system enabled GenoTech Ch., Ltd. to develop its new service, Gallery-Auction, demoed at Daegu Exhibition. The demonstration was followed by the improvement requests in banner creation & installation, changes in UI, changes in order of operation, etc, which were taken into account for the succeeding update. During the second demonstration held at 'Art: Gwangju: 17,' it analyzed and visualized the number of visitors per hour there.

본 논문은 디지털 TV에서 시정자가 보고 있는 동영상에서 관심 있는 화면을 갭춰하여 저장하고, 그 저장된 이미지들을 미술관이나 박물관 같이 꾸며진 환경에서 감상하듯이 다시 볼 수 있는 자신만의 이미지 갤러리를 만드는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한, 컴퓨터 안에 있는 이미지를 PDA나 휴대폰 등에 쉽게 업로드할 수 있는 것과 같이 디지털 TV에서도 이 이미지들을 가공하거나 이메일을 통해 다른 사람에게 전달할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 TV에 이러한 갤러리 기능을 추가하기 위한 데이터 방송 애플리케이션의 설계와 구현을 기술한다. 이 애플리케이션은 디지털 방송이 시작되면서 가능해진 본격적인 데이터 방송을 응용한 독특한 예이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 데이터 방송을 구현하는데 필요한 요소를 기술하고, 애플리케이션을 구현하는 과정에서 해결해야 했던 문제점들을 기술한다.

현재 웹상의 이미지 갤러리에는 이미지와 함께 제목이나 설명이 포함되는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 갤러리의 검색, 정렬 등의 기능을 강화하고 이미지와 정보의 통합을 위해서 JPEG 이미지의 헤더를 확장하여 이미지의 저작자, 만든 날짜, 설명, 파일크기 등의 텍스트 정보를 내장한 Text Embedded JPEG를 고안하였다. 이 Text Embedded JPEG를 이용한 웹 갤러리에서 이용자는 이미지에 대한 보다 자세한 정보를 볼 수 있고 이 각각의 정보들에 따라 정렬할 수도 있고 이미지 정보를 변경할 수도 있도록 설계하였다.
