MODSIM 모형은 하천유역 네트워크 모형으로 최신의 네트워크 최적화 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 유역내에서 물리적 수문학적으로 그리고 수리권과 같은 제도적인 면을 동시에 고려한 물 배분이 가능하며, 네트워크 흐름 최적화 기법은 복잡한 유역 시스템의 모의 능력을 증대시켜 준다. 모형을 이용하여 링크와 노드 및 우선순위를 토대로 금강유역을 대상으로 3개의 저류노드, 57개의 비저류노드, 72개의 수요노드 및 127개의 링크로 구성된 네트워크를 구축하였다. 개발된 네트워크 모형의 적용성 평가를 위해 충청지역의 행정중심복합도시 건설전 후의 용수수급에 대해서 분석하였으며, 네트워크 설계, 우선순위의 설정, 모의운영의 시나리오 분석 등에 있어서 만족할만한 성과를 도출하였다.

IEEE 802.15.4는 저전력 무선 개인 네트워크(LR-WPAN, Low Rate-Wireless Personal Area Network)를 위한 표준으로 무선 센서 네트워크 기술에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 그러나 IEEE 802.15.4는 멀티홉 네트워크나 여러 개의 PAN(Personal Area Network)으로 구성된 네트워크에 대해서는 상세하게 기술하고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.15.4를 기반으로 하는 ZigBee RF4CE 네트워크에서 사용하는 multiple star 토폴로지를 주목하였다. multiple star 토폴로지처럼 여러 개의 PAN 간에 통신이 이루어질 경우, 이를 에너지 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하는 비컨 간격(Beacon Interval)과 슈퍼프레임 시간(Superframe Duration)을 분석한다. 이를 위해 QualNet 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 multiple star 토폴로지 네트워크를 형성하고, 비컨 간격과 슈퍼프레임 시간을 결정하는 요소에 대해 분석하였다.

영상 보안 시스템은 다양한 영역에서 그 중요성이 부각되고 있으며 보통 공적 공간 및 사적인 환경에 사용되므로, 민감한 정보나 개인 정보에 접근하거나 정보의 조작에 대한 우려가 높아지고 있다. 최근 영상 보안시스템은 분산 스마트 카메라로 발전하고 있으며 이들의 보안 문제는 네트워크 임베디드 시스템 및 센서 네트워크의 경우와 유사한 점이 있지만 개인 정보 보호 및 실시간 동작 등 스마트 카메라 네트워크만의 특별한 요구도 있다. 이러한 영상 보안 시스템의 보안 문제는 전체적인 시스템 구조의 설계에서부터 보안과 개인정보보호 이슈를 고려해하여야만 이러한 문제들을 해결할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재의 영상 보안 시스템의 보안 및 개인 정보 보호 문제를 다룬다. 영상 보안 시스템의 일반적인 보안위험, 노드에서 문제를 분석하고 네트워크 수준에서 사용 가능한 솔루션을 제시하고 보안 요구 사항, 가능한 공격을 설명한다.

이동에이전트(mobile agents)는 네트워크 관리를 위해 관리 장비에 정적으로 존재하는 것이 아니라, 관리자를 대신하여 이동하고 자율적인 실행을 통해 네트워크 장애를 진단하고 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문은 선행 개발된 자바 기반 이동에이전트 시스템인 JAMAS털 적용하여 유/덕선 네트워크에서 통신망 환경을 구성하고 감시할 수 있는 휴대 단말기용 SNMP MIB 관리 시스템을 구현한다. 제안된 시스템은 SNMP 에이전트의 관리 정보인 MIB(Management Information Base)를 접근하여 네트워크 맵 뷰어(map viewer), MIB 갱신 등을 관리자에게 제공한다. 또한, 제안된 시스템은 이동에이전트를 이용하기 때문에 SNMP기반 네트워크 관리 시스템을 위해 보다 더 효율적이면서 확장성이 있는 포인트 솔루션(point solutions)을 제공한다. 그러므로, 관리자는 개인 휴대 단말기(PDA) 등을 이용하여 유/두선 네트워크를 이용한 원격지 관리 장치들의 SNMP 에이전트와 상호 작업하여 관리 효율을 높인다. 가까운 장래에 IMT 2000 프로젝트의 원격 시스템 제어 및 성능 감시와 무선 인터넷 사용자의 증가에 따른 효율적인 시스템 및 컨텐츠 관리 등으로 확장할 수 있다.

This paper describes the design and implementation of Personal Mobile Broadcasting Service which bases on embedded Linux and it supports personal broadcasting in wireless network environments. Recently, with the advent of various wireless networks and the increased use of high performance mobile devices, the demand for personal mobile broadcasting is being increased. The personal mobile broadcasting service makes it possible that mobile users create contents using their own mobile devices while they are moving or they are in any place. And then, it sends the created contents to server in real-time where their blogs are. Users connected to the content creator's blog can play the contents in real-time. With the implemented personal mobile broadcasting service, mobile users can share multimedia contents in real-time through wireless networks. And, it also helps users to construct their own broadcasting stations where they can broadcast the scene of the accident or public performance in real-time.

최근 정보통신 기술의 발전과 더불어 급성장 중인 소셜 네트워크는 개인 혹은 집단간의 실제 사회적 관계를 네트워크 구조로 반영하고 있다. 소셜 네트워크를의 구조를 보다 정확하게 이해하고 소셜 네트워크 내에서 정보가 전파되는 패턴을 파악하기 위해 소셜 네트워크를 수학적으로 모델링하고, 이를 응용하여 소셜 네트워크 빅 데이터를 분석하는 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본고에서는 소셜 네트워크의 구조 분석과 정보 확산 패턴 파악에 관한 주요 연구 사례들을 소개하고, 특히 소셜 빅 데이터 분석과 관련된 연구 주제 및 응용 사례들을 살펴보고자 한다.

오늘날 개방형 플랫폼과 정보공유공간인 소셜네트워크 서비스(Social Network)의 사용이 증가하면서 관련 웹사이트와 어플리케이션이 많이 생겨났다. 기존의 시스템은 소셜네트워크 사이트가 개인 데이터의 소유권을 가지고 있어서 정보 보호에 문제가 있고, 웹 사이트 간 정보공유가 제한되었다. 그래서 소셜네트워크의 데이터를 개인이 원하는 다른 관리 영역에서 소유할 수 있고 서로 다른 소셜네트워크에서도 자유로이 정보를 공유할 수 있는 분산형 소셜네트워크에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시맨틱 웹 기술을 이용하여 이종 소셜네트워크 서비스, 다른 관리 영역의 데이터, 사용자들과의 관계, 데이터의 연관성들을 구조화 시키고, 데이터 웹 검색의 사용성을 높이는 데이터 웹 검색기반 분산형 소셜네트워크를 설계 하였다.

Based on social capital theory, this study investigated the influence of the start-up founder's social competence on the start-up's access to funding sources and performance through the mediating role of the type of social network. This study aimed to examine two types of social networks empirically (i.e., personal networks and business networks) as social capital in analyzing the effect of the founder's social competence and social capital on the method of accessing funding sources. A self-report questionnaire was administered to 252 South Korean start-up founders whose businesses are based in South Korea. Path analysis and mediation effect analysis were performed by structural equation modeling(SEM) using STATA 16.1. This study examined the full mediating effect of the founder's social competence on his/her personal and business networks, respectively, and how the effect leads to different methods to approach funding sources. This is the first study in South Korea to analyze empirically how social competence has contrasting effects on personal and business networks as well as how each type of network varies in its influence on the method founders use to attract investment. This study is also significant in that it proposed a new methodology by utilizing the position generator as the measure of personal and business networks to analyze social networks in detail. The analyses of 252 survey data collected over a period of six months will be a valuable resource that may provide researchers, founders, investors, and other stakeholders in the start-up ecosystem with meaningful implications.

This study is identifying a social standing on adolescents' social network in offline and how the social standing influence to online social activity. For the purpose, we explore two research questions. First, How the adolescents' social standing present in their offline social network? Second, How the adolescents' social standing influence to online social activity? Using data, we first visualized 5 social network of adolescents, and deducted each ego networks and global network. Also we investigated causality between social standing and social activities. The result showed adolescents' social tie and social gregariousness influence to social activity width and depth in ego network. Based on these findings, we discussed some implications, limitations, and future direction.

인터넷의 급격한 성장과 함께 네트워크 서비스에 대한 사용자의 요구도 점점 증대되고 있다. 이러한 시장의 요구에 빠르게 대응하고 새로운 특징에 대한 시스템의 수정과 보완이 용이하게 되도록 고안된 것이 네트워크 프로세서이며, 본 논문에서는 인텔사의 IXP1200 네트워크 프로세서를 이용하여 기본적인 IP패킷 포워딩기능을 수행하는 Communication kernel을 구현한다. 우리의 구현에서는 8개의 slow port와 1개의 fast port가 하나의 queue를 공유하며, Receive thread가 이 queue를 공유하도록 한다. Communication kernel은 receive scheduler, receive thread, transmit scheduler, transmit thread의 네 개의 모듈로 구성 되어진다.
