기존의 온톨로지 구축에 관한 연구들을 살펴보면 개념의 상 하위 관계와 관련한 연구 또는 기구축된 도메인에 특화된 지식베이스에 기반한 도메인 온톨로지 구축 연구가 주를 이룬다. 그러나 개념과 개념간의 관계는 상 하위 구조와 같은 단순한 계층적 구조로는 그 다양한 특성을 표현할 수 없으며, 도메인 온톨로지를 구축하는 경우에 기구축된 데이터베이스와 같은 개념간 관계가 잘 정의된 데이터는 반드시 필요하였다. 예를 들면, 다양한 지식이 구축되어 있는 데이터베이스나 특정 도메인에 관한 전문 사이트(예 : 의학정보, 약학정보 사이트) 등이 있어야 개념간의 다양한 관계가 표현되어 있는 온톨로지를 구축할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 도메인 온톨로지를 구축함에 있어서 이러한 제약을 극복하기 위하여 도메인에 특화된 문서들을 웹 검색을 통하여 수집하였고, 수집된 문서 데이터를 이용하여 자동으로 도메인에 특화된 개념들을 추출하고 이들 개념들을 클러스터링함으로써 개념들간의 다양한 관계를 표현할 수 있는 도메인 온톨로지의 자동 구축 가능성을 제시한다.

MSF(MultiService Switching Forum) 개념이 도입된 개방형 시스템 구조를 적용한 고성능 스위칭 시스템 개발이 필요하며, Media Gateway System은 ATM망에서 중저속의 Non-ATM 인터페이스를 수용하는 ATM access multiplexer/concentrator로서 ATM 물리계층 기능, ATM 계층 기능, 회선대행 기능, AAL2 trunking 기능, N-ISDN 연동 기능 및 FR/ATM 연동기능을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 Media Gateway System에 FR/ATM 연동 기능을 구현하기 위하여 적용할 연동 규격을 살펴보고 FR/ATM 연동시스템 구조를 제안하였다.

In the age of digital innovation based on the Internet, Information and Communication and Artificial Intelligence technologies, huge amounts of datasets are being generated, collected, accumulated, and opened on the web by various public institutions providing useful and public information. In order to analyse, gain useful insights and information from data, Formal Concept Analysis(FCA) has been successfully used for analyzing, classifying, clustering and visualizing data based on the binary relation between objects and attributes in the dataset. In this paper, we present an approach for enhancing the analysis of relational attributes of data within the extended framework of FCA, which is designed to classify, conceptualize and visualize sets of objects described not only by attributes but also by relations between these objects. By using the proposed tool, RCA wizard, several experiments carried out on some public open datasets demonstrate the validity and usability of our approach on generating and visualizing conceptual hierarchies for extracting more useful knowledge from datasets. The proposed approach can be used as an useful tool for effective data analysis, classifying, clustering, visualization and exploration.

본 연구는 지역명 범주에 속하는 용어들의 개념적 특성을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 다른 범주와의 관련도를 파악하여 지역명 범주 용어들을 중심으로 관계 속성들 사이의 논리적 연관성을 부여할 수 있는 모형 도출에 기반이 되는 기초 연구이다. 지역명 범주 용어 중 국가명에 한정하여 분석한 결과, 국가명 개념 속성 중심으로는 계층 구조 관계의 지역명 범주 용어들끼리 연관이 높으며, 전체 범주 용어들의 개념 속성 중심으로는 지역명 범주 용어가 지리적 위치로서의 의미로 주로 쓰이나, 행위의 주체 또는 객체의 의미나 시대의 개념으로도 많이 활용됨을 알 수 있었다. 국가명이 참조되는 개념 속성과 연관되어 활용되는 관계 속성의 경우의 일부는 참조하는 주요 개념 범주와 연관 관계를 토대로 논리적 의미 관계를 생각해볼 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Spatial data warehouses provide analytical information for decision supports using SOLAP (Spatial On-Line Analytical Processing) operations. Many researches have been studied to reduce analysis cost of SOLAP operations using pre-aggregation methods. These methods use the index composed of fixed size nodes for supporting the concept hierarchy. Therefore, these methods have many unused entries in sparse data area. Also, it is impossible to support the concept hierarchy in dense data area. In this paper, we propose a dynamic pre-aggregation index method based on the spatial hierarchy. The proposed method uses the level of the index for supporting the concept hierarchy. In sparse data area, if sibling nodes have a few used entries, those entries are integrated in a node and the parent entries share the node. In dense data area, if a node has many objects, the node is connected with linked list of several nodes and data is stored in linked nodes. Therefore, the proposed method saves the space of unused entries by integrating nodes. Moreover it can support the concept hierarchy because a node is not divided by linked nodes. Experimental result shows that the proposed method saves both space and aggregation search cost with the similar building cost of other methods.

복합명사의 한 구조는 구성 명사간의 수식관계의 집합이라고 본다. 한 복합명사에 대하여 가능한 여러 구조 중에서 올바른 구조를 알아 내는 것이 본 논문의 목표이다. 이를 위하여 우리는 최근에 유행하는 통계 기반 분석 기법을 이용한다. 먼저 우리의 복합 명사 분석 문제에 알맞은 통계 모델을 개발하였다. 이 모델을 이용하면 분석하려는 복합명사의 가능한 분석 구조마다 확률 값을 얻게 된다. 그 다음 가능한 구조들 중에서 가장 확률값이 큰 구조를 복합명사의 구조로 선택한다. 통계 기반 기법에서 항상 문제가 되는 것이 데이터 부족문제이다. 우리는 이를 해결하기 위해 개념적 계층구조의 하나인 워드넷(WordNet)을 이용한다.

There are some advantages of developing applications based on the object oriented concepts. One os them is that it is possible to reuse the existing designs and products. This paper provides a formal method for the reorganization of class hierarchies for the object extension in the object oriented design phase. In this paper, we introduce classes, and edges to represent the inheritance and aggregation relationship between classes. Based on the graph, we define an order relation(called the object extension) between class hierarchy graphs. And also we present a set of five basic transformations preserving the object extension relation. The set is proven to be correct and complete. The results of this paper help form a theoretical basis for the extension and reorganization object-oriented application systems.

웹 서비스는 사용자의 요청에 적합한 서비스 제공자의 정보를 제공하여 주는 시스템으로 사용자는 원하는 서비스를 웹 서비스에서 검색, 통합하는 등으로 새로운 서비스를 조합할 수 있다. 이러한 웹 서비스는 다양한 형태의 검색자원을 가질 수 있는데 HERMES는 웹 서비스 시각미디어 검색 시스템의 일종이다. 오늘날의 웹 서비스는 시맨틱 개념을 접목시켜 검색 성능을 향상시키고 정확성을 증대시키기 위해 온톨로지를 주로 활용한다. 시맨틱 개념의 핵심기술인 온톨로지는 단어와 관계들로 구성된 사전으로서 어느 특정분야에 관련된 단어들을 계층적 구조로 표현한 것이다. 본 논문은 온톨로지의 반자동 생성을 위해 Mining Extractor를 구축하여 HERMES를 개선하는 방법을 제안한다. Mining Extractor는 대상 도메인을 필터링하고 도메인간의 계층구조를 파악하여 온톨로지를 구축하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 워드넷(WordNet)과 데이터 마이닝 기법의 연관규칙을 적용하였다.

온톨로지는 의미적인 지식을 표현하고, 공유하기 위해서 여러 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있으며, 특히 시멘틱 웹의 상호운용성을 해결할 수 있는 중요한 요소로 자리 잡고 있다. 현재 온톨로지의 구축을 지원하는 다양한 도구들과 방법론들이 제시되고 있지만, 실제 구축되어진 온톨로지가 실용적이고, 도메인의 정보를 정확하게 반영했는지 검증할 수 있는 도구나 방법은 매우 미비하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 OWL언어로 구축되어진 온톨로지의 소스로부터 온톨로지의 주요 요소들을 추출하여 형식개념분석(Formal Concept Analysis)모델로 변환하고 분석함으로써, 온톨로지에 포함된 구조적인 문제점을 파악할 수 있는 방법과 도구에 대해서 설명한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 온톨로지 분석도구를 사용하면, 구축되어진 온톨로지에 포함된 구조적 오류 및 온톨로지의 구조를 수월하게 파악할 수 있고, 온톨로지 구축작업 및 수정보완에 있어서 더 좋은 개념계층구조를 갖는 온톨로지를 제안할 수 있다.

미래의 전쟁은 적 보다 더 나은 상황인식(SA: Situation Awareness)을 통한 정보우위를 기반으로 전쟁을 수행하는 네트워크 중심전(NCW: Network Centric Warfare)으로 작전 수행 개념이 빠르게 변하고 있다. 이에 따라 네트워크 중심전을 실현하기 위한 핵심 기술인 전술데이터 링크의 중요성이 크게 부각되고 있으며, 한국군은 자주 국방을 이루기 위한 한국형 전술데이터 링크를 개발 및 구축하기 위한 계획을 진행하고 있다. 본 원고에서는 한국형 합동전술데이터링크 구축을 위해 현재 미군에서 운용하고 있는 최신 전술데이터링크 기술인 Link-16 시스템의 핵심 요소기술인 PHY계층과 MAC계층에 관하여 살펴본다. 먼저 PHY 계층의 송 수신기 구조를 분석하여 전술웨이브폼의 성능을 알아본다. 다음으로는 MAC 계층에서의 자원할당방식을 알아보고, 최근 해군에서 개발중인 Link-22 시스템의 특징을 살펴봄으로써 Link-16 MAC 계층 기술의 발전방향에 대해 살펴본다. 마지막으로 이러한 기술 분석과 함께, Link-16의 PHY 및 MAC 계층 기술들의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석함으로써 한국형 전술데이터 링크 구축을 위해 필요한 기술요소들의 실질적인 성능에 대해 알아본다.
