A Design Methodology of Relational Database Schema Without the Conceptual Design Step (개념적 설계를 배제한 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마의 설계)

  • The design process of a relational database system consists of requirement analysis, conceptual design using ER diagram, logical design, and physical design. In logical design process, the conceptual schema is transformed to relational schema, and relational schema is normalized. This traditional design process is hard to applied in real database design process, since there is an ambiguity in conceptual design process. In this paper, we suggest a new design process, which provides more structural design steps by removing the conceptual design process. In new approach, we produce the data flow diagram by the structural methodology. From the attributes in the data store of data flow diagram, we construct relational table schema, and we normalize relational schema. Finally we produced table relationship diagram in order to figure out relationships between tables.

  • 석탄가스화 복합발전 플랜트의 시스템설계를 위한 engineering package의 체계 및 방법론에 대해 소개하였다. Engineering package는 플랜트 전체 개념설계 과정과 주요 공정을 구성하는 요소에 대한 설계/해석/시험 과정으로 나누어 진다. 개념설계과정은 설계목적과 제한조건을 충족시키도록 플랜트구성 설계, 정적/동적 시뮬레이숀, 요소별 설계사양 결정 및 Data Base Management System으로 이루어지며, 개념설계 과정의 한부분인 주요요소의 설계는 1차원 성능해석, 2/3차원 열유체해석 및 실험 그리고 구조, 진동 해석 등으로 구성되는 반복적 과정이다. 그러므로, 본 연구에서는 이러한 설계체계들의 개발전략을 설명하고, 현재 이루어진 추진결과에 대해 설명하였다.

Types of Landscape Design Concepts through Analysis of Award-Winners for Urban Park Design Competitions (도시공원 설계공모 수상작을 통해 본 조경설계개념의 유형)

  • The purpose of this study is to present types of design concept based on the specificity of landscape design, and to derive a theoretical framework for the landscape design concepts by analyzing the design concepts appearing in urban park design competitions. Through literature review, five types of landscape design concepts were categorized into value and vision, analysis and interpretation, form and structure, program and element, and process and operation. Using this framework, the design concepts shown in 96 works submitted to 18 domestic and overseas urban park design competitions were analyzed. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, due to the complexity of contemporary urban parks, design concepts are presented as mixtures of main concepts and secondary concepts in multiple layers. Second, it was identified that design concepts of 'form and structure' were used the most in urban park designs, followed by the 'program and element' concepts. The 'value and vision' and 'analysis and interpretive' concepts are introduced as third and fourth. Third, the reason that the 'form and structure' concept is widely used as main and secondary concepts is judged to be because the form of a space, which is the key result of the design, has an important influence on the identity of the design. Fourth, the reason that the 'program and element' concept type is widely introduced is that urban park design has a stronger planning aspect to produce programs during the design process, compared with other design fields where programs are usually given in advance. Lastly, it is difficult to see that the properties of the site solely affect the type of design concept, because a design concept is the result of a complex and creative process in which a designer subjectively interprets the objective characteristics of the site and project, and given design guidelines can affect the type of design concept.

  • The design process of a relational database system consists of requirement analysis, conceptual design using ER diagram, logical design, and physical design. The Effect of Intuitive Free Association and Systematic Free Association on the Creativity of High School Students Group in the Conceptual Design Process (직관적 및 체계적 자유연상기법이 개념설계과정에서 고등학생 집단의 창의성 향상에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to find the effect of intuitive free association and systematic free association on the creativity of high school students group in the conceptual design process. Based on this study result, the conclusion can be summarized as follows. 1. There was meaningful relation between intuitive free association and creativity factor of high school students. Mean value of experimental group A 's creativity and it's factor originality, practicality, elaboration, and fluency which treated intuitive free association was increased. 2. There was meaningful relation between systematic free association and creativity factor of high school students. Mean value of experimental group B 's creativity and it's sub factors: originality, problem solving, elaboration, and fluency which was treated systematic free association was increased. 3. It was found that two different divergent thinking does not show any meaningful difference in creativities of two groups. However, the meaningful difference was found in post creativity test in each groups sub-factors. There was meaningful difference in practicality factor, though there was no meaningful difference in originality, elaboration, fluency factors. Using the obtained results, it was concluded that intuitive thinking and systematic thinking play different roles in practicality which is one of sub-factors of the creativity of high school students. Consequently, it can be concluded that systematic thinking which leads students to take a step to solve a given problem can elicit more scientific thinking, and helps students create more practical solution in problem solving than intuitive thinking that emphasize the quantitative aspect of ideas.

  • 빌딩골조 구조물의 구조설계는 시스템, 서브시스템, 기본 부재의 여러 설계 단계에 걸쳐서 복잡하게 진행된다. 여러 가지 설계 대안들을 고려하고 비교하여 선택하는 작업을 설계과정에서 행하게 되고, 최종적으로 한 가지의 구조시스템과 이와 관련한 서브시스템 및 기본 부재들을 결정해야 한다. 빌딩골조 구조물을 위한 컴퓨터 통합시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 이러한 설계과정을 정형화하여 표현하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 시스템, 서브시스템, 기본 부재 단계에서의 설계과정을 표현하기 위한 개체형 통합설계모델의 프로세스 개체들을 소개한 후에 각각의 프로세스개체 내의 설계흐름을 기술하였고, 세 가지 설계 단계에 걸쳐 있는 많은 프로세스 개체간의 설계흐름을 제어를 하기 위한 개념을 설명하고 있다. 프로세스 개체간의 제어는 어떠한 개체내의 프로세스가 끝났는가를 파악하여 구조설계를 완료하는데 필요한 모든 개체의 프로세스가 끝났는가를 확인하기 위함이다. 이러한 프로세스 제어의 개념은 빌딩골조의 구조물을 위한 컴퓨터 통합시스템의 개발에 이용될 수 있다.

다양한 구조설계 과정의 표현을 위한 모델의 필요성

  • 본 기사에서는 간단한 구조물에 대한 구조설계과정의 예에 대하여 살펴보았다. 구조설계 과정은 MSD model의 개념을 이용하여 표시하였다. 그러나 MSD model은 구체적인 설계과정의 표기법을 포함하지는 않는다. 실제의 구조설계 과정은 본 기사에서 나타난 것보다는 더욱 복잡하고, 이를 위하여 질서정연하게 구조설계과정을 표시할 수 있는 표기법을 가진 model이 필요하게 된다. 지금까지 여러 연구자들에 의하여 설계과정의 다양성을 표현하기 위한 model들이 제안되어 왔으며, 본 기사에서 설명된 MSD model과 관련된 것으로는 Context-Free Grammar를 이용한 설계과정 표기법이 있다. 이 표기법은 개체형 통합설계모델의 일부로서 개발되었다.

Perceptions and Perspectives of Secondary Science Teachers on Core Concepts (핵심 개념에 대한 중등 과학 교사들의 인식 및 관점)

  • Rather than an abstract discourse, the purpose of this study is to outline the core concepts in the 2015 revised curriculum as a concrete teaching and learning method in the school context. We interviewed eight secondary science teachers and reported their perceptions and perspectives on core concepts using a backward design model based on the cyclical process of the platform, deliberation, and design for developing teaching and learning materials to understand core concepts. The participants perceived these core concepts differently, such as big ideas corresponding to the ultimate principle, minimum science concepts required for daily life, and primary and significant key concepts. In addition, this affects the association of teaching and learning. When core concepts are understood as transferable and expandable big ideas, there is a tendency to focus on the relationship between concepts and design project learning in a specific direction. However, if core concepts are identified as minimum science concepts at the level of science literacy, that can be recalled within the context of life, there is a tendency to emphasize on activities that make a meaningful difference to the lives of students with focus on case studies that are relevant to everyday life. Once core concepts are identified as key scientific content elements, such as basic or significant concepts, teachers recognize that it is essential to emphasize concept changes by correcting misconceptions, acquiring accurate scientific knowledge, and developing problem-solving items through paper-and-pencil evaluation. As the 2015 revised curriculum is finalized and the 2022 revised curriculum is scheduled for release, effective policy support is required to ensure that the curriculum is revised, which emphasizes the purpose of big ideas by naming core concepts as core ideas, to be stably implemented in schools.

  • 기존 인터넷 정보 검색 환경에서 사용자는 특정 목적을 달성하기 위해 비연속적이며 다단계의 정보 검색 과정을 경험해 왔다. 본 논문은 다단계로 구성된 정보 검색 과정을 절차적 정보 검색으로 규정하고 이를 위한 서비스팩(ServicePack) 개념을 정립한다. 또한 모바일 환경에서의 정보검색, 정보 검색 경험들의 축적, 공유, 개인화, 확장 및 재사용의 개념을 서비스팩 개념에 결합한다. 그리고 서비스팩 환경 구축을 위한 프레임웍을 설계하여 제시한다.

  • 개념-논리 스키나 설계의 목적은 개념 스키마를 사용 가능한 데이터의 구조화와 제약사항 모델화를 위한 기능들을 가능한 후 효과적으로 표현하는 것이다. 스키마 변환은 이러한 표현을 구현 언어나 데이터베이스와는 독립적인 차원에서 고려할 수 있도록 해준다. 개념-논리 스키마로의 변환에 프리미티브 변환을 적용함으로써 얻을 수 있는 이점은 개념 스키마에 나타난 정보를 손실 없이 구현 모델에 반영할 수 있게 한다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 다단계 보안 응용을 위한 일반화 계층구조의 스키마 변환에서 발생할 수 있는 프리미티브 변환을 논의한다. 이러한 변환은 다단계 보안 응용의 개념 논리와 설계 단계에 대한 질적 향상을 기할 수 있는 기본적인 도구의 토대가 될 수 있으며 또한 이를 적용함으로써 설계 과정을 변환의 작은 단위로 생각할 수 있게 해 줌으로서 설계 과정을 단순화할 수 있다.
