임산공업으로부터 발생되는 폐기물은 오염원으로서 그 위험도가 그다지 크지 않으나, 많은 공장들이 주거지와 인접해 있기 때문에 심한 오염원을 제공하는 것으로 인식되고 있다. 오늘날의 임산공업은 공장설립시 가장 중요하게 고려하는 사항으로서 환경에 미치는 충격을 최소로 하는 방향이며, 기본적으로 무공해 측면에서 공장의 설계 및 작업이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임산공업으로부터 발생되는 오염원의 종류와 각각의 오염원들이 환경에 미치는 효과를 개관하였으며, 이들 오염원으로부터 환경을 지키려는 최근의 기술개발 및 연구 현황을 검토하였다. 환경오염을 줄이는 방법은 막대한 경비가 소요되기 때문에 원자재의 사용량을 줄이거나, 에너지 이용효율 등을 높이는 방향에서 노력하고 있지만 폐기물처리를 위한 효과적인 대안은 없다. 그러나 정부 및 산업체가 환경을 보전한다는 차원에서 어느정도의 처리수준이 적절한지에 과한 검토를 계속하고 있다. 그리고 폐기물의 회수 및 재이용이 환경을 보전하는데 큰 역할을 한다는데 정부, 지역사회, 산업체 및 개인간에도 그 인식이 커가고 있다.

빠르게 진화하는 웹 검색엔진 및 기술은 도서관의 기존 OPAC 시스템에 대한 반성과 변화에 대한 요구를 가져왔다. 이렇게 등장한 '차세대 OPAC'의 개념을 사용하여 본 연구에서는 차세대 OPAC의 특징적인 기능 27개로 구성된 체크리스트를 개발하였고 우리나라 대학도서관의 차세대 OPAC 수용 정도를 파악하기 위한 도구로 사용하였다. 조사대상은 우리나라 4년제 일반대학교 도서관 191개관의 OPAC이었다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라 대학도서관별 차세대 OPAC의 수용 정도를 파악하고 이러한 혁신기술의 수용 요인을 모기관의 조직적 그리고 외부 요인 측면에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 기능 자체에 대한 요인 분석은 본 연구에서 제외되었다.

사이버물리시스템(CPS)은 실시간 제약으로 타이밍에 민감한 특징이 있으며, 산업 영역에 적용시 시스템 동작과 안전필수 로그의 특정한 패턴을 나타내는 대용량의 실시간 데이터를 생성시킨다. 본 논문은 공개소스프로젝트인 하둡에코시스템을 이용한 CPS 데이터분석 아키텍처를 소개한다. CPS 처리의 특징 때문에 그 대용량의 데이터 처리는 하나의 머신에서 분석될 수 없으므로, 하둡에코시스템을 통하여 실시간 기반으로 생성되는 데이터를 저장하고 처리하는 시스템 아키텍처를 제안한다. 하둡분산파일시스템(HDFS)은 거대한 CPS 데이터의 저장을 위한 기본 파일시스템이고, 하이브는 데이터웨어하우징 처리를 위한 CPS 데이터분석에 사용된다. 플룸은 서버들로부터 데이터를 수집하고 HDFS에서 그 데이터를 처리하기 위해 사용되며, Rhive는 데이터 마이닝과 분석을 적용하기 위해 사용된다. 이러한 아키텍처를 개관하고, 또한 효과적인 데이터 분석을 위해 사용한 시스템 설계 전략을 소개한다.

Wind power energy harvesting has a big potential as a future clean energy resource, but accompanies infrasonic noises. The infrasound is difficult to shield and can induce various negative physiological effects. In this study, the Wind Turbine Syndrome (WTS) caused by the infrasonic noises are introduced, and the technical aspects for the measurement and management of the infrasonic noises from wind power plants are discussed.

유사도는 두 객체의 비슷한 정도를 실수로 나타낸 것이며 반대 개념인 다른 정도를 나타내는 것을 거리라 한다. 실세계에서 정확히 같은 것은 존재하기 힘들기 때문에 많은 응용 분야에서 유사도나 거리를 이용한다. 거리 중 대표적인 것으로 유클리드 공간에서 두 점 사이의 직선거리이다. 이 거리를 유클리드 거리라고 한다. 코사인 유사도는 벡터 공간에서 두 벡터 사이각의 코사인 값이다. 이외에도 용도에 따라 다양한 거리 또는 유사도가 연구되고 있다. 수학적으로 유사도는 이변수 함수로 나타낸다. 앞선 연구에서 민코프스키는 맨하탄 거리, 유클리드 거리 등을 매개변수 p를 이용하여 하나의 식으로 통합하였다. 이러한 유사도 통합은 유사도에 대한 새로운 통찰력을 제공하고 또 다른 응용을 제공한다. 본 논문은 기존 유사도의 의미를 개관하고 추가적인 매개변수를 도입하여 민코프스키 거리와 코사인 유사도를 통합한 식을 제시한다.

In this paper as a case study, six libraries from Korea, German, Japan, the United States are selected and analyzed by their roles, services, collections and programs by utilizing their web sites.

키워드 유사성 검색은 입력받은 키워드에 관련된 의미 있는 데이터를 검색하는 것을 말한다. 데이터들은 매우 다양한 형태로 표현 될 수 있고, 각각의 형태에 대한 키워드 유사성 검색에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 이 논문에서는 다양한 키워드 유사성 검색에 대한 연구들의 개관을 살펴보고 그것들을 비교해 볼 것이다. 이 연구들을 비교 분석하는 것은 키워드 유사성 검색을 일반화 하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

Theses and dissertations are works embodying results of original research on a subject and substantiating a particular point of view by usually graduate students, as a degree requirement. Most theses and dissertations are not controlled by commercial publishing interests, and thus are not obtained in book-form by most libraries. Due to their lack of physical and ready availability and information about the contents, theses and dissertations have been extremely underutilized sources of information without distinction of nations. The goal of this paper is to provide the current informations on the distribution and management systems of theses and dissertations in Foreign and Korea. The findings of this study will provide the basis for developing an standardized management model of theses and dissertations that meets the needs of researchers, students, and librarians in Korea.

An area presenting new opportunities for both legitimate business, as well as criminal organizations, is Cloud computing. This work gives a strong background in current digital forensic science, as well as a basic understanding of the goal of Law Enforcement when conducting digital forensic investigations. These concepts are then applied to digital forensic investigation of cloud environments in both theory and practice, and supplemented with current literature on the subject. Finally, legal challenges with digital forensic investigations in cloud environments are discussed.

The home gateway, an equipment which works as an gateway for ubiquitous home network, relays all functions of a home network. The home gateway must always be connected in order to provide seamless services. However it gives unfavorable power consumption. Therefore the needs for working in maximum power saving mode while there is no data traffic and for invoking to the normal function when it is necessary. In this paper we survey the technical papers and the standards documents and provide an overview of power saving mode in the home gateway.
