A 2-month-old, intact female, maltese puppy was presented with an acute onset of hematuria and stranguria. The dog was diagnosed as urotliths in bladder using radiography of abdomen. Struvite uroliths in bladder were confirmed by Minnesota Urolith Center after surgical removal of uroliths on local clinic. There were 3 struvite uroliths in bladder and it caused hematuria. The dog had no problem including hematuria for 2 months after surgical removal of uroliths with preventative diet for struvite uroliths.

Non-chemical or low-chemical control measures against key insect pests and rats in the ginseng field were studied from 1993 through 1999. Broadcasting chemicals beside the ginseng field in the oviposition period showed the same control effect on the adults of the Korean black chafer, Holotrichia diomphalia, as broadcasting at the ginseng ridge. Ginseng damage by adults of African mole cricket, Gryl1ota1pa africana, were reduced considerably by broadcasting chemicals beside the ginseng field. The larvae of wheat wireworm, Ectinus sericeus, were attracted effectively to potatoes in the ginseng field. Spreads of the mealybug, Pseudococcus comstocki, were very slow in the ginseng field, indicating that it is possible to eradicate the early colonies of Pseudococcus comstocki effectively. The rat repeller, Dekur $500S^{showed}$ a significant control effect of rats in the ginseng field.

To supply seeds with a good quality as plant materials for herbicide screening and to know whether the germination characteristics could be associated with a differential response to herbicides, germination characteristics and differential responses to herbicides were investigated with 3 species of a genus Setaria ; Yellow foxtail(Setaria glauca P. Beauv, SETGL), Giant foxtail(Setaria faberi Hetrm, SETFA), and Green foxtail(Setaria viridis P. Beauv, SETVI). Degree of dormancy was high in the order of SETGL, SETVI and SETFA. The dormancy of SETGL seed was relatively well removed by room temperature and drying storage, but SETFA and SETVI by low temperature and wetting storage(stratification). For breaking dormancy of SETGL, SETVI and SETFA, it was necessary for being kept under the above storage conditions for at least 2, 4 and 4-5 months, respectively. When the dormancy-breaked seeds were transfered to low temperature($4^{\circ}C$) and drying condition, SETGL showed germination rate of 96% even after 2 month storage. However, SETVI and SETFA showed a decreased germination of 54% and 69%, respectively, with a decreased velocity of germination, indicating that secondary dormancy might be induced. On the other hand, a significant change in germination rate was not observed as the seeds were transfered to room temperature($25^{\circ}C$) and drying condition. The germinability of SETGL seed began to decline from 6th year after storage in room temperature and drying condition. All of 3 species showed relatively high germination rate at alternating temperature of $30^{\circ}C$/$20^{\circ}C$(14hr/10hr) and their germination were not increased by light. All of 3 species exhibited similar responses to cycloxydim, sethoxydim and primisulfuron in greenhouse experiment. In contrast, SETVI and SETFA were relatively susceptible to fenoxapropethyl, SETFA to fluazifop-butyl, SETGL and SETFA to clorimuron-ethyl, and SETGL to EK-2612. The difference in herbicidal response among 3 species was the highest in the treatment of EK-2612. These results suggest that there is no a consistent tendency in responses of 3 species to herbicides which have the same target site. And the relationship between germination characteristics and differential responses to herbicides was not found.

현재 인간처럼 직립 보행을 하거나 강아지처럼 인간과 함께 공존하도록 고안된 다양한 형태의 로봇이 개발되고 있다. 인간에게 보다 친숙한 로봇의 시대가 도래한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 뱀처럼 동작할 수 있는 뱀 형태의 로봇을 구현하고자 한다. 각 모듈은 수직, 수평 이동의 동작을 할 수 있는, 2 DOF를 가지는 모듈을 구성하였다. 여러 개의 모듈의 동작을 동시에 제어 합으로써 뱀의 다양한 동작을 구현하였으며 시각정보의 입력을 받아 물체의 색상과 물체의 형태를 인식할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 각 모듈에서는 2개의 모터 제어기를 내장하고 있으며, 전체 모듈의 제어를 담당하는 중앙처리 장치에서는 실시간 각 모듈의 모터에 동작 신호를 전달하도록 구성하였다. 생물학적으로 관찰한 결과 뱀의 이동은 이동 지점의 환경에 따라 매우 다양하다. 사막에서의 이동과 정글에서의 이동이 다른 형태로 이루어짐을 알 수 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 뱀의 다양한 이동 동작을 모방하도록 각 모듈을 제어하였으며, 전체 동작을 관찰하였다. 로봇의 구현 결과 뱀의 이동시 보이는 다양한 동작과 유사한 형태의 동작을 구현할 수 있다

A 4 months old Golden retriever male dog was referred. By the history taking, it was kwon that the mass has been formed at the parietal region of the patient after fourth prevention inoculation. The appetite, urination and excretion were normal. The mass confirmation which was limited in the parietal region, did not seem to be enlargement of lymph node from physical examination palpation. Complete blood count and serum biochemical profiles were consistent with mild lymphocytosis, mild monocytosis, anisocytosis, regenerative anemia and elevated ALP, CPK. Survey radiographs indicated a mixed density in parietal region. We performed surgical resection and chemotherapy for cure and biopsy. Histological finding was periosteal fibrosarcoma. The application of cisplatin was topically used in operation site. Up to now the indication of recurrence is not visible.

phenological study on the oviposition, emergence, and flight activity of the African mole cricket adult has been made to obtain basic information for management of pest populations in ginseng fields. The flight activity, as monitored by the blarklight trap, seemed to be initiated depending on the sunset time and lasted about 2-2.5 hours. The trap data (1984-1988) showed that the adult flight of the species occurred twice a year, from early May to late June(Spring flight) and from late August to mid October(Fall flight) during which usually more crickets were trapped than during the former period. The number of females trapped was greater than that of males regardless to the flight period, i.e., females comprised 72.2%, 83.9%, and 73.3% of the total catches in 1984, 1985, and 1986, respectively. Adults emerged from late August to mid October and laid eggs from mid May to mid July the next year, indicating that the spring and fall flights correspond to the oviposition and emergence period, respectively.

본 논문에서는 UNITY3D 엔진을 사용하여 스마트폰에서 조작할 수 있는 2D 캐주얼 육성 게임을 설계하는 것을 목적으로 한다. UNITY3D 엔진을 사용하는 이유는 소량의 비용으로 멀티 플랫폼을 지원해주고, 한가지의 소스코드를 이용하여 다양한 플랫폼에서 사용할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문의 특징으로는 기존에 있는 육성게임에 캐주얼 게임을 더해 미니게임을 넣어서 장르간의 융합을 이루었고, 10대 20대의 여성, 반려동물을 좋아하는 사람들을 대상으로 하였고, 손쉬운 조작 방법과 아기자기한 강아지의 모습으로 게임을 설계한다.

반려동물 인구 천만 시대에 맞는 맞춤형 의료 서비스의 필요성 증대 등 국내 반려동물 시장의 성장세에 맞추어 다양한 반려동물 관련 앱 서비스가 출시되고 있다. 그중 의료 관련 분야의 서비스의 수요가 고령 반려동물의 증가에 따라 특히 급속도로 증가하는 분야임에도 불구하고 관련 사례나 연구가 미약하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존에 제공되는 서비스 중 추론의 비효율성 문제를 극복하고 추론 과정에서의 사용자 피드백을 활용하여 궁극적으로 진단의 효율성을 극대화할 수 있는 전문가 시스템을 제시하였다.

최근 애완견을 키우는 가정이 늘고 있다. 하지만 여러 가지 개인 사정들로 인하여 애완견이 집에 혼자 있게 되고 사료를 챙겨주기 어려운 경우가 있다. 이로 인해 강아지 호텔 등의 대책들이 나오고 있지만 그에 따른 문제점 또한 적지 않게 나타나고 있다. 현재 우리나라는 스마트 폰 보급률이 급성장하면서 현재 세계 스마트 폰 보급률 1위를 차지하고 있다. 이를 배경으로 본 논문에서는 스마트 폰의 어플리케이션을 통하여 원격으로 애완견에게 사료를 공급해줄 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

본 논문은 영화에 나오는 효과음을 자막으로 생성해주는 자동자막생성을 제안하며, 그의 첫 단계로써 다중 사운드 분류 모델을 제안하였다. 고양이, 강아지, 사람의 음성을 분류하기 위해 사운드 데이터의 특정벡터를 추출한 뒤, 4가지의 기계학습에 적용한 결과 최적모델로 딥러닝이 선정되었다. 전처리 과정 중 주성분 분석의 유무에 따라 정확도는 81.3%와 33.3%로 확연한 차이가 있었으며, 이는 복잡한 특징을 가지는 사운드를 분류하는데 있어 주성분 분석과 넓고 깊은 형태의 신경망이 보다 개선된 분류성과를 가져온 것으로 생각된다.
