  • 선박 거주구는 승무원 및 여객들이 상주하는 곳으로서 대형 상선의 경우 주선체 상부에 건물형태의 높은 구조이므로, 선박의 불균형력과 프로펠러 기진력으로 인해 주 선체와 연성되어 진동이 발생한다. 대형상선의 거주구는 육상구조물과는 달리 주선체와 마찬가지로 강성은 일정하나 화물적재량의 변화에 따라 선박 거주구의 유효질량이 변화함으로 가변적인 진동특성을 갖는 구조물 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 가변 동특성을 갖는 대형상선의 거주구 진동을 수동형 및 능동형 흡진장치를 통하여 제어할 경우 거주구의 고유진동수 변화에 따른 제어성능의 변화를 반영할 수 있으면서도 제어성능과 안정성이 뛰어난 강건제어 시스템의 설계 가능성을 수치 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하고자 하였다. 적용대상은 진동문제가 많이 발생하는 컨테이너 운반선과 초대형 원유운반선의 거주구 진동특성을 3차원 유한 요소법을 이용하여 검토하고, 실험적인 방법으로는 거주구 형태의 구조물의 질량변화에 대한 동조형 흡진기의 제어성능을 시험과 선형이차 진동제어 장치의 진동제어성능 실험결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • 질의응답 시스템이 올바른 답변을 제시하기 위해서는 사용자의 의도를 정확하고 강건하게 파악하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 이러한 요구 사항을 만족시키기 위해서 본 논문에서는 실용적 질의응답 시스템을 위한 질의 유형 분류기를 제안한다. 제안된 질의 유형 분류기는 규칙 기반의 방법과 통계 기반의 방법을 접목시킨 하이브리드 방법을 사용한다. 제안된 방법을 사용함으로써 수동으로 규칙을 작성하는 시간을 줄일 수 있었고 정확률을 향상시킬 수 있었으며 안정성을 보장받을 수 있었다. 제안된 방법에 대한 실험에서 질의 유형을 분류하는데 86%의 정확률을 얻었다.

  • Pantograph design Process must be considered in terms of stability of aerodynamics and reduction of aeroacoustics. Furthermore pantograph needs to be insensible to severe circumstance condition like typhoon, tunnel, a change of season. In this paper, robust design of panhead sections is conducted based on the Taguchi's design of experiment method. In the aeroacoustic noise analysis, an acoustic analogy using the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings(FW-H) equation is used to calculate the flow induced sound pressure level in aeroacoustics. From the near-field CFD analysis data, the far-field noise is predicted at the positions of 25 m away from Pantograph. Based on aerodynamic(CFD) and aeroacoustic(FW-H) analysis data, the optimal sizing and Positioning of panhead elements are determined using robust design optimization method. Design parameters such as thickness, length and radius are controllable factors, while outdoor air temperature and atmospheric pressure are considered as uncontrollable factors in the context of Taguchi's approach. A number of CFD simulation and aeroacoustic analysis are performed based on orthogonal arrays. In this paper, two-step optimization method is used as a parameter design procedure. It is executed using signal to noise(S/N) ratio and analysis of means(ANOM) method. So Thus, an optimal level of design parameters Is extracted to minimize the disconnection ration between contact strips and catenary system, and reduce the far-field aeroacoustic noise.

  • The aerodynamic heating at a nose cone is predicted under the KSR-III flight conditions. An equilibrium reacting gas condition is applied. The parametric study is performed with Mach number of 4.9, 10.2 and 15 and for the following nose shapes of hemisphere, cut cylinder and parabola. AUSMPW+ and shock aligned grid technique are used to provide the best aerodynamic solutions. In addition, the composite material of a nose cone is discussed in the viewpoint of a thermal safety.

  • 친환경 차량의 필수장치로 사용되는 OBC(On Board Charger) 및 LDC(Low DC-DC Converter)는 시스템 성능은 물론 하드웨어적인 신뢰성과 더불어 차량에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 Fault로부터 차량과 운전자를 보호할 수 있는 안정성과 신뢰성을 확보하는 것이 요구된다. OBC/LDC 개발에 있어 시제품을 제작하여 성능 검증과 하드웨어 신뢰성을 확보하는 것은 현재의 개발 프로세서로 충분하지만 차량에서 발생하는 다양한 Fault 상황에 대한 강건성 확보는 실차에 탑재하여 검증하지 않고서는 뚜렷한 검증 방법이 없는 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 차량에서 발생될 수 있는 다양한 Fault 상황을 시뮬레이터로 모사하여, 이러한 Fault를 전력변환장치에 인위적으로 주입시킨 뒤 전력변환장치가 정상적으로 동작하는지 분석한다. 이를 통해 실차에 탑재하지 않고 전력변환시스템의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위한 방안을 제시한다.

Robust determination of control parameters in K chart with respect to data structures (데이터 구조에 강건한 K 관리도의 관리 모수 결정)

  • These days Shewhart control chart for evaluating stability of the process is widely used in various field. But it must follow strict assumption of distribution. In real-life problems, this assumption is often violated when many quality characteristics follow non-normal distribution. Moreover, it is more serious in multivariate quality characteristics. To overcome this problem, many researchers have studied the non-parametric control charts. Recently, SVDD (Support Vector Data Description) control chart based on RBF (Radial Basis Function) Kernel, which is called K-chart, determines description of data region on in-control process and is used in various field. But it is important to select kernel parameter or etc. in order to apply the K-chart and they must be predetermined. For this, many researchers use grid search for optimizing parameters. But it has some problems such as selecting search range, calculating cost and time, etc. In this paper, we research the efficiency of selecting parameter regions as data structure vary via simulation study and propose a new method for determining parameters so that it can be easily used and discuss a robust choice of parameters for various data structures. In addition, we apply it on the real example and evaluate its performance.

Does the Real Estate Market affect the Unemployment Rate in Korea? (한국에서 부동산시장은 실업률에 영향을 미치는가?)

  • This study analyzed the impact of the real estate changes on the unemployment rate in Korea. Using monthly data from January 2013 to February 2023, the study employed a multiple regression analysis model. The key findings are as follows: First, there was a significant causal relationship between the real estate changes and the unemployment rate. Specifically, an increase in the real estate market led to a significant decrease in the unemployment rate, while a decrease in the real estate market resulted in a significant increase in the unemployment rate. Second, an increase in the loan interest rate was found to significantly reduce the unemployment rate, while a rise in interest rates had positive effects on the employment. Furthermore, an increase in inflation was associated with a significant rise in the unemployment rate. Moreover, an increase in the number of permits issued for housing construction significantly reduced the unemployment rate. Lastly, conducting robustness tests by substituting variables did not significantly alter the analysis results, indicating the robustness of the impact of the real estate changes on the unemployment rate. Based on the above analysis, it can be inferred that the fluctuations in real estate prices in South Korea are linked to fluctuations in the unemployment rate, and stable management of the real estate market may contribute to the stability of the unemployment rate.

Robust 2D Feature Tracking in Long Video Sequences (긴 비디오 프레임들에서의 강건한 2차원 특징점 추적)

  • Feature tracking in video frame sequences has suffered from the instability and the frequent failure of feature matching between two successive frames. In this paper, we propose a robust 2D feature tracking method that is stable to long video sequences. To improve the stability of feature tracking, we predict the spatial movement in the current image frame using the state variables. The predicted current movement is used for the initialization of the search window. By computing the feature similarities in the search window, we refine the current feature positions. Then, the current feature states are updated. This tracking process is repeated for each input frame. To reduce false matches, the outlier rejection stage is also introduced. Experimental results from real video sequences showed that the proposed method performs stable feature tracking for long frame sequences.

The Vector Control with Compensating Unit Angle for the Robust Low Speed Control of Induction Motor (유도전동기의 강건한 저속 제어를 위한 단위각 보상 벡터 제어)

  • This paper is to describe the improved vector control which can control the induction motor robustly in low speed. When the induction motor is drived with low speed, below 10 percent of the rated speed, an algorithm which can compensate the error of unit vector angle generated by the harmonics is proposed. Another algorithm which can be tuned to the rotor time constant so that nay be robust to the rotor parameter change in low speed and transient state was proposed. The ripple of flux and torque was reduced by the proposed vector control and then the stable output characteristics was obtained in low speed. When the input and output is sinusoidal, the proposed vector control, the direct vector control and the indirect vector control were analyzed and compared in the low speed characteristics. And each control characteristics is compared and analyzed in state of containing harmonics. The estimation and tunning performance of rotor time constant is confirmed with simulation. The whole control system is implemented by real hardware and experimented to compare the proposed vector control with the direct vector control. As a result of the experiment with two control methods in low speed, the torque ripple of the proposed vector control is improved by 45 percent than the direct vector control. And it is confirmed that the flux current ripple is reduced in 0.2 p.u. and torque current ripple is reduced in 0.6 p.u. It is confirmed that the rotor time constant by the estimation and the tunning algorithm is tunned by the real rotor time constant. Finally, it was confirmed that the validity and robustness for the proposed vector control in low speed existed.
