  • This study set out to explore the human rights sensitivity of undergraduates who were in the social welfare classes with regards to socio-demographic factors, education experiences in human rights. 251 students' data were collected and analyzed with frequency, ANOVA. Analysis revealed that students' human rights sensitivity level was 2.70(moderate) and the respondents showed high level of sensitivity in work rights of emigration workers and education rights of handicapped children. Among demographic variables, human rights sensitivity was significantly different from major and experiences of attending a social welfare ethics. The students who majored social welfare and who had attended a social welfare ethics showed high human rights sensitivity. There were differences in human rights sensitivity level according to each episode. These findings highlight that in the education of social worker as a human rights professionals it would be necessary to respect students' rights in the classes and to provide student customized human rights education. It was suggested that learning human rights dilemma cases and self reflection processes in classes would be necessary to effective human rights education.

  • This study was intended to find out the factors affecting the efficacy and purpose of starting new business after their retirement of middle-aged office workers. The study also analyzed the relationship among these factors, founder's innovational mind, achievement desire, risk-taking mind and family support. For the purpose, questionnaires were collected 346 middle-aged employees working in Seoul and Kyonggi-do area. The findings were as follows. First, personal achievement desire and risk-taking mind strongly affected the efficacy of starting new business. Second, innovational mind, achievement desire and risk-taking mind had a positive effect on the purpose of starting new business. Third, family support had a moderate effect between achievement desire and the efficacy of the starting new business.

  • This study was intended to demonstrate how entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship affect the entrepreneurial intention, and also to examine whether Deokhu-like behavior, which can be called a personal characteristic, acts as an moderating variable in the relationship between entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intention. For this study, we conducted an online survey of young people through a research company and collected 231 surveys. The analysis showed that entrepreneurship education had a positive impact on risk-taking and innovativeness, which are factors of entrepreneurship, and again, risk-taking and innovativeness, had a positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. And the mediating effect was also found to be significant. It was also shown that the moderating effect of Deokhu-like behavior on risk-taking and innovativeness was significant. These findings suggest that entrepreneurship education has the effect of enhancing the entrepreneurial intention through the medium of entrepreneurship, and that the entrepreneurial intention can be stronger if a person with Deokhu-like behavior fosters entrepreneurship.

  • KIGAM (Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources) and MRAM (Mineral Resources Authority of Mongolia) performed joint survey on Bayan-Onjuul W-Mo mineralized area. Following the survey, we carried out magnetic survey. W-Mo occurrences are located with keeping a certain distance from the northern boundary of granite which has higher magnetic susceptibility values. Also, the 3D imaging results of magnetic inversion show that granite bodies are extended to the W-Mo occurrence areas from the deep main body with decreasing of susceptibility. The results of magnetic data analysis are well matched with the general characteristics of ore solution involved with W mineralization. The further study about the hidden ore deposits which have similar spatial relationship between granite and known WMo occurrences are necessary to improve the economic feasibility.

  • Experiments were conducted by moderate season culture of each of 7 early, medium and late maturing varieties which were considered to be of strong salt tolerance in non-salty, low- and high-salty reclaimed areas (salt content: 0.5% and 1% at the end of April). The results of the experiments revealed that the early maturing varieties were suffered greatly from salt damage in such reclaimed salty area which is the "fall better type" in the year-round changes of soil salt concentration in Korea. Better yielding varieties in the salty area showed generally a high yield ratio in the salty area compared with the non-salty area. This indicates that they are strong salt tolerant varieties. It seemed that the salt tolerance could be measured by the number of delaying days in heading, the growth rate of culm length, number of panicles and number of grains per panicle in the salty area to compare with the non-salty area. The effects or salt damage on the yields of each variety at maturing stage and agronomic characteristics in the salty area were compared and discussed with the non-salty area.alty area.

  • This paper proposes a self-organizing fuzzy modeling which can create a new hyperplane-shaped cluster by applying multiple regression to input/output data with relatively large fuzzy entropy, add the new cluster to fuzzy rule base and adjust parameters of the fuzzy model in repetition. Tn the coarse tuning, weighted recursive least squared algorithm and fuzzy C-regression model clustering are used and in the fine tuning, gradient descent algorithm is used to adjust parameters of the fuzzy model precisely And learning rates are optimized by utilizing meiosis-genetic algorithm. To check the effectiveness and feasibility of the suggested algorithm, four representative examples for system identification are examined and the performance of the identified fuzzy model is demonstrated in comparison with that of the conventional fuzzy models.

  • In this paper, a metamorphosed genetic algorithm based on the meiosis for human's chromosome is presented. In the algorithm, chromosomes in an individual are divided in half and in the other are divided into other rate. By our definition, they are composed of gametes with X-type chromosomes or Y-type chromosomes or especially M(mutation)-type chromosomes. When tow gametes among them are randomly selected and recombined, the new individual is correspondingly generated. Without reducing the searching space significantly, the global solution can be readily searched by new generated individual. The performance of he presented algorithm is examined and evaluated through proper simulation using test functions.

  • To investigate the feasibility of a boom sprayer in the paddy field, an experimental boom sprayer for both broadcast and directed spraying to the lower part of rice plants was developed. The droplet deposition characteristics of the boom sprayers were experimentally compared to those of power sprayer. Water sensitive papers(WSP) and a machine vision system were used to evaluate the coverage rate and droplet density. It was shown that the broadcast application by the boom sprayer was the best coverage among the tested sprayers. Coverage tate and droplet density were affected by the distance between nozzles and the sprayer ground speed, The best result was obtained when the distance of 30cm and the speed of 1.7km/hr. The directed application showed inconsistency in overall droplet distribution. The inconsistency was judged to be caused by conflict between plants and boom extenders. The power sprayer showed a very wide range of droplet size distribution, relatively larger droplets and inconsistency in cove The power sprayer was judged to be inadequate for the low-volume precision application because of inconsistency in performance and difficulty in adjusting the spraying rate. Based on the droplet coverage characteristics, it was concluded that the self-propelled boom sprayer for the broadcast application was feasible for an alternative to the power sprayer in case of low volume, precision application in paddy condition.

  • In this study, strengthening methods of floor surface finishing mortar are investigated to prevent the cracks using crack inhibitor agents, water reducer agent and resin. As a results, The number of crack and compressive strength of the specimen containing water reducer agent or resin had more effective than other specimens containing inhibitor agents at 7 days. And the highest compressive strength specimen showed the relatively no crack, but the lowest compressive strength specimen showed a lot of crack. Therefore the relationship between the crack growth and the compressive strength had proportional connection. A base on the mock-up test, long-term monitoring of the on-site applied to mixing design type3 showed the few cracks.

  • In this study, we conducted a research on optimizing the spraying performance of agricultural drones and predicted the spraying performance in various flight conditions using the multi-layer perceptron (MLP). Data was collected using a test device for pesticide spraying performance according to the water sensitive paper (WSP) evaluation. MLP training involved supervised learning to achieve a coefficient of variation (CV), which indicates the degree of uniform spraying. The performance evaluation was conducted using R-squared (R2), the test samples showed an R2 of 0.80. The results of this study showed that drone spraying performance can be predicted under various flight environments. In addition, the correlation analysis between flight conditions and predicted spraying performance will be useful for further research on optimizing the spraying performance of agricultural drones.
