In this paper, we introduce a Parallel Interference Canceller (PIC) based sorting method to improve performance in the MC-DS/CDMA environment. A conventional PIC estimates and subtracts out all of the MAI (Multiple Access Interference) for each user in parallel. The parallel process ensures the low delay for the detection of all users. Also this scheme requires more stages for having better performance. Since the performance of PIC is strongly related to the correct MAI estimation, we introduce the IC (Interference Cancellation) scheme to estimate the accurate weaker signal group than the desired signal using conventional PIC. The principle of the proposed receiver sorts in descending order by the strength of signal and subtracts the MAI of the strong interferers from the desired signal for the accurate estimate of the weaker signals. Following this, the proposed scheme cancels out the improved weaker interference from the desired signal, using the output of the pre-step. In this result, the proposed system obtains better BER performance than the conventional PIC because the accuracy of the strong signal is improved. However, a disadvantage exists in that the processing time has slightly longer delay than the PIC owing to the power sorting and the MAI estimation process. The system performance evaluates and compares other non-liner It according to the number of sub-carriers in the limited-bandwidth.

As the recently soaring wireless traffic, small-cell techniques have been actively studied in order to support such a wireless demand for cellular wireless networks. This paper studies interference mitigation methods for random-access small-cell networks. Although inter-cell interference between small random-access cells is one of the main factors to degrade overall performance, most of the previous works focused on interference mitigation between users in each cell. To address such limitation, dynamic opportunistic interference alignment is proposed exploiting statistical characteristics of random-access. It is demonstrated by simulation that the proposed scheme outperforms the previous approach as the number of cells or the number of users in each cell increases.
Assuming perfect channel state information (CSI), the conventional interference alignment (IA) algorithm in the uplink cellular system suppresses inter-cell interference (ICI) by aligning ICI to a randomly selected reference vector. However, IA in practice relies on limited feedback between base stations and users, resulting in residual ICI. In this paper, we propose the optimization of the reference vector that minimizes the upper-bound of residual ICI power. Secondly, the iterative IA that designs the direction of transmit and receive filter is proposed to minimize the residual ICI as well as maximize the desired signals. Moreover, we propose the user scheduling method combined with proposed IA schemes which provides the multiuser diversity gain in multi-cell environments. Finally, the performance gain of the proposed IA algorithms compared with the existing IA are analyzed and demonstrated by simulation results.

We consider the device-to-device (D2D) communication underlaying multi-cell interference system, in which the cellular downlink (DL) resource is reused by K cells and two D2D transmission links within each cell. In this paper, it has been shown that the downlink intra-cell and inter-cell interference can be effectively handled by interference alignment (IA) technique, as long as the simultaneous D2D links are properly selected or power-controlled so that they may not incur interference to the base stations in the same and neighbor cells. In particular, we provides the IA technique that can achieve the theoretically maximum possible degree of freedom (DOF), demonstrating that a total of (K+1)M degrees of freedom (DOFs) can be achieved for K-cell interference system with two underlaying D2D links, where base stations, cellular UE's, and D2D UE's all have M transmit and receive antennas.

In this paper, we first study the spatial multiplexing gain for the 3-cell interfering broadcast channels (IFBC) where all base stations and mobile users are equipped with multiple antennas. Then, we present the IA scheme in conjunction with user selection which outperforms the TDMA technique in the IFBC environment. The optimal scheduling method utilizes multiuser diversity to achieve a significant fraction of sum capacity by using an exhaustive search algorithm. To reduce the computational complexity, a suboptimal scheduling method is proposed based on a coordinate ascent approach.

In this paper, we propose a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) method based on channel alignment to simultaneously transmit multiple unicast and multicast streams in frequency-efficient manner. In this method, all receivers in a multicast cluster use the receive beamforming vectors that align their channels, and the base station uses the aligned channel information to design the transmit beamforming vectors that eliminate interference between multicast clusters. Using the effective receive channel information combined with the transmit beamforming vectors, unicast receivers design their own receive beamforming vectors that eliminate interference between unicast receivers. Since the proposed method effectively eliminates the interference, it achieves a higher sum rate than the existing orthogonal multiple access (OMA) method in high SNR regions. In addition, we present a hybrid method that exploits the benefits of the proposed NOMA method and the existing OMA method. Depending on the channel state, the hybrid method adaptively employs the existing OMA method, which improves the received signal power, in low SNR regions and the proposed NOMA method, which effectively eliminates the interference, in high SNR regions, thereby achieving a good sum rate over the entire SNR region.

This paper described design method to minimize the crosstalk effect of multiaxis thrust measurement stand which can measure the thrust vector control performance of Solid Rocket Motor. This paper presents a theoretical solution for predicting the magnitude of crosstalk and calculates design sensitivity. The results indicate that the most important parameter of crosstalk is the displacement of flexure-loadcell-flexure assembly. And shape, dimension and mechanical properties of flexure and loadcell can also influence the magnitude of crosstalk.
