This study sought to examine and revise the 'Multicultural Family Support Act' for domestic multicultural families. To this end, we looked at the Multicultural Family Support Act along with the current status and support policies of multicultural families. First, as in Article 1 of the Act, it proposed to reflect Article 3 of the Article 5(basic ideas) to realize the purpose of the law contributing to 'improvement of quality of life' and 'social integration'. Second, the current law stipulates that support and related policies should be implemented every five years, and by conducting planning and due diligence surveys every three years, it suggested the necessity of consensus on the disagreement between the support policy and the planning period. Third, the government proposed a revision to the mandatory regulation (that is, it should be done) under the provisions set by law. Finally, we proposed a plan to designate 'Multicultural Family Day' or to designate it with other family days. As the globalization of the members of each country, which has been rapidly continuing in the 21st century, it is expected that Korea will be able to welcome them and review the act and institutional devices that can be together more than ever.

This study explores the discoures of family and family policy in the legislative process of Strong Family Act. Critical discourse analysis was used. The results are follows. The Strong Family Act made family issue as a political agenda in spite of much critics. The characteristics of the family discourse in "strong family camp": 1) The emphasis on the moral principle in family 2) denial of deinstitutionalization of family 3) regarding the family problem as a moral and individual problem 4) regarding the state as managing and controling the family. The characteristics of the family discourse in "critical camp": 1) strong family discourse is related to "the family" ideology 2) regarding the family problem as a social, structural problem 3) regarding the state as subsiding, supplementing families. The characteristics of the family policy discourse in "strong family camp": 1) casual efficiency as justifying logics 2) family policy as means to recover family values 3) deunifying the family policy. On the one hand, the characteristics of the family policy discourse in "critical camp": 1) social consensus and academic discussion as justifying logics 2) regarding the family policy as a means of gender equality and strategical point of welfare state expansion. The discourse of family and family policy, especially 'Strong Family Discourse" resulted in conjugation of nationalism and neoliberalism.

The aims of this research are to grasp the supporting volition of the government as increasing multicultural family and discussing direction of the work and program for them. Therefore, this article inquired into the structure and the view through the supporting the law in 2008 and policy in 2009 of multicultural family and the contents of the work and program divided into the fields of essentiality and speciality for the multicultural family support center. As a result, this article implied three directions ; first, the practicality of contents based on the needs and requirement of multicultural family, second, the connection of multicultural family life cycle based on circumstances and resources, third, the mutual direction of effect based on promoting the character of a nation between multicultural family and others.

The study is to analyze support-related issues, particularly associated with elderly and children care, which have been a fundamental agenda of family welfare policy. We are expected for societal-level controversy on the relationship of family support and social security in the near future because of rapid increase in ageing and divorce rate. Accordingly, we need to establish social consensus on the extent to which both family support system and social support system are responsible for the life maintenance of the elderly and the children from divorced family. We also clarify the various characteristics(including scope, degree, period of time, and need/manageability) of support provided by family members. Considering the changes of family structure and population composition, the policy of supporting the old and children should go for social responsibility. Findings show that civil law and social welfare law have unclear application on the relationship between family support and social security, and contents in family support. In particular, public assistance law strongly emphasizes the principle of family support while social insurance laws provide only limited and insufficient family maintenance. The suggestions of further study on support-related issues are given in the rapidly changing society and the increasing economic instability.

본 연구는 가족체계가 청소년의 적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있었다. 조사대상은 대구시내 중.고등학교 2학년에 재학중인 청소년 443명이었고 사용된 측정도구는 가족응집성 및 적응성 척도와 청소년의 적응 정도를 알아보기 위한 불안척도 우울척도, 자아존중감척도였다. 자료분석은 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다변인변량분석 및 $Scheff\'{e}의$ 사후 검증법을 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 연구결과와 논의를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 가족체계유형에 따라 청소년의 적응정도에 차이가 있었다. 균형가족의 청소년들이 극단가족에 비해 불안과 우울을 더 적게 느끼고 자아존중감이 높아 적응을 더 잘하는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 가족응집성과 가족적응성이라는 가족체계의 두차원이 청소년의 적응정도에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요인인 것을 나타낸다고 볼 수 있으며, 청소년이 건전하게 적응할수 있도록 하기 위해서는 가족체계가 높은 응집성과 적응성으로 기능할 것이 요구된다고 하겠다.
