A Technic to Improve and Implement Virtual Environment Grid Information in War-game Model (워게임모델의 가상환경격자정보 개선과 구축 기법)

  • We studied on a technic to improve and implement the virtual environment grid information in the war-game model. The virtual environment data are categorized into ground, sea, and air, and separatedly managed and operated. The data are implemented and managed in the geographical information and topography type information. The geographical information, including grid location coordinate and sea level, are managed in computer files as a grid type. We improved the representation of the sea level by mapping the sea level value of the grid information file into GCV and suggested the dynamic virtual environment implementation technic for the region with the large range of tide. In the experiments, we could know that it is possible to adopt the dynamic virtual environment to the war-game model.

  • In this paper, we design and implement a virtual environment which forms the basis of constructing a virtual world in a systematic fashion. Though virtual environments have been developed in several systems using the virtual reality, they are designed without a systematic method of constructing. In our framework, a virtual environment is structured in six layers according to their functions and ranges based on a classification of environmental factors of which the real world is composed. These layers compose a universal environment in our virtual world by operating independently and exchanging information with one another periodically. The designed environment shows that it Can provide diverse real life situations and is easily extensible to enhance its functionalities. We present effective design schemes for several important environmental factors. We demonstrate viability of our framework through implementing a plausible virtual world based on the proposed schemes.

  • Durability performance evaluation technology using Virtual Testing Method is a new concept of a vehicle design, which can reduce the automotive components design period and cost. In this paper, the fatigue life of an aluminum knuckle of a passenger car is evaluated using virtual testing method. The flexible multibody dynamic model of a front half car module is generated and solved with service loads which are measured from Belgian roads. Using a multibody dynamic analysis software, the flexible multibody dynamic simulation of a half car model is carried out and the dynamic stress profile of an aluminum knuckle is acquired. The stress profile is exported to a fatigue analysis software and durability performance of an aluminum knuckle is evaluated.

  • 단청의 열화현상에 대한 연구는 주로 건축재로서의 내구성 향상에 초점을 두고 연구가 진행되고 있으나 본 연구는 가상유적지 재현을 위해 가상 건축물의 사실감을 높이기 위한 방안으로서 열화현상을 분석하고 가시화 하는데 초점을 두었다. 이를 위해 먼저, 전통건축에 나타나는 단청의 열화과정을 인간이 인지하는 색채감의 변화에 초점을 두고 연구를 진행한다. 우리나라 단청에서 사용된 안료를 살펴보고 문화재관리청에서 선정한 무기안료와 유기안료를 중심으로 내후성 시험을 통해 안료의 열화현상을 분석한다. 단청의 열화를 크게 색변과 박리 현상으로 나누어 촉진내후성시험기를 통해 얻어진 결과를 토대로 목조 전통건축의 열화현상을 분석한다.

Virtual Flutter Test of a Spanwise Curved Wing Using CFD/CSD Integrated Coupling Method (CFD/CSD 통합 연계기법을 이용한 횡방향 곡률이 있는 날개의 가상 플러터 시험)

  • The coupled time-integration method with a staggered algorithm based on computational structural dynamics (CSD), finite element method (FEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been developed in order to demonstrate physical vibration phenomena due to dynamic aeroelastic excitations. Virtual flutter tests for the spanwise curved ing model have been effectively conducted using the present advanced computational method with high speed parallel processing technique. In addition, the present system can simultaneously give a recorded data file to generate virtual animation for the flutter safety test. The results for virtual flutter test are compared with the experimental data of wind tunnel test. It is shown from the results that the effect of spanwise curvature have a tendency to decrease the flutter dynamic pressure for the same flight condition.

  • 본 논문에서는 사이버 교육의 시스템적 본질을 이해할 수 있도록 사이버교육시스템의 구축 현황을 살펴보고, 실제 JAVA환경(서블릿)에서 평가지원기능을 제공하는 Web Lecture Authoring Architecture를 설계 하였다. 사이버교육 시스템이 제공하는 기능은 크게 과목관리기능, 문제관리기능. 시험관리기능, 성적평가관리기능, 학생관리기능으로 분류할 수 있으며 기존의 사이버 교육 시스템 구축사례에 미흡한 문제은행기능 및 가상시험 기능을 포함하고 있다. Web Lecture Authoring Architecture는 웹을 기반으로 구축하였으며 C/S 환경에서 구축된 시스템과는 달리 Client에 별도의 시스템을 설치할 필요 없이 웹 브라우저만으로 인터넷에서 사이버교육을 제공할 수 있도록 설계하였다는데 의의를 가지고 있다.

  • Recently, the virtual test techniques using computer simulation play an important part in the vehicle development procedures in order to reduce the development time and cost by replacing the physical prototypes of the vehicle components or systems with the virtual prototypes. In this paper, virtual durability test procedures for the vehicle suspension module have been developed. Virtual durability test consists of dynamic simulation computing load history of suspension components, fatigue analysis computing the life of components. A vehicle suspension module for dynamic simulation are developed and validated by comparison with the measured data obtained from the field vehicle test. And on the basis of the validated vehicle suspension model, fatigue analysis has been performed for the virtual durability design of the suspension components.

맞춤형 디지털 항로표지 서비스 제공 방안 연구

  • 항해 안전 강화 및 자율운항선박 대응을 위하여 디지털 항로표지 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 해양 상황 및 선박 맞춤의 디지털 항로표지 서비스 연구를 수행하였다. 선박 맞춤의 항로표지 생성을 위한 해양 상황 정보 및 선박 위치 정보 수집 방법과 서버와 단말간의 디지털 항로표지 정보 제공 방안이 요구된다. 이러한 요구에 따라 서비스 표준 및 부처의 시스템을 활용하여 서비스를 제공하는 방법에 대하여 검토하였다. 국립해양측위정보원에서는 GICOMS에서 제공하는 선박 및 항로표지 정보를 수집하고 있으며, 이 시스템과 연동하여 디지탈 항로표지를 생성을 수행할 수있다. 또한 서비스 제공을 위하여 AIS 및 S-100 기반의 서비스 제공 표준이 있으며, 이 표준을 활용하여 서비스 제공이 가능할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 서비스 제공을 위한 시스템을 제안하였으며, 실내 시험을 통하여 기능을 점검하였다. 추후 실외시험을 통하여 실제 시스템 구성 운영을 검증하며, GICOMS 연동의 가상 항로표지 방송 시스템을 구성하여 AIS 서비스 제공 방안에 대하여 검토할 예정이다.

Considerations for Virtual Vehicle Crash Test (자동차 가상충돌시험을 위한 고려사항)

  • Computer simulation significantly reduces the high costs associated with actual crash tests and is expanding due to its ability to analyze various test results quantitatively that are difficult to measure in real tests. Research on evaluation technologies is limited according to the finite element analysis, which aims to replace structural verification testing. In this study, considerations for virtual crash tests were derived, and the validity of the zero-energy mode (hourglass mode) was analyzed as part of the considerations for validating the results of vehicle crash simulations. The study reflects on the considerations for virtual crash tests and the variation in hourglass coefficient values affects the occurrence of the hourglass mode. As the hourglass coefficient changes, the maximum hourglass energy reaches over 5% of the maximum internal energy, necessitating a conservative review. A comprehensive study of the maximum hourglass energy is required, considering additional analysis results for various models and collision conditions.
