  • 본 논문은 기존의 가상현실을 이용하여 환경교육용 프로그램과의 차별성을 두어 단순히 가상현실을 이용한 전통문화 체험학습이 아닌, 조선시대의 자연환경과 주거환경 모습을 가상현실로 재현하고 각계 전문가의 고증을 통해 작성된 시나리오를 바탕으로 사용자 스스로 현재의 자연환경 변화의 모습과 조선시대의 환경변화 모습을 비교 학습하고 원인과 해결방안을 모색 할 수 있는 환경교육용 가상체험 프로그램을 제작하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • This paper suggests a multimodal interface control module which allows a student to naturally interact with educational contents in virtual environment. The suggested module recognizes a user's motion when he/she interacts with virtual environment and then conveys the user's motion to the virtual environment via wireless communication. Futhermore, a haptic actuator is incorporated into the proposed module in order to create haptic information. Due to the proposed module, a user can haptically sense the virtual object as if the virtual object is exists in real world.

  • As digital technologies have strongly impacted the whole social aspects, so museum recently emerging as an alternative or supplementary learning environment to school, after active adoption to the technologies, gave birth to museum websites called 'Virtual Museums' which, then, result in enhancing the educational roles and functions of physical museum. In this context, this study aimed to review the process of how virtual museum has been developed in terms of its educational roles and characteristics in accordance with the evolutionary development of web. Especially, the analysis of the status quo of the current virtual museums in both Korea and overseas presented specific aspects of the educational elements and roles embedded in virtual museum which have been emphasized in many related research and studies. The categories of the roles of the virtual museum, as a result, were classified into 'digital archive,' 'learning resources,' and 'communigy,' each of which were, then, further elaborated for its individual educational uses. Eventually this study purposed to expand the public awareness and knowledge of virtual museum as the alternative online learning environments needed in the 21st century.

  • In this thesis. we present the cyber lecture system based on XML that uses the communication network as the 100Mbps LAN. The system was designed to analysis the existing cyber lecture system and its details arid to examine web system architecture and XML 3-tier model The result of the study consists of he cyber lecture system based on XML developed on 100Mbps LAN to improve method of the cyber lecture system by using ma 3-tier model arid utilisation of web interface to offer handiness of the cyber lecture system.

A Study on the Influence and Re-participation behavior of Marine Safety Virtual Reality Experience Education on the Consciousness of Marine Safety (해양안전 가상현실 체험교육의 효과성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between consciousness of marine safety, re-participation behavior of marine safety virtual reality experience education. For the study, participants in marine safety virtual reality experience education were surveyed from July to August 2020. Specifically, all participants were NakDanbo Water leisure center and Song-do Marine leisure center. A total of 300 participants were sampled using convenience sampling method, but 253 were finally used in the data analysis excepting incomplete or faithless questionnaires. the data analysis was conducted through frequency analysis, Cronbach's alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), correlation analysis, simple and Multiple regression analysis using SPSS 20.0. The results are as follows. Firstly, participants in marine safety virtual reality experience education positive impact on had a significant effect on consciousness of marine safety. Secondly, participants in marine safety virtual reality experience education positive impact on had a significant effect on re-participation behavior intention. Lastly, consciousness of marine safety had positive effects on re-participation behavior intention.

  • 컴퓨터 분야에서 급속히 발달하고 있는 새로운 기술들은 컴퓨터 분야에서뿐만 아니라 모든 학문 분야에 응용이 되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 교육 분야는 컴퓨터 신기술의 응용으로 인한 효과를 뚜렷하게 볼 수 있는 대표적인 분야이다. 이 논문은 원격 교육 시스템 기반을 구축하기 위한 일련의 연구의 한 부분으로써, 새로이 개발된 컴퓨터 기술특이 현 가상 교육 시스템과 어떻게 융합되어 더 나은 가상 교육 시스템을 구축한 것인가를 제시한다. 아울러 원격 교육 과정을 위한 기능들을 서술하고, 대구대학교에서 실험적으로 운영하여 얻은 실험결과를 제시하고자 한다.

Education Effect of a Web-based Virtual Laboratory for Digital Logic Circuits (웹기반 디지털 논리회로 가상실험실의 교육효과)

  • In this paper, we have investigated the education effect of a web-based virtual laboratory for digital logic circuits which consists of multimedia contents about the usages of equipments for logic circuit experiments and the experimental logic circuits. In case of the engineering experiment of the lower grades in universities, preunderstanding about the usages of experimental equipments and the experimental circuits is necessary for the learners to conduct the experiments well. But it is impossible for the learners to have access to the real experimental equipments earlier due to the lack of equipments and the difficulty in management of the equipments. We have implemented the digital logic circuit virtual laboratory which provides the same experimental environment as a real experimental lab, and the learner can conduct the same experiments as the real ones before the real laboratory class. The learners using the laboratory have reduced the experiment completion time by the average of about 8.2% during a term, compared with the learners not using the lab.

  • Internet accelerates the speed of Information society causing changes the method and purpose of education. The word "life-long learning" is no longer a new tenn for many of the world citizens, and they ask for a system to fulfill their need to learn. Information communication technology enables and provides technical base for such needs. Web based cyber education, especially, is known to be an important and alternative instructional method to mediate learning at a distance. At the present, however, with the breakneck pace of growth and interests on Web-based distance education, there are no guidelines provided to assure the quality. In this study, we have identified guiding principles to design and develop quality assurance model for effective distance education. This is critical, especially in Korea, since 9 distance. education institutions have been accredited to offer degree programs starting 2001 spring semester. Using this model, distance education providers and consumers can develop or select effective on-line courses.
