This study gropes for historical geographic approach to regional research in view of new regional geography. A geographical methodology in regional geography pursues the dialectics of concrete totalities. Regional researches think that social processes interact with the uniqueness of regional characteristics and that region is a historical unit which changes dynamically. Time in regional changes is understood in terms of a dialectics of continuity and break. Transition from feudalism to capitalism is the important period which is captured continuity and break simultaneously. Research objects in this research are money, market and city. Money symbolizes transition to capitalism, and market and city have the importance in transition from feudalism to capitalism In Korea, historical geographic approach to money, market and city both in the era of opening ports and in the Japanese colonial times in Korea are important objects in regional geography. Colonial urban research in view of money and market from the era of opening ports to the Japanese colonial times in Korea is a theme which includes a dialectic of concrete totalities in historical geographic approach in regional geography.

This work began with the aim of examining the history of the concept "cultural property" that is expected to disappear, and the main subject of research was the history that preceded the spread of this notion throughout society. The phrase "cultural property" first appeared in the 1920s, and was used in various fields such as literature, history, music, and philosophy in the context of cultural resources. Until immediately following liberation from the Japanese colonial era, the meaning of cultural assets was widely applied in the range of "cultural resources," and during this period, it was often used to help supplant the reality and history of Japanese occupation. Immediately after the Korean War, it was also employed for the purpose of 'restoration of cultural resources through war'. Recognition of cultural property directly influenced by Japan's Cultural Heritage Protection Act has occurred since 1950s. In the early 1960s, the enactment of various laws related to cultural properties and the establishment of the Cultural Heritage Administration caused the meaning of cultural property to be limited to 'cultural heritage'. In this way, the definition of state-led cultural property has continued to apply to this day. It has not been clearly confirmed whether the concept of cultural properties was imported from Japan through means such as the Cultural Heritage Protection Act. Cases in which several Japanese students endorsed the concept of cultural property within Korea serve to increase the likelihood that the concept was indeed imported from Japan. However, "coined language using multiple Chinese characters," "the phenomenon of cultural complex words in the 1920s,", and "cases of non-Japanese international students using the concept of cultural property" also open up the possibility of their own occurrence. Apart from the general importance of the concept of cultural property, intellectuals at the time used this concept to promote internal development and the overcoming of colonial Joseon. In this research, it was confirmed that the conceptual word cultural property was older and had a wider history than the general perception had indicated previously. The history of the conceptual term "cultural property" may appear to be more than 60 years old based on the enactment of the Cultural Heritage Protection Act, but in fact it is nearly 100 years old when traced back to on 1925, as established here. In general, the creation and disappearance of terms may proceed naturally with social change, but such terms may alternatively be created or erased through national policy. Identifying the origins of a phrase that is about to disappear represents a significant task for purposes of establishing its historical meaning.

보존 처리된 유물은 경기도 하남시의 발굴현장에서 수습된 도토기로, 박물관의 소장유물로써 지역사(地域史)의 한 단면을 보여줄 수 있는 자료로 활용 가능성이 있을 것으로 판단되었고, 유물의 상태를 고려한 보존처리작업이 계획되었다. 보존처리작업은 가역성(可逆性)과 경제성에 중점을 두어, 박물관에서 이미 책정된 보존처리예산의 한도 내에서 선택할 수 있는 알맞은 약품과 재료를 선택하여, 복원작업이 필요한 부위 역시 추후 재처리작업이 필요할 때 해체가 용이한 기법을 이용하였다.

botulinum toxin type A는 anaerobic bacterium clostridium botulinum에서 유래된 poly peptide neurotoxin으로서 사시, 안면연축, 수부다한증등에 치료목적으로 안정적으로 사용되어오다 최근에는 이마주름, 눈가주름등 주름살의 개선 목적으로 널리 사용되어 오고있다. 특히 턱얼굴외과 영역에서는 이러한 주름살의 개선이외에도 사각턱, 안면 신경의 이상으로 인한 안면 비대칭등 적용범위가 상당히 넓고 치료효과도 만족할 만하다고 하겠다. 이에 턱얼굴외과의사 나아가 치과의사들의 많은 사용을 기대하여 botulinum toxin 사용의 역사적 배경, 약리 및 작용기전, 가능한 합병증, 턱얼굴영역에서의 적용가능성 등에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

한국만화 100년을 조망하는 대규모 기획전시 '만화-한국만화100년'전이 한국만화100주년 위원회(위원장 박재동.김동하.이동수.이홍우)와 국립현대미술관(관장 배순훈) 공동 주최로 국립현대미술관에서 오는 8월 23일까지 개최된다. 이번 전시는 굴곡진 한국 근 현대사와 함께 한 '한국만화 100년의 역사', 풍성한 문화콘텐츠로 발전을 거듭해온 '장르만화', 만화의 예술적 가능성을 살펴본 '크로스오버-미술과 만화의 경계 너머' 등 세 구역으로 나뉘어 진행된다. 또한 한국만화의 각 시대를 대표하는 250여명의 작품 1500여점, 만화적 감성과 상상력으로 작업하는 현대미술작품 60여점이 전시되고 있다.

아날로그 업체에서 디지털업체로 변신 중인 필름 메이커 이스트만 코닥의 주식 폭락은 사진관련 업계에 커다란 충격과 변화를 예고하고 있다. 디지털카메라의 보급은 필름카메라의 쇠퇴와 더불어 사진인쇄 문화에도 커다란 영향을 끼치고 있다. 인터넷을 이용한 디지털이미지 커뮤니케이션은 생일, 졸업, 입학 등 특별한 날에만 촬영하던 개인의 역사를 일상화시켰다. 이는 기존 사진영역을 확장시켰을 뿐만 아니라 사진 촬영 후 인쇄라는 단순명제를 벗어나 또 다른 변화를 촉진하고 있는 것이다. 디지털카메라와 더불어 카메라 폰의 놀라운 보급력은‘손 안의 이미지세상’을 실현시키며 디지털사진의 무한한 가능성을 열었다. 이제 관련 업계의 새로운 사진인쇄문화 정착을 위한 다양한 노력이 요구된다. 이에 본지에서는 인화지 시장 현황 및 소비자의 소비심리, 향 후 전망을 알아보았다.

컴퓨터 네트워크를 지원하는 통신기술에 대해서 하드웨어 기술이나 통신 프로토콜을 중심으로 그 발전의 역사를 되돌아 본다. 또한 1980년대 후반 부터의 통신네트워크 발전과정을 전화망과 네트워크를 대비하는 형식으로 더듬어 최신의 기술동향을 근거로, 그것들이 앞으로 어떠한 발전을 하는지를 대담하게 예상해 본다. 하드웨어 기술에는 특히 통신용량의 비약적인 확대와 통신품질의 향상을 가져온 광통신 기술에 착안해서 최신의 기술동향을 상세하게 기술함과 동시에 광기술이나 모바일 기술이 지금까지 배양해온 네트워킹 기술과 밀접하게 융합하는 것에 의해서 커다란 패러다임의 변화가 일어날 가능성이 있다는 것을 말한다.

식물 발효식품은 발효대상이 되는 식물의 기능성에 발효미생물의 기능성, 또는 기타 발효산물의 기능성이 가미된 것으로 그 범위는 대단히 넓다. 그러나, 국내에 소개된 것은 복합야채를 착즙하여 mixed culture한 제품, 알로에즙을 이용한 발효제품, 각종 과육 및 야채의 혼합발효제품 등 10여가지 품목이 유통될 뿐이다. 이러한 시점에서 식물발효식품의 역사, 식물엑기스 발효식품의 영양학적 중요성, 각종 식물엑기스의 유용성분 및 앞으로의 가능성을 예측해 보고자 한다.

인간은 역사적으로 의식주와 같은 기본적 생존과는 무관한 '아름다움'을 왜 그토록 열렬히 추구해 왔는가\ulcorner 본 논문은 이러한 문제의 해답을 찾고자 실험미학자인 벌라인 (Berlyne)의 이론을 중심으로 미적 반응에 관한 고찰을 하였으며 다음의 사항을 다루고 있다. 1) 미적 반응을 '자극-반응'의 동적 과정으로서 이해하고 이러한 종적 과정의 구조적 측면을 고찰하였다. 2) 미적 반응의 심리생물학적 작용을 고찰하였다. 3) 미적 반응을 초래하는 자극의 특성을 고찰하였다. 4) 미적 반응의 하나인 시각적 선호에 관한 기존의 연구를 검토하였으며, 시각자원연구에의 응용 가능성이 높음을 고찰하였다.

시맨틱 웹의 발전과 더불어 소셜 네트워크 자동 구축에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 온톨로지를 기반의 소셜 정보 추출에 대한 방법을 다루고 있으며, 특히, 이에 필요한 온톨로지 모델링, 사람들 사이의 관계 추출을 위한 패턴 정의에 대해 기술하고 있다. 온톨로지와 패턴을 기반으로 역사적 인물들의 친족관계를 파악함으로써 소설 정보의 추출에 대한 가능성을 미리 짐작해 본다.
