Changes in Riboflavin and Ascorbic Acid Content during Ripening of Kimchi (절임조건별(條件別) 배추에 의한 김치의 숙성중(熟成中) Riboflavin과 Ascorbic Acid의 함량변화(含量變化))

  • For the convenience of transportation and improvement of the utility of raw chinese cabbage during harvest season, the condition of pretreatment for the raw chinese cabbage with pickle has been examined by preserving for one to ten days. The changes in the content of riboflavin and ascorbic acid in kimchi (pickled-seasoned chinese cabbage), which was manufactured by using the pickled cabbage as a main raw material, along with ginger, garlic, red pepper powder, rad-dish and fermented shrimp as seasonings, during ripening were investigated with specially referred to palatability. The yield of the pickled cabbage compared to the raw cabbage after treating with pickle was 62 to 65% in volume and 15 to 42% in weight. After 10 days of pickling of the chinese cabbage, one-third of total ascorbic acid was diminished but no change in riboflavin content was observed. During ripening of kimchi, riboflavin content in kimchi processed with the pickled cabbage has not been changed compared to the content in convention- ally made kimchi, however, slight decrease in ascorbic acid content in the kimchi processed with the pickled cabbage was as certained. The result of organoleptic test showed that the kimchi processed with the pickled cabbage became inferior to the conventionally made kimchi with the days of ripening.

Sorption Characteristics of Binary Mixture of Corn Starch- Soy Protein Isolates in Plastic film Packaging (Plastic필름 포장에 따른 옥수수 전분과 분리 대두단백질의 이성분 혼합물의 흡습특성)

  • Sorption properties of corn starch(CS) and Soy protein isolates(SPI) in plastic films packaging were investigates for binary system. The mixture were sealed in plastic films of low density polyethylene(LDPE), oriented polypropylene(OPP) and LDPE/OPP coated film and packaging effect on the changes of moisture sorption during storage at $40^{\circ}C$ were studied. The following results were obtained. The water vapor permeability of material films was $32.6g/m^2/24hrs(below\;g)$ for 0.02mm LDPE film, 14.01g for 0.04mm LDPE film, 7.30g for 0.02mm OPP film, 3.37g for 0.04mm OPP film and 4.869 for 0.02mm LDPE/0.02 mm OPP confine film at $40^{\cire}C$ 90%RH, therefore the OPP film was more effective than LDPE film on the resistance of relative humidity. And the OPP film packaging sealed mixture of food samples was also more elective then LDPE film, having same thickness for increase of water vapor permeability during storage at $40^{\cire}C$. A general increase in sorption rate was found more in SPI than CS in the packaged mixtures.

  • 도메인에 대한 전문 지식 획득(Acquisition of expert knowlegde)은 지식 제공자인 인간 전문가에 의존한다. 도메인이 복잡해 질수록 인간 전문가로부터 관련된 모든 지식을 획득하기란 어렵다. 이런 지식 획득의 어려움을 부분 흑은 완전 자동화된 지식 획득 시스템을 통해 해결하려는 많은 연구가 있어 왔다. 그러나 지식 획득을 위한 여러 시도들은 지식 제공자의 촛점이 도메인이 아닌 표현 구조나 도구- representation environment -에 보다 치우치게 하여, 잘못된 지식을 획득하게 하거나 주요지식이 생략되는 경우를 보이기도 한다. 또한 정적인 관계(relationship)에 의해서만 지식(Static Knowledge)을 생성하므로 시간흐름에 따라변화하는 지식을 나타내기는 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션을 통한 자동 지식 획득(Simulation Based automatic Knowledge Acquisition) 방법을 제시한다. 이 방법은 1) 도메인에 관한 초기 인과관계 정보를 입력 받고, 2) 입력된 정보를 일정한 프레임에 따라 구조화 시켜 경험 베이스를 구성하고 이를 탐색하여 도메인과 관련된 확장된 정보를 얻은 후, 3) 위의1),2)를 통해 얻어진 정보를 분석하여 주어지는 입력에 대해 다양한 출력을 낼 수 있는 시뮬레이션 모델을 생성한다. 이 모델은 다음 단계의 지식 생성을 위한 수단(resource)이 되며, 구간값과 같은 불확실한 정보를 포함할 수 있는 구조이다. 마지막으로 4) 생성된 모델을 시뮬레이션하여 결과로 생성된 지식을 획득한다. 위의 과정에서, 지식획득을 위한 수단인 시뮬레이션 모델이 지식 제공자의 개입 없이 자동 생성됨에 따라, 지식 제공자는 도메인 관련 지식 그 자체에 집중할 수 있으며, 생성된 모델을 시뮬레이션한 결과에 의해 지식을 생성함으로써 동적인 지식이 얻어질 수 있다. DEVS 모델에 대한 타당성 검사 방법을 고찰하고 그 문제점에 대하여 자세히 설명한다. DEVS 모델의 타당성 검사에 이용하는 SPN 모델에 대한 개념과 DEVS 모델과 행위적으로 동등한 SNP 모델로 변환을 위한 관점을 제조명하다. 동일한 관점에서 두 모델의 상태표현이 같도록 DEVS 모델이 SPN 모델로 표현됨을 보이는 변환이론을 제시하고 변환이론을 바탕으로 모델 변환과정을 제시한다. 모델 변환이론과 변환고정을 기본으로 타당성 검사를 위한 새로운 동질함수(homogeneous function)를 정의하고 이와 함께 SPN 모델의 특성을 이용하여 DEVS 모델에 대한 타당성 검사 방법을 새롭게 제안한다. 에탄올투여로 증가된 유리기 해독계 효소인 GSH-Px활성을 큰 폭으로 감소시키고 에탄올투여로 감소된 비효소적 항산화작용을 나타내는 GSH함량을 다량 증가시킴으로서 지질과산화물에 대한 방어력이 증가되어 나타난 결과로 여겨지며, 또한 혈청중의 ALT, ALP 및 LDH활성을 유의성있게 감소시키므로서 감잎 phenolic compounds가 에탄올에 의한 간세포 손상에 대한 해독 및 보호작용이 있는 것으로 사료된다.반적으로 홍삼 제조시 내공의 발생은 제조공정에서 나타나는 경우가 많으며, 내백의 경우는 홍삼으로 가공되면서 발생하는 경우가 있고, 인삼이 성장될 때 부분적인 영양상태의 불충분이나 기후 등에 따른 영향을 받을 수 있기 때문에 앞으로 이에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어져야할 것으로 판단된다.태에도 불구하고 [-wh]의미의 겹의문사는 병렬적 관계의 합성어가 아니라 내부구조를 지니지 않은 단순한 단어(minimal $X^{0}$ elements)로 가정한다. 즉, [+wh] 의미의 겹의문사는 동일한 구성요 소를 지닌 병렬적 합성어([$[W1]_{XO-}$ $[W1]_{XO}$ ]$

  • MOLIT (Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport) authorized Indoor Spatial Information as Basic spatial information in 2013. It became a legal evidence for constructing and managing Indoor Spatial Information. Although it has a little advantage to utilize as service level that Indoor Spatial Information by laser scan or measurement, it has a lot of problems such as consuming many resources, requiring additional progresses for inputting Object Information. In conclusion, it is inefficient to utilize for the maintenance and domestic AEC/FM field. The purposes of this study is to output Indoor Spatial Information by operating IFC model which based on open BIM and to improve availability of Indoor Spatial Information with data visualization. The open-sources of IFC Exporter, a inner program of Revit (Autodesk Inc), is used to output Indoor Spatial Information. Directs 3D Library is also operated to visualize Indoor Spatial Information. It is possible to inter-operate between XML format and the objects of Indoor Spatial Information. It can be utilized in various field as well. For example COBie linkage in facility management, construction of geo-database using air-photogrammetry of UAV (Unmaned Areal Vehicle), the simulation of large-scale military operations and the simulation of large-scale evacuation. The method that is purposed in this study has outstanding advantages such as conformance with national spatial information policy, high level of interoperability as indoor spatial information objects based on IFC, convenience of editing information, light level of data and simplifying progress of producing information.

Suitability of Various Domestic Wheats for Korean-Style Steamed Bread (한국형 찐빵 제조시 국내산 밀 품종의 적합성)

  • This study was to investigate the suitability of six domestic wheat cultivars for the Korean-style steamed bread made under optimal conditions. Six wheat flours milled from cultivars of Greu, Kumgang, Eunpa, Taptong Kobun, and Allgreu contained 13.8, 13.7, 13.7, 13.0, 11.7, 11.0% of protein. Control bread was made from blend (protein 10.5%) of 50% high strength and 50% low strength wheat flours milled from imported wheats. The volume of steamed bread made from Kumgang was highest followed by Eunpa, Tapdong, Kobun, Greu, control bread, Allgreu. Especially, the bread qualities of Kumgand and Kobun were superior to the control bread, showing better surface characteristics such as smoothness, glossiness, and whiteness, better shapes and desirable texture. Domestic wheat flours, having medium strength with high protein content above 13.0% were suitable for steamed bread except for Greu. Volumes of steamed bread made from domestic wheat flours were correlated with protein and ash content, flour color (L value), farinograph dough development time and stability, whereas spread ratio, total bread score and overall acceptability were correlated with farinograph dough stability It is concluded that flour quality is more important factor than protein content when domestic wheat flours are chosen for Korean-style steamed bread

  • In city, tracing of power transmission lines is difficult due to compound installation of overhead and underground lines, transposition, bad view caused by trees or big buildings. It is hard problem for electrical technician on site to trace power transformers or power lines to serve customers in 3 phase -4 wires power distribution systems. It is necessary that the correct and fast tracing method is required for load balancing among distribution lines. Old technology use to trace off-lines with high power impulse injection. Our proposed method use to trace live lines with very small power high frequency signal injection. Typical power transformers in the distribution system prevent propagating the higher frequency carrier signal. The proposed method uses the limited propagation ability to identify the power transformer to serve customers. Two end communication terminals are required to be synchronized between them for determination on electrically same phases. Challenging issue is to achieve synchronization without GPS providing synchronizing time. A novel power transformer and wire identification system is designed and implemented. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver with power-line communication module. Some experiments are conducted to verify the theoretical concepts in a big commercial building. Also some simulations are done to help and understand the concepts by using MATLAB Simulink simulator.

  • A vast amount of traffic data is produced every day from detection devices but this data includes a considerable amount of errors and missing values. Moreover, this information is periodically deleted before it could be used as important analysis information. Therefore, this paper discusses the implementation of an integrated traffic history database system that continuously stores the traffic data as a multidimensional model and increases the validity and completeness of the data via a flow of processing steps, and provides a what-if analysis function. The implemented system provides various techniques to correct errors and missing data patterns, and a what-if analysis function that enables the analysis of results under various conditions by allowing the flexible definition of various process related environment variables and combinations of the processing flows. Such what-if analysis functions dramatically increase the usability of traffic data but are not provided by other traffic data systems. Experimantal results for cleaning the traffic history data showed that it provides superior performance in terms of validity and completeness.

Shape Optimization of Three-Way Reversing Valve for Cavitation Reduction (3 방향 절환밸브의 공동현상 저감을 위한 형상최적화)

  • A pair of two-way valves typically is used in automotive washing machines, where the water flow direction is frequently reversed and highly pressurized clean water is sprayed to remove the oil and dirt remaining on machined engine and transmission blocks. Although this valve system has been widely used because of its competitive price, its application is sometimes restricted by surging effects, such as pressure ripples occurring in rapid changes in water flow caused by inaccurate valve control. As an alternative, one three-way reversing valve can replace the valve system because it provides rapid and accurate changes to the water flow direction without any precise control device. However, a cavitation effect occurs because of the complicated bottom plug shape of the valve. In this study, the cavitation index and percent of cavitation (POC) were introduced to numerically evaluate fluid flows via computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. To reduce the cavitation effect generated by the bottom plug, the optimal shape design was carried out through a parametric study, in which a simple computer-aided engineering (CAE) model was applied to avoid time-consuming CFD analysis and difficulties in achieving convergence. The optimal shape design process using full factorial design of experiments (DOEs) and an artificial neural network meta-model yielded the optimal waist and tail length of the bottom plug with a POC value of less than 30%, which meets the requirement of no cavitation occurrence. The optimal waist length, tail length and POC value were found to 6.42 mm, 6.96 mm and 27%, respectively.

  • 가입자가 B-ISDN(Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network) 서비스에 대한 shb은 수준의 품질 및 안정적인 서비스 제공을 요구함에 따라, 이러한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) 교환기에 대한 신뢰성 설계의 중요성은 증가하 고 있다. 교환기의 중요한 신뢰성 성능 척도 중의 하나인 연결 절단율 (Cutoff connection rate)은 총 연결시간 동안 절단된 연결수로 정의되며, 연결 절단은 호 설정 (Call setup) 단 계를 지나 서비스 중인 연결이 사용자의 요구가 아닌 시스템의 고장으로 종료될 때 발생한 다. 연결 절단율 추정 문제는 기존의 신뢰도 또는 가용도 예측을 위한 시뮬레이션과는 달리 시스템 구성 유니트들의 고장율, 수리율, 그리고 요구된 연결의 트래픽 특성 부분이 혼합된 문제이다. 따라서, B-ISDN 서비스의 중요한 특징인 다양한 트래픽 특성과 시스템의 구성 (Configuration)을 고려하여 연결 절단율을 해석적인 방법을 통하여 추정하는 데네는 어려 움이 있으며 시뮬레이션에 의한 방법이 적절하다. 본 고에서는 B-ISDN 서비스의 트래픽 특 성과 ATM 교환기의 시스템 구성 및 신뢰도 데이터로부터 시스템의 연결 절단율을 추정하 기 위한 시뮬레이터의 기능 및 구조, 시뮬레이션 수행 결과 등을 제시한다. 시뮬레이터는 AweSim 시뮬레이션과 CUser Written Code를 사용하여 개발하였다. 시뮬레이터의 구성 모듈은 크게 호 도착 모듈, 연결 제어 및 자원 할당 모듈, 유니트 고장 및 수리 모듈, 통계 량 수집 모듈 등으로 구성된다. 개발된 시뮬레이터는 B-ISDN 트래픽 파라메터와 연결 절단 율의 상호 관계 규명 및 시스템 설계 대안 (Design alternatives)에 대한 비교/평가에 활용 된다., 수중생물의 경우는 특히 수온, 수량 영양원등이다.(중략). 본 연구의 접근방법으로는 ASRS의 개념적인 Reference Model을 수립하고 이 Reference Model에 대한 Formal Model로 DEVS(Discrete Event System Specification)을 이용하여 시스템을 Modeling하였다. 이의 Computer Simulation을 위하여 DEVS형식론 환경에서의 Simulation Language인 DEVSim ++ⓒ를 이용하여 시스템을 구현하였다.. 실형 결과로는 먼저 선형 상미분방정식의 예로 mass-damper-spring system, 비선형 상미분방정식의 예로는 van der Pol 방정식, 연립 상미분방정식의 예로는 mixing tank problem 등을 보였으며, 그의 공학에서 일어나는 여러 가지 문제들도 다루었다.화물에 대한 방어력이 증가되어 나타난 결과로 여겨지며, 또한 혈청중의 ALT, ALP 및 LDH활성을 유의성있게 감소시키므로서 감잎 phenolic compounds가 에탄올에 의한 간세포 손상에 대한 해독 및 보호작용이 있는 것으로 사료된다.반적으로 홍삼 제조시 내공의 발생은 제조공정에서 나타나는 경우가 많으며, 내백의 경우는 홍삼으로 가공되면서 발생하는 경우가 있고, 인삼이 성장될 때 부분적인 영양상태의 불충분이나 기후 등에 따른 영향을 받을 수 있기 때문에 앞으로 이에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어져야할 것으로 판단된다.태에도 불구하고 [-wh]의미의 겹의문사는 병렬적 관계의 합성어가 아니라 내부구조를 지니지 않은 단순한 단어(minimal $X^{0}$ elements)로 가정한다. 즉, [+wh] 의미의 겹의문사는 동일한 구성요 소를 지닌 병렬적 합성어([$[W1]_{XO-}$ $[W1]_{XO}$ ]$_{XO}$

Enzyme treatment for clarification of spoiled oriental melon juice (참외 저급과 주스의 청징화를 위한 효소처리 조건)

  • In Gyeongsangbuk-do seongju area, hundreds of tons of spoiled oriental melon are harvested annually. Therefore, ways to prevent such spoilage are needed. This study was conducted to investigate the quality characteristics of spoiled oriental melon juice after enzyme treatment for the production of oriental melon concentrate. The treatment of the oriental melon juice with three kinds of enzymes with variable concentrations showed the following results. PECE(1), which was compounded pectinase and cellulase at 0.01% (v/v), gave the melon a 0.16 brown color and 0.01 turbidity, and the highest L value of 97.00. The detected free sugar contents were fructose, glucose and sucrose, with the amount of sucrose the highest at roughly 4,000 mg%. The mixture of different enzyme treatments resulted in a 0.15 brown color and 0.01 turbidity at 60 minutes, and the L value was high at 97.25. The enzyme treatment temperatures of $50^{\circ}C$ and $60^{\circ}C$ yielded a low-level brown color and low turbidity, but the L values were high at $60^{\circ}C$ and $70^{\circ}C$. These results showed that 0.01% (v/v) mixing enzyme, i.e., pectinase and cellulose compounded at $60^{\circ}C$ for 60 min, must be used for the production of oriental melon concentrate.
