오늘날 우리사회에서는 유비쿼터스를 비롯한 정보기술의 급격한 발전에 따라 GIS를 통하여 누구나 일장 속에서 직접 지리정보를 활용할 수 있게 되면서 양질의 지리정보에 대하여 관심을 보이는 편이다. 본 연구에서 다루고자하는 지리정보는 일반시민의 생활과 가장 밀접하고 친숙한 형태의 정보 중 하나이며, 정보로서의 활용도가 매우 높다. 하지만 아직까지 지리정보 데이터베이스 서비스 품질 평가에 주안점을 둔 평가모델이나 평가차원을 도출해보려는 시도에 대한 선행연구가제대로 된 적이 없다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지리정보 데이터베이스 서비스 경우에 서비스품질에 핵심적인 속성들이 무엇인지, 고객만족에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 데이터베이스 서비스 품질속성은 무엇인지 알아보고자 한다. 또한 고객의 만족을 실현할 수 있기 위해서는 데이터베이스 서비스 품질속성들이 각각 어떤 수준으로 제공되어야 할 것인가 라는 문제를 컨조인트 분석을 통해 해결해 보고자 한다.

지리 정보와 속성 정보를 바탕으로 사용자에게 다양한 분석 기능을 제공하는 인터넷 지리정보시스템은 지리정보서비스 사용자 층을 더욱 확대 시키고 있다. 그러나 이들 시스템은 개방성, 상호운용성을 지원하지 않으며 기능 및 데이터 지원 확장, 다양한 데이터 소스로의 접근 등의 어려움을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는, OGC(Open GIS Consortium)의 웹 지리정보서비스 아키텍쳐에 기반을 둔 상호운용성과 XML 기반 데이터서비스 등 개방형 웹 지리정보서비스 시스템을 설계, 구현한다. 또한, 컴포넌트 기반의 아키텍쳐를 바탕으로 단위 기능을 컴포넌트 형태로 제공함으로써 구축 비용 및 다양한 사양한 요구사항을 효율적으로 충족시킬 수 있다. 개발된 서비스 컴포넌트는 객체 지향형 모델링 툴인 UML(Unified Modeling Language)로 설계되었고, ATL/COM 과 C++ 환경에서 구축되었다. 이는 재사용성 뿐만 아니라 상호 운용성, 언어 독립성, 쉬운 개발환경 등을 제공한다.

지리정보시스템(GIS) 분야에서 3차원 가시화에 대한 요구는 점점 높아져가고 있다. 3차원으로 표현되는 GIS 정보는 현재 제공되고 있는 2차원 GIS 데이터 정보 표현의 한계를 극복할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 더 높은 가독성과 함께 표현할 수 있는 정보의 양과 형식이 다양하여 GIS의 효용가치를 더욱 증대시킬 수 있다. 따라서 공간자료(Spatial Data)의 오차한계를 극복하고, 정밀한 3차원 데이터를 효율성 있게 구축하여 유지 및 관리할 수 있는 3차원 지리정보시스템(3D GIS)의 다양한 모델들이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 부산광역시 해운대구 전역을 대상으로 3차원 수치지도를 제작하고 이를 기반으로 국내 최초의 도시 3차원 지리정보시스템(3D GIS) 구축을 목적으로 진행되며 클라이언트/서버 환경의 지리정보시스템 구조를 기반으로 하여 3차원 지리정보시스템(3D GIS)을 설계하고 구현한다.

최근 스마트폰의 보급이 급격하게 확산됨에 따라 많은 어플리케이션(앱)이 개발되어 스마트폰 사용자에게 유용한 서비스들이 제공되고 있다. 통계지리정보서비스 또한 어플리케이션을 통해 서비스되고 있으며, 현재 국내에서는 통계청에서 'S-네비게이터' 앱을 통해 제공하고 있다. 하지만 통계청에서 제공하고 있는 서비스는 단순 통계지리정보서비스만을 제공하고 있으며, 사용자 인터페이스 구조가 복잡하다는 단점이 있다. 특히 현재의 통계지리정보서비스는 사용자에게 단순한 정보만을 제공하기 때문에 복합 통계지리정보서비스 개발이 요구된다. 이 논문에서는 복합 통계지리정보서비스 제공을 위한 앱을 설계하고 구현한 결과를 보인다.

In literary works, space plays a background role, but in geography, it becomes the target of study. Space could, therefore, be a matter of common interest in literary and geographic education. "Chunhyangjeon" contains a great amount of geographic information, such as landscape, itineraries, and spatial consciousness. This information is a part of narrative development and represents the geographical situation of the late Yi-dynasty. Thus, "Chunhyangjeon" could be the common material for literary and geographic education. Using "Chunhyangjeon" as the common material, through narrative incidents, learners in a literature class can appreciate the role of geographic information in narrative development, and the same learners can, in geography class, recognize the geographic information and gather the sense of place that the characters experience. For the construction of common realm of the two subjects, it is necessary to compare the aims of two subjects and systematically ensure that the aims correspond. This systematic correspondence of aims could be the foundation for curriculum integration.

지리정보시스템(GIS)의 사용이 확대되고 있는 현재 상황에서 다양한 분야에서 구축되어 서로 다른 환경에 분산되어 있는 이질적인 지리 데이타의 공유에 대한 중요성은 더욱 증가하고 있는데, 이러한 상호운용성을 지원하기 위하여 개발된 것이 OGC의 OpenGIS이다. OGC는 다양한 분야에서 차세대 표준으로 주목받고 있는 XML을 GIS에 도입하려는 움직임으로 GML 사양을 제시하고 있다. 향후 사용이 더욱 증가하게 될 XML 문서 형태의 지리 데이타에 대한 GIS 사용자들의 접근을 허용하기 위해서 OpenGIS를 지원하는 XML 데이타 제공자의 설계 및 구현이 절실히 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 OGC의 세 가지 구현 사양 중 특히 Microsoft의 OLE/COM을 기반으로 하는 OpenGIS Simple Features Specification for OLE/COM 사양과 지리 데이타의 XML 인코딩을 위한 GML 사양을 기반으로 XML 데이타 제공자를 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 XML 데이타 제공자는 표준화된 지리 데이타 구조와 처리에 대한 인터페이스를 지원하여 상호운용성을 보장하고, XML 기술을 활용하여 XML데이타의 효율적인 분석 기능도 제공한다. 따라서 XML 데이타 제공자를 사용함으로써 표준화된 DTD를 따르는 XML 문서내의 지리 데이터를 OpenGIS를 지원하는 이질의 데이타 소스의 지리 데이타와 함께 공유할 수 있고, XML 문서의 구조를 효율적으로 검증할 수 있으며, 또한 XML 데이타에 대한 접근 및 분석이 가능하게 된다.

The purpose of this study is to derive the implications for improving 'the Geography of Korea' by analyzing the regional geographies of other countries. For this purpose, the regional geographies of eight countries are used: the United Kingdom, France, and Germany in Europe, the United States in America, Japan and China in Asia, and Turkey and Pakistan in Arab. After we select the representative regional geography for each country, its general characteristics, structure, style, and contents are analyzed. Based on the findings, implications for improving 'the Geography of Korea' are summarized in terms of the contents, style, and publication project. These implications suggest that 'the Geography of Korea' needs to be improved by explaining the regional identity in a more refined way and by attracting more readers.

Now, there are some problems to manage underground facilities in domestic. Specially, in the case of KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation), it is so difficult to manage electronic line more stably and detailedly because the geographic information and attribute information being built is not easy to be updated in the field. KEPCO officials who are accompanying management and supervision in earthwork do not have sufficient knowledge and information about GIS but they grasp the information of geography and property which coincide with the field. Therefore they have to refer their business analysis contents sufficiently for more efficient lines management in the KEPCO, but it is problem that the existing information of electronic lines management system is not. In this study, we constructed power transmission and power distribution underground facility management system for the user to manage and maintain underground facilities more easily and safely using the information of geography and property about power transmission and power distribution underground facility which have been built by KEPCO.
