Design and Validation of Low-cost Flight Control Computer for Multi-rotor UAVs (저가 하드웨어 기반 멀티로터 비행제어 컴퓨터 설계 및 검증)

  • This paper describes development and validation processes of a low-cost hardware based flight control computer designed for multi-rotor UAVs. The developed flight control computer controls multi-rotors stable and can handle complex flight missions using an integrated high-performance Linux computer. A complementary filter generates a navigation solution with 500 Hz, and a proposed observer significantly reduces measurement noise. A control algorithm utilizes a feed-forward term computed by a three-dimensional curve fitting method, and it increases tracking performance. The developed flight control system has been fully tested through several test flights, and it can apply to real flight environments.

  • 가상현실 기술을 이용한 컴퓨터 지원 교육훈련 시스템 (VR-CATS: Virtual Reality based Computer Assisted Training System) 개발에 대한 연구를 전력연구원에서는 계속 수행해 왔다. 본 논문에서는 New VR-CATS (울진 3호기 참조)중 가상현실에서의 공동 협동 훈련 시스템(Virtual Reality Collaboration Training System)의 설계에 관하여 서술한다. 공동작업은 발전소 MCR(Main Control Room)을 3D 데이터 모델링 후 가상현실화하고 MCR 내부를 Navigation 할 수 있도록 가상패널(Virtual Panel)을 개발 및 에에 대한 엔지니어링 데이터베이스환경을 작성하여 추후 정확하고 신속한 계기 정보를 얻을 수 있도록 하며 훈련생들이 시뮬레이터실로 가지 않고 MCR에서 발전소를 운전하는 것과 같은 효과를 강의실에서 얻을 수 있다. 또한 설계기준사고 중의 하나인 LOCA 사고 복구 훈련 시나리오를 통하여 실제와 동일한 복구 훈련을 하므로서 효율적이며 현장감있는 교육훈련 수행을 가능케 한다.

  • With increasing interest in alternative energy source for green growth, this document shows that the study of kite flight control is based on the concept of autonomous flight of kite can exploit the energy. Currently, prototype kite was designed and the purpose of its flight test, by manual flight control with Remote Controller, was performed for the feasibility of the full automatic flight control. For the future research, the test data should be collected through the many flight test under various environment.

  • In location finding system using spaced multi-sensor, there is the phenomenon that the position estimation accuracy is degraded by the location of signal sources and the sensors. This phenomenon is called GDOP(Geometric Dilution Of Precision) effect. and to minimize these effects, research is needed on how. In this paper, I will describe how to minimize GDOP effect, estimating possibility of GDOP using AOA(angle of arrival) information of spaced multi sensors, and removing sensor error factor in position estimation.

  • Because of the increasing necessity on sharing economy, numerous number of commercial platform based on sharing has been on the rise: car sharing, bike sharing, house sharing, book sharing, etc. And most of all, share house which aimed at dwelling problem, showed the greatest growth than the other economic models. But during the growth period, unforeseen problems also revealed its traces; the vacancy and reliability problem on the mutual platform. However, there is no way to resolve this situation now. Due to this reason, we will offer some keys to unlock existing problems on current share house platform here.

  • While there is ample information on the investment plans about Korea's selected new growth businesses, it is hard to find any analysis on the valuation of the projects. In this paper, I intend to do a valuation for the three particular technologies, which are solar cell, automotive battery, and bio-pharmaceutical, based on compound option model so that the valuation can capture not only the expected net cash flow but also the value originated from the flexibility of the decision maker. In addition, the real option pricing theory is reviewed and its practical limitations are thoroughly investigated.

  • 본 연구에서는 관리의 복잡도를 줄이기 위한 대상으로써 운영체제 커널을 목표로 하였다. 특히, 운영체제의 핵심 기능들이 구현된 소프트웨어인 운영체제 커널이 본 논문에서 다루고자 하는 영역이다. 본 연구에서는 커널의 실제적인 서비스를 제공하는 커널서브시스템의 독립성을 살리고 시스템 내부의 변화에 따른 관리 복잡도를 줄이기 위해, 커널 내 구성요소들 간의 상호 관계 조율에 필요한 개념과 그 구조를 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서 정의한 Self-prevention은 커널 내의 자율적인 상호 관계 조율을 위한 모든 방안들의 총칭이다. 이러한 self-prevention의 구현을 위해 커널 내의 핵심 관리부의 관여를 줄이고 예상치 못한 동작에 대한 처리를 서브시스템의 자율에 맡길 수 있도록 하기 위해서 3가지의 부가적인 커널 컴포넌트들 (sampler, analyzer, preventer)을 정의하였고, 그 상호관계들을 서술하고 있다. 본 연구의 기여도는 크게 두 가지로써 먼저, self-managing 혹은 자율형 컴퓨팅 분야의 새로운 시도라는 점과 두 번째로 서브시스템의 자율성과 독립성을 유지하여 운영체제의 기능 확장성에 도움이 될 수 있다는 것이다.

  • This paper highlights research being conducted to identify ground motion and structural characteristics that control the response of concentrically braced frames using hysteretic damper, unbonded brace, and to identify improved design procedures and code provisions. The focus of this paper is on the seismic response of six story concentrically braced frames utilizing hysteretic damper. A brief discussion is provided regarding the mechanical properties of such braces and the benefit of their use. Results of detailed nonlinear dynamic analyses are then examined for specific cases to characterize the effect on key response parameters of structural configurations and proportions.

  • Recently, the high frequency link boost DC/DC converter has been used widely for PCS (Power Conditioning System) because of the requirements of small size and low cost. However, the high frequency link boost DC/DC converters applied the conventional voltage-fed converter and current-fed converter have some problems like high conduction losses and high surge voltage due to high circulating current and leakage inductance, respectively. To improve these problems, a novel secondary LLC (called SLLC) series resonant converter is proposed in this paper and its theoretical analysis, its operating waveforms, simulation and experimental results for a boost DC/DC converter using SLLC series resonant topology verifies the proposed topology. 800W experimental prototype is tested.

  • This paper proposes an XML based Multimedia Annotation and Retrieval System, which can represent and retrieve video data efficiently using XML. The system provides a graphical user interface for annotating, searching, and browsing multimedia data. It is Implemented based on the hierarchical metadata model to represent multimedia information. The metadata about video is organized based on multimedia description schema using XML Schema that basically conforms to the MPEG-7 standard. Also, for the effective indexing and retrieval of multimedia data, video segments are annotated and categorized using the closed caption.
