Methodology for the Study of Historic Clothing and Textiles (복식 연구를 위한 연구방법론에 관한 고찰-질적 연구방법과 양적 연구방법-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지난 20여 년간 발표되었던 복식사 연구 논문의 연구방법을 검토, 분석함으로서 복식 연구의 학문적 기초를 다지며, 아울러 미래의 복식 연구가 나아가야 할 바람직한 연구 방향을 모색하는데 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 1977년부터 1996년 사이 미국의 복식관련 학술지에 발표된 총 34편의 복식 연구논문을 수집하여, 각 논문의 연구방법과 주제, 사용된 자료, 다른 학문과의 연계성에 관한 내용을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 복식연구의 방법을 질적(Qualitative)연구방법으로 서술형(Narrative)과 해석형(Interpretive), 그리고 양적(Quantitative) 연구방법의 세 가지 유형으로 분류하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면, 복식학자들은 복식사가 갖는 다른 여러 학문영역과의 연계성(Interdis-ciplinary nature)으로 인하여, 광대한 연구주제에 따라, 각종 연구자료를 이용하여, 여러 학문적 관점에서, 다양한 연구 방법을 적용시켜 왔던 것을 알 수 있다. 적절한 연구방법의 선택은 각 논문에 따라 연구자의 의도, 주어진 연구주제, 가능한 모든 자료를 근거로 하여 결정되어야 하며, 하나의 논문 내에서도 각 부분에 적합한 여러 연구방법을 병행하여 사용함으로서 가장 효과적으로 연구의 목적을 달성할 수 있어야 한다.

The Extraction of Head words in Definition for Construction of a Semi-automatic Lexical-semantic Network of Verbs (동사 어휘의미망의 반자동 구축을 위한 사전정의문의 중심어 추출)

  • Recently, there has been a surge of interests concerning the construction and utilization of a Korean thesaurus. In this paper, a semi-automatic method for generating a lexical-semantic network of Korean '-ha' verbs is presented through an analysis of the lexical definitions of these verbs. Initially, through the use of several tools that can filter out and coordinate lexical data, pairs constituting a word and a definition were prepared for treatment in a subsequent step. While inspecting the various definitions of each verb, we extracted and coordinated the head words from the sentences that constitute the definition of each word. These words are thought to be the main conceptual words that represent the sense of the current verb. Using these head words and related information, this paper shows that the creation of a thesaurus could be achieved without any difficulty in a semi-automatic fashion.

  • Manganese dioxide is the material which has a good characteristic property for a secondary cell. We have surveyed on rechargeable battery of zink-manganese dioxide using aqueous solution and we also surveyed on redox reversibility of zink-manganese dioxide for checking up possibility for a secondary cell. We have found out to be active for charging and discharging of those.

A Study on Hegel's Influence in Architectural Historiography (건축사학에서 헤겔적 유산에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to review and analyse the influence of Hegel on architectural historiography. With the point of view that Hegel is the origin of architectural history, this study try to find out how Hegel's philosophy and aesthetics deeply influenced the principle and method of architectural historiography. As a kind of meta-history Hegel's idealism played a important role in the interpretation of architecture and its historiography. We can call it Hegelian legacy and it gave a determinant idea in the discours of architecture, especially Modernism. With a critical view point this study tries to reveal the mythical character of the premise and hypothesis of Hegel's historicism and also reviews its positive aspects in the history of writing architectural history. Today Hegelian thinking in architectural historiography is seriously criticized and considered as a old way of writing history. But this study tries to find a possibility to recognize the contemporary architectural situation with Hegel's concept of universal history. The return of Hegel necessarily does not mean the idea of totality and universality in practice as like in Modernism, but to widen the recognition in contemporary practice and historiography.

  • Economic statistics such as GDP, consumer prices, balance of payments, and unemployment rates are regularly measured over time. One of the best way to understand economic statistics is to visualize economic statistics as a picture. This makes it easier to grasp patterns of economic statistics and to communicate with users. The web technologies and the visualization tools make it possible to create dynamic and interactive visualization of economic statistics. Statistics Korea and the Bank of Korea provide various data visualization relating to official statistics such as infographics and dynamic charts. This paper presents an overview of visualization of Statistics Korea and the Bank of Korea. It also discusses a future direction to explore the visualization of Korean economic statistics.

  • In this paper, This paper is based on the conventional ESD protection circuits SCR and LVTSCR. Also, the SCR-based ESD protection circuit, which is different from the conventional structure, is presented and tested for variations in the trigger voltage and holding voltage. Due to the insertion of additional N +, P + regions, the newly added SCR-based protection circuit have improved electrical characteristics. To discuss the electrical characteristics of the proposed circuit, Synopsys T-CAD simulation data was shown.

  • This paper presents hybrid antenna(HA) design based on shaped reflector for mobile satellite communication. HA is composed of a shaped reflector and a feeder having $1{\times}8$ linear phased array, and reflector shaping method is applied for the performance optimization with minimum aperture size. And, in the feeder design, HA has another merit to minimize the manufacturing cost by optimizing the number of element. Proposed HA is designed at Ka-band and can electrically control a beam pattern within ${\pm}3^{\circ}$ in the basic angle of $+45^{\circ}$ in elevation. This antenna is designed to meet ITU-R S.465-5 for beam pattern including side-lobe level.

  • The conventional single phase PFC converter can control DC voltage to steady standard value but control system is system is complex and expensive and has rapidity problems because of controlled by detecting DC voltage, AC voltage and current. In order to solve those problems, this paper proposes senseless PFC converter circuit. The proposed circuit can control the whole system by detecting AC voltage waveform And it directly controlled DC output voltage by the controlled voltage value Kd(Ed/Ea). The fluctuation ratio of DC output voltage is changed by the circuit characteristics These characteristics are confirmed by some experimental results.

  • The purpose of the study was to develop project based math learning using future prospective jobs to find out its effects on elementary school student's attitude toward mathematics and career awareness. Also, this study aims at implementation of this project based math learning program in school math education. The project based math learning using future prospective jobs was conducted through 19 lessons for 7 weeks. As a result, the project based math learning using prospective jobs is turned out to be effective on developing attitudes on mathematics and career awareness positively.

Factors Affecting Self-efficacy, Health Belief, and Knowledge on Vaccination against Cervical Cancer among Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자궁경부암 백신접종 유무에 따른 효능감, 건강신념 및 자궁경부암 지식의 영향요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing on human papillomavirus vaccination among the nursing students. The subjects of this study were 354 university students majoring in nursing in J province. Vaccination rate was 34.2%. There were significant differences of age, grade, religion, intercourse experience, and experience of gynecology care. Self-efficacy, health belief, and knowledge of vaccinated students were higher than non-vaccinated students. The logistic regression analysis revealed that the factors influencing on vaccination were grade and self-efficacy. Through this result, it could be suggested there is a need for education strategies to increase self-efficacy considering grade in order to improve vaccination rate.
