온달굴은 천연기념물 제261호로 1979년 6월 18일에 지정받은 문화재 동굴이다. 원래 남굴로 불리운 이 동굴은 충청북도 단양군 영춘면 하리의 남한강이 서남류하여 굽이치는 남안의 남산 기슭에 위치한다. 이 남산은 서남쪽에 하리와 백자리에 경계를 이루고 있으며 남한강변에 우뚝솟은 해발 427m 성산의 기슭에 해당하는 구릉봉으로 석회암 지대의 산지지형인 급경사인 산세를 이루고 있다.(중략)

This study inquires into what effect the tax burden of investors, for typical taxes related to real estate investment; acquisition tax, comprehensive real estate holding tax, and transfer income tax, might have on the real estate investment behaviors; the purpose of long-term investment. These real estate investment behaviors have been analyzed to see how much they affect investment performance such as realized compound yield. This study model, which considers the fact that the choice of investment behavior for the degree of tax burden of investors may lead to different results in real estate investment, is expected to be an effective decision-making tool for investment.

DIWS system was introduced to treat HCl gas from the scrubber of iron and steel industry according as the regulation of air quality is expected to be changed to 2ppm. pH of condensed water at stack was increased to 6.0. While 13.3ppm of inflow HCl was introduced to DIWS system, the average exhaust gas was 0.43ppm with 96.9% of removal efficiency. Compared with HCl data of TMS, the stable removal efficiency was shown in DIWS system, but the phenomenon of data hunting was also observed with different types of TMS apparatus.

This study was carried out to find the optimum chemical cleaning (CIP) conditions for ceramic microfiltration membrane process of Y drinking water treatment plant. B train consists of coagulation as pretreatment process with membrane was chemically cleaned 9 times more than that of A train with ozonation and coagulation. The frequent CIP of B train was due to improper CIP method suggested by membrane manufacture as well as different membrane fouling between A and B train resulting from the different pretreatment processes. That is, recovery rate of CIP was overestimated because the rate was calculated based on normalized trans membrane pressure (TMP) rather than normalized permeability. And also, iron oxide fouling was ineffectively removed by citric acid. By using a mixture of 1% citric acid and 0.1 N sulfuric acid as reagent for acid CIP step, the recovery rate of CIP was the highest while CIP efficiency by 0.1 N sulfuric acid was the lowest. When sulfuric acid concentration increased from 0.1 N to 0.3 N in mixture, total recovery rate of CIP was not increased due to the decreased CIP efficiency in alkali CIP step by 0.3% NaOCl although its rate in acid CIP step was increased. It was proved through the experiment result of CIP sequence changes that an acid followed by alkali CIP was more effective than that of the reverse method.

In order to remediate soils contaminated with oxyanionic As and cationic Zn and Ni through the pilot-scale acid washing, the effectiveness of acid washing and the properties of contaminated soils, fine soil particle and dissolved contaminants were evaluated. $H_{2}SO_4\;and\;H_{3}PO_4$ washing at pH $2{\sim}3$ enhanced the removal of As by the presence of competitive oxyanions and HCl washing effectively removed simultaneously As, Zn and Ni. The effectiveness of soil washing was little enhanced above the critical reaction time, and the carbonate, Fe/Mn oxide and organic/sulfides associated fraction were dominantly removed. The washing of coarse soil particles was highly efficient, but that of fine soil particles($<74{\mu}m$) was recalcitrant due to the enrichment with contaminants. Moreover, the physical separation of fine particles($<149{\mu}m$) enhanced the overall efficiency of soil washing. Therefore, both chemical extraction and separation of fine soil particles showed the high effectiveness of soil washing in the intersection point to minimize the amount of fine soil particles and to maximize the chemical extraction of contaminants.

Korean typefaces are characterized on two axes: a font is either serifed or non-serifed, and it is either square-frame or non-squared. A serifed font entails small strokes that are regularly attached to the ends of larger strokes. Conversely, fonts without these marks are termed sans-serif. One of the exclusive features of Korean typeface of the square-frame type is that in such fonts, vowels and consonants often with their final vowels, are harmonically placed within the boundaries of the virtual square. We hypothesize that serifed and squared-frame typefaces are more popular and preferred owing to their widespread use throughout history. A survey incorporating Korean pangrams written with serif, sans-serif, squared, and non-squared typefaces was designed to test the present hypothesis. We found that people typically preferred and were more familiar with squared typefaces compared to non-squared typefaces. However, no difference was observed between serifed and san-serif typefaces. Furthermore, a positive correlation was found between familiarity and preference ratings only where the typefaces had squared and serifed features. The results revealed that Korean typefaces with the squared feature were more well-known and, therefore, more preferred to the typefaces without it. The results further indicated that Korean typefaces with the squared feature can be recommended for people's familiarity to it and the comfort it provides, and their emotional relevance and sensibility enhanced if serifs are added.

우리가 구조재로 사용하는 스틸에서는 산세나 도금과 같은 전처리공정이나 후공정인 전기적 도금공정에서 금속소지에 수소가 유입되면 수소취성이 일어날 수 있고 이럴 경우 그런 제품은 사용 중 예기치 못하게 파단이나 파괴가 일어날 수 있으므로 매우 위험하다. 특히 대부분 스틸을 구조재로 사용하는 자동차의 경우 운행 중 이런 사고가 발생하면 인명피해로 이어질 수 있으므로 그 관리가 매우 엄격하다.

강원도는 지형적으로 산세가 험해 교통발달이 상대적으로 느리고, 의료 혜택이 채 미치지 못한 곳이 만다. 이에 강원지부 복십자의원은 강원도 내 전 보건소와 손잡고 취약 지구를 직접 찾아가는 순회 진료서비스를 적극 실시해오고 있다. 지자체와 지역 단체가 한마음 한뜻이 되어 어떻게 하면 결핵퇴치를 함께 해나가야 하는가에 대한 정석을 이곳 강원지부는 여실히 보여주고 있는 것이다. 이에 [보건세계]는 강원지부를 찾아 그들의 패기 넘기는 사명감을 직접 담아보고자 했다.
