  • OPC UA(IEC62541) is a communication protocol for SG(Smart Grid) application platform. It was standardized by IEC TC57 group in December 2012. The IEC61850 has been used in Digital Substation Systems and Smart Distributed Systems. The DNP3.0 has been used for device's data collection/control in Distributed Systems. The DLMS/COSEM has been used to control metering and collect information in the Smart Metering. The top-level SG management platform needs an independent middleware to manage transparently the Power Information Technology, including the IEC61850, DNP3.0, DLMS/COSEM. In this paper, we propose the SDG(Scada Data Gateway) platform. It manages Power Information Technology based Digital Substation Systems and Smart Distributed systems, Smart Metering through OPC UA.

Association of Polymorphisms in the Bovine Leptin Gene with Ultrasound Measurements for Improving in Korean Cattle

  • The identification method that inflects real time ultrasound (RUT) and the potential application of marker assisted selection (MAS) for improvement of a cow population of Hanwoo (Korean Native cattle) was studied. The averages of RUT longissimus muscle area, RUT fat thickness, and RUT marbling score scanned at the 13th rib were 55.78 $cm^2$, 3.70 mm and 3.83 scores, respectively. We investigated the effects of the two SNPs (Kpn2 I and Msp I) in the leptin gene on carcass traits for Hanwoo cows by using ultrasound measurements. Genotype CC of the Kpn2 I had a significantly higher effect on back fat thickness (4.23 mm) and longissimus muscle area (57.57 $cm^2$) than genotype TT (3.14 mm, 53.93 $cm^2$, respectively, p<0.05). Genotype AA of the Msp I had a significantly higher effect only on marbling score (5.37) than genotype AB (3.57, p<0.05) and BB (3.37, p<0.05). Significant effects of SNPs in the leptin gene were found for the ultrasound measures of body composition in live cattle.

  • 전력계통의 원방감시제어시스템(SCADA)은 원방의 전력계동을 화면에 표시하고 감시하며 필요한 제어명령을 실행하는 시스템을 말한다. 철도청의 기존 전력계통 제어시스템은 UNIX를 기반으로 하여 특별히 교육 받은 운용자만이 감시제어 및 관리할 수 있고 구축비용이 많이 소요되며 지역 사무소에서 운용되기 때문에 원격지의 전력계통 사고의 경우 시스템 운용자는 현장의 근무자와 연락하여 사고의 원인을 파악하고 조치해야 하는 단점이 있다. 또한 새로운 통합 SCADA 시스템이 구축되면서 기존 지역사무소에서 운용하던 전력계통 제어시스템이 없어지고 중요 역사마다 지역사무소의 전력계통 제어시스템을 대체할 수 있는 소규모 전력계통 제어시스템의 설치가 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 UNIX를 기반으로 한 SCADA 시스템의 기능을 모두 수용하고 현장의 근무자들이 쉽게 감시제어 및 유지보수까지도 할 수 있는 경제적인 전력 계통 제어시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 소규모 전력 계통 제어시스템을 개발하기 위해 Cimon 이라는 산업자동화프로그램을 이용하였으며 철도청 철암 역사에 직접 시스템을 설치하여 원격소 장치(RTU)와 새로 추가 설치된 전자식배전반을 동시에 수용할 수 있는 소규모 전력계통 제어시스템을 개발하고 실험하였다.

A Study on State Estimation Based Intrusion Detection in Power Control Systems Using DNP3 over TCP/IP (DNP3 over TCP/IP 환경 전력 제어시스템에서의 상태추정 기반 침입 탐지 연구)

  • With the evolution of power systems and advancements in IT technology, there is an increasing demand to shift from serial-based communication to TCP/IP-based communication. However, TCP/IP communication entails various security threats, necessitating extensive consideration from an information security perspective. Security measures such as authentication and encryption cannot be rapidly implemented due to issues like the replacement of Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) and the performance requirements of encryption algorithms. This paper proposes a state estimation-based intrusion detection model to identify and effectively detect threats to power control systems in such a context. The proposed model, in addition to signature detection methods, verifies the validity of acquired data, enabling it to detect attacks that are difficult to identify using traditional methods, such as data tampering.
