  • This study investigated characteristics and types of ideal maternal behaviors in three different cultures : Korea, the United States, and France. The 18 experts from each of the 3 cultures who participated in this study had knowledge and experience related to infant development and parenting. Based on the principles of Q-methodology, the experts sorted 40 Q-items representing maternal behavior related to infancy. After rating each item on a scale from "least desirable" to "most desirable" maternal behaviors, the experts described their reasons for the classification. Results identified some clear similarities and differences among cultures. pooled responses yielded 3 types of ideal maternal behaviors: perfective, child centered, and realistic perspective.

  • Considering the prime z-filters on a topological space X through the structures of the ring C(X) of continuous functions. a prime z-filter is uniquely determined by a primary z-ideal in the ring C(X), i. e., they have a one-to-one correspondence. Any primary ideal is contained in a unique maximal ideal in C(X). Denoting $\mathfrak{F}(X)$, $\mathfrak{Q}(X)$, 𝔐(X) the prime, primary-z, maximal spectra, respectively, $\mathfrak{Q}(X)$ is neither an open nor a closed subspace of $\mathfrak{F}(X)$.

  • Let ${\mathcal{H}}$ be an infinite dimensional separable Hilbert space with a fixed orthonormal base $\{e_1,e_2,{\cdots}\}$. Let L be the subspace lattice generated by the subspaces $\{[e_1],[e_1,e_2],[e_1,e_2,e_3],{\cdots}\}$ and let $Alg{\mathcal{L}}$ be the algebra of bounded operators which leave invariant all projections in ${\mathcal{L}}$. Let p and q be natural numbers (p < q). Let ${\mathcal{A}}$ be a linear manifold in $Alg{\mathcal{L}}$ such that $T_{(p,q)}=0$ for all T in ${\mathcal{A}}$. If ${\mathcal{A}}$ is a Lie ideal, then $T_{(p,p)}=T_{(p+1,p+1)}={\cdots}=T_{(q,q)}$ and $T_{(i,j)}=0$, $p{\eqslantless}i{\eqslantless}q$ and i < $j{\eqslantless}q$ for all T in ${\mathcal{A}}$.

  • This research focuses on the characterization of an ordered semigroups (OS) in the frame work of generalized bipolar fuzzy interior ideals (BFII). Different classes namely regular, intra-regular, simple and semi-simple ordered semigroups were characterized in term of $({\alpha},{\beta})$-BFII (resp $({\alpha},{\beta})$-bipolar fuzzy ideals (BFI)). It has been proved that the notion of $({\in},{\in}{\gamma}q)$-BFII and $({\in},{\in}{\gamma}q)$-BFI overlap in semi-simple, regular and intra-regular ordered semigroups. The upper and lower part of $({\in},{\in}{\gamma}q)$-BFII are discussed.

  • A closed subspace J of a Banach space X is called an M-ideal in X if the annihilator $J^\perp$ of J is an L-summand of $X^*$. That is, there exists a closed subspace J' of $X^*$ such that $X^* = J^\perp \oplus J'$ and $\left\$\mid$ p + q \right\$\mid$ = \left\$\mid$ p \right\$\mid$ + \left\$\mid$ q \right\$\mid$$ wherever $p \in J^\perp and q \in J'$.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with identity, X be an indeterminate over R, and R[X] be the polynomial ring over R. In this paper, we study when R[X] is a radically principal ideal ring. We also study the t-operation analog of a radically principal ideal domain, which is said to be t-compactly packed. Among them, we show that if R is an integrally closed domain, then R[X] is t-compactly packed if and only if R is t-compactly packed and every prime ideal Q of R[X] with Q ∩ R = (0) is radically principal.

  • An SM domain is an integral domain which satisfies the ascending chain condition on w-ideals. Then an SM domain also satisfies the descending chain condition on those chains of v-ideals whose intersection is not zero. In this paper, a study is begun to extend these properties to commutative rings with zero divisors. A $Q_0$-SM ring is defined to be a ring which satisfies the ascending chain condition on semiregular w-ideals and satisfies the descending chain condition on those chains of semiregular v-ideals whose intersection is semiregular. In this paper, some properties of $Q_0$-SM rings are discussed and examples are provided to show the difference between $Q_0$-SM rings and SM rings and the difference between $Q_0$-SM rings and $Q_0$-Mori rings.

  • The concept of quasi-coincidence of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy point with an interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy set is considered. By using this idea, the notion of interval valued (α, β)-intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals, (1,2)ideals in a semigroup introduced and consequently, a generalization of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals and intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals is defined. In this paper, we study the related properties of the interval valued (α, β)-intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals, (1,2) ideals and in particular, an interval valued (Є, Є ∨q)-fuzzy bi-ideals and (1,2) ideals in semigroups will be investigated.

  • Let D be an integrally closed domain with quotient field K, X be an indeterminate over D, $f=a_0+a_1X+{\cdots}+a_nX^n{\in}D[X]$ be irreducible in K[X], and $Q_f=fK[X]{\cap}D[X]$. In this paper, we show that $Q_f$ is a maximal ideal of D[X] if and only if $(\frac{a_1}{a_0},{\cdots},\frac{a_n}{a_0}){\subseteq}P$ for all nonzero prime ideals P of D; in this case, $Q_f=\frac{1}{a_0}fD[X]$. As a corollary, we have that if D is a Krull domain, then D has infinitely many height-one prime ideals if and only if each maximal ideal of D[X] has height ${\geq}2$.

  • By calculating the spectral efficiency of symmetric balance incomplete block design(BIBD) codes satisfying BER=$10^{-9}$, it can be found that ideal BIBD code design with m=2 and various q's is effective when effective power is high($P_{sr}=-10$ dBm). But BIBD code design with q > 2 and various m's can be effective when effective power is low($P_{sr}=-25$ dBm).
