30 MHz~1000 MHz 고주파 대역에서 Ni-Zn 계 페라이트의 소결조건에 따른 전파흡수 특성 (Effects of Sintering Schedule of Ni-Zn Ferrites on Properties of Electromagnetic Wave Absorber between 30 MHz and 1000 MHz)

  • Recently intensive studies have been focussed on ferrites which have high magnetic loss because of the increasing need for the prevention of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). We investigated effects of microstructures of Ni-Zn ferrites on magnetic losses, magnetic properties, and behaviors of electromagnetic wave absorbers. The characteristics of the absorber were influenced by the sintering conditions. A Ni-Zn ferrite with the thickness of 7$^{\circ}C$/min and the cooling rate of 7$^{\circ}C$/min. It satisfied the absorbing properties in the wide frequency ranges including VHF (90∼220 MHz), UHF (470∼770 MHz)

  • This paper is studied on the sintering characteristics of Ni-Zn ferrites. The specimen ferrites was composed of 20 mol% NiO, 30mol% ZnO, 50 mol% Fe$_2$O$_3$, and 0.0025 mol%, 0.005 mol%, 0.01 mol% Nb$_2$O$\_$5/, Bi$_2$O$_3$, V$_2$O$\_$5/, wee used as minor additives. Sintering was carried out at 1100$^{\circ}C$. As results from the experiments, the high value of initial permeability of 6X10$^2$∼9X10$^2$ can be achieved at 500KHz∼1000KHz. The value of loss factor 1X10 ̄$^2$∼2X10$^2$ can be achieved at 500KHz∼1000KHz. The lowest 1/(${\mu}$XQ) value was obtained in the specimen with the addition of 0.005mol% fracyion for V$_2$O$\_$5/.

Cu계 스피넬 페라이트의 Cu 함량에 따른 특성 변화 (Properties of Cu-Contained Spinel Ferrites with Various Cu Contents)

  • The charcteristics for the copper-contained spinel ferrites such as NiCu-and ZnCu ferrites with various copper content are investigated in this study which can provide a explanation for the behavior of copper in sintering at a low temperatuer. The bulk density and the grain size for these sintered ferrites were increased with the larger amount of copper in compositions. In microstructure of copper-contained spinel ferrites copper exists in the grain boundary which is sintering process. Electrical resistivity and frequency range with maximum Q-facor of NiCu-or ZnCu ferrites were decreased as increasing of copper content in ferrite composition.

NFC의 자기 차폐용 Ni-Zn-Co 페라이트 자성체의 고주파 자기특성 (High-frequency Magnetic Properties of Ni-Zn-Co Ferrites Used for Mangetic Shielding in NFC)

  • This study investigated the magnetic properties and frequency dispersion of complex permeability of Ni-Zn-Co ferrites used for magnetic shielding in near field communication (NFC) system. The sintered specimens of $(Ni_{0.7}Zn_{0.3})_{1-x}Co_xFe_2O_4$ composition were prepared by the conventional ceramic processing. The coercive force and saturation magnetization were measured by vibrating sample magnetometer. The complex permeability was measured by RF impedance analyzer in the range of 1 MHz~1.8 GHz. The coercive force increased and saturation magnetization decreased with increasing the Co substitution. The real and imaginary parts of complex permeability decreased and the resonance frequency increased with Co substitution, which was attributed to the increase in crystal anisotropy field and reduction in saturation magnetization. The effect of Co substitution could be found in reducing the magnetic loss to nearly zero at the operating frequency of NFC (13.56 MHz).

  • This study investigates the influence of sintering temperature on the magnetic properties and frequency dispersion of the complex permeability of Ni-Zn-Cu ferrites used for magnetic shielding in near-field communication (NFC) systems. Sintered specimens of $(Ni_{0.7}Zn_{0.3})_{0.96}Cu_{0.04}Fe_2O_4$ are prepared by conventional ceramic processing. The complex permeability is measured by an RF impedance analyzer in the range of 1 MHz to 1.8 GHz. The real and imaginary parts of the complex permeability depend sensitively on the sintering temperature, which is closely related to the microstructure, including grain size and pore distribution. In particular, internal pores within grains produced by rapid grain growth decrease the permeability and increase the magnetic loss at the operating frequency of NFC (13.56 MHz). At the optimized sintering temperature ($1225-1250^{\circ}C$), the highest permeability and lowest magnetic loss can be obtained.

  • 비화학양론 조성의 니켈-아연 페라이트 소결체 시편에서 투자율과 유전율을 체계적으로 변화 시킴에 따라 전파흡수특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. ${(Ni_{0.5}Zn_{0.5}O)}_{1-x}(Fe_{2}O_{3})_{1+x}$ 시편은 일반적인 세라믹 제조공정에 의해 제조 하였다. 본 연구에서는 니켈-아연 페 라이트에서 ${\alpha}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ 함량을 변화시킴에 따라 복수투자율과 복소유전율의 조절 방안 을 조사하였다. 철과잉량의 효과는 유전상수 증가였으며 철결핍량의 효과는 ${\mu}_{r}"$ 감소이었다. 니켈-아연 페라이트에서 ${\alpha}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ 함량 변화에 따라 정합주파수와 정합두께 조절이 가능함을 제시하였다.

THE CONTROL OF PERMITTIVITY IN THE Ni-Zn FERRITE ABSORBER

  • The variation of magnetic permeability and dielectric constant and their relationship with microwave absorbing properties are investigated in sintered Ni-Zn ferrite. Toroid specimens of ${(Ni_{0.5}Zn_{0.5}O)}_{1-y}{(Fe_{2}O_{3})}_{1+y}$ ferrites are prepared by conventional ceramic processing technique. The large change in magnetic permeability is observed by the variation of excess $Fe_{2}O_{3}$ in the Ni-Zn ferrites. The more the iron-excess from y=0.04 to y=0.12, the lower value of both $\mu_{r}'$ and $\mu_{r}"$ is observed. However dielectric permittivity increases with the increase of the increase of the excess $Fe_{2}O_{3}$. The control of permittivity is realized by nitrogen sintering atmosphere and excess $Fe_{2}O_{3}$ respectively.

  • NiO, ZnO 조성이 다른 Ni-Cu-Zn 페라이트의 손실 분석을 실시했다. 손실, Ph는 측정 온도의 상승에 따라 감소 해 $100-120^{\circ}C$ 근처에서 일정한 값을 얻었다. Pcv 의 주파수의존성은 $Pcv\~f^n$ 로 표현될 수 있는데, n는 1 MHz 까지 일정했다. Pcv 는 ZnO/NiO 비가 증가함에 따라 감소한다. Pcv 를 Hysteresis loss, Ph 및 잔류손실, (Pcv-Ph)로 분리했다. Pcv 의 온도특성 및 조성 의존성은 Ph에 기인하지만, (Pcv-Ph)는 온도 및 조성에 의존하지 않는다 Ph 와 초투자률, ${\mu}$i의 온도 및 조성 의존성을 분석 해, 다음과 같은 식이 성립된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. $${\mu}\;_i{\mu}\;_o=I_s\;^2/(K_1+b{\sigma}\;_o{\lambda}\;_s)\;\;\;\;(1)$$ $$Wh=13.5(I_s\;^2/{\mu}\;i{\mu}\;0)\;\;\;\;(2)$$ 여기서, ${\mu}\;_o$ 은 진공의 투자율, $I_s$, 는 포화자화, $K_1$는 이방성상수, ${\sigma}_\;o$는 내부 불균일 응력, ${\lambda}_\;s$ 는 자기이방성 상수,b는 미지의 정수, Wh는 1 주기 당의 히스테리시스 손실(Ph=Wh*f)이다. Ni-Cu-Zn 페라이트의 Steinmetz 정수 m=1.64-2.2는 Mn-Zn 페라이트보다는 적은데, 이는 양 재료간의 손실 메커니즘의 차가 있음을 암시하는 것이다.
