The reinforced concrete shear walls are being widely used in the domestic high-rise residential complex buildings. If designed by current codes, the special boundary element is needed in almost all high-rise shear wall buildings. This is because the equation for determining the provision of the special boundary element in the current codes cannot reflect the characteristics of the domestic high-rise shear walls with high axial load ratio and high proportion of elastic displacement to total displacement. In this study, a new equation to be able to reflect the characteristics is proposed. By using the equation, the special boundary element may not be necessary in certain cases so that structural engineers can relieve the burden of installing the special boundary element in every high-rise shear wall.

Special Libraries are not the organizations established and administered by the Library and Reading Promotion Law, but the ones organized to provide necessary knowledge and information required in the works performed by the staff of organizations. The goal of special libraries is to provide the information and materials required by the parent organizations, preferably, at the right time and in the right form. In accordance with the specialization of social structure, the number of special library has been increasing. Especially, industries need industrial information in their introduction of new management techniques and in the processes of technical development, so special libraries attached to industries have remarkably been increased. Special libraries, along with academic libraries, are the organizations providing necessary materials for the specialists who are producing knowledge of every field in the society. However, apart from academic libraries, the organizations, manpower, works, collections and services of special libraries have not been properly investigated and known. This research has tried to identify if those factors are provided for propose services. The result shows which factors are fulfilled enough or which ones need enforcement.

Recently people show interest in cultural exhibition space targeting on children from the birth of children to play and education. Accordingly, lately the necessity of professional special exhibition space, which is composed of changeable program fit to the children trend of a growth period, and shows relatively more freedom and adaptability in directing the theme than permanent exhibition, have increased rapidly. Today the social importance of special exhibition for children is emphasized as an alternative that can provide efficiently the expression of freedom and the environment of experimental space which is not filled in existing academy or school. The necessity of special exhibition space for children is raising to the climax at this moment, this study has the meaning to analyze the direction of domestic special exhibition for children progressed in last 1 year, and then to suggest basic guide and direction for future plan of special exhibitions.

Individuals with special needs include those with behavioral issues, developmental disorders, cognitive disorders, congenital or genetic disorders, or systemic disease. These conditions may place them at increased risk for oral diseases. Dental management of patients with special needs require in-depth understanding of the background of disability and available behavioral guidance theories. Therefore dental team members need more training in the theory and practice of behavior management principles, which might lead to a clinical experience that is more respectful of the dignity and independence of patients with special needs. The dental professional should be flexible to modify the behavior management approach according to the individual patients needs. Also a family/care-giver centered approach based on their preferences and concerns, the patient's challenging behaviors, and related medical problem can serve to improve the treatment planning and oral health management of dental patients with special needs. This article focuses on uncooperative behavior and behavior management, which help practicing dentists to understand their role in the care of patients with special needs.

The first thing in designing application-specific instruction set processor is having instruction set closely matching hardware characteristics. This instruction set design problem can be more complicated when cobined with implementation method selection problem of each instruction. Our processor model supports two kinds of instructions-primitive or special instructions. Primitive instructions are implemented using common multifunctional hardware such as ALU. Special instructions require a set of dedicated hardware, which actually functions as a coprocessor to the main processor. In this case, special instructions and primitive instructions can be executed independently. In this paper, we present novel algorithm for genrating special instructions for given application. Parallelism between special instructions and primitive instructions is also considered during the performance estimation stage of generated special instructions.

In this study, it is speculated that the special admixture can be mixed with ERCO beforehand to prevent adsorption of cement and AE at the time of contamination together with water, and the change in the amount of special admixture preliminarily added to ERCO We will try to analyze the influence on normal strength mortar. As a result, the flow quantity, the air quantity, the compressive strength and the flexural strength were improved as the added amount of the special admixture was increased, and When the special admixture with the addition amount of ERCO 3% was added, the strength was rather lowered. Therefore, it was found that the optimum amount of special admixture added to ERCO was 2%.

This paper discussed the use of the urban greening space beside nature land----special sites of urban Greening. Consider: the special sites of urban greening are referred to the space formed by urban building and framing, where plants can grow under natural or artificial condition. Filly using those spaces will efficiently increase green area, improving ecological environment and landscape in urban area. A classification to special sites of urban greening was put forward, which are the habits of plant combine with the form of buildings. The present status and future trends on urban greening at special sites was discussed and analyzed. Consider: there are two developing trends of the research of urban greening at special sites. Firstly, it is more naturalize and ecologize greening landscape. Secondly, It will take form a techologize in the process of constructing and materials.
