선형절삭실험 중 디스크커터 축에 작용하는 하중과 온도에 대한 실험적 연구 (A experimental study on the loads and temperature acting on the shaft of a disc cutter during linear rock cutting test)

  • 본 연구는 변형률게이지와 열전대, 적외선 열화상카메라를 사용하여 선형절삭실험 동안 디스크커터의 축에 발생하는 축응력과 토크를 측정하고 디스크커터의 내부와 외부의 온도를 파악하고자 하였다. 실험결과, 축응력과 토크의 최대값은 각각 11.3 MPa, $171kN{\cdot}m$로 측정되었으며, 축응력과 토크는 회전력보다는 디스크커터의 연직력과 상관성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 선형절삭실험 동안 열전대로 측정한 결과, 디스크커터의 온도변화는 $0.2^{\circ}C$ 이내로 나타났다. 그러나 수행된 각 선형절삭작업이 연속적으로 이루어진다고 가정한 다음, 디스크커터의 내부온도와 커터 링 표면의 온도변화를 추정한 결과, 커터간격이 70 mm인 경우에는 각각 $0.1^{\circ}C/m$, $0.15{\sim}0.17^{\circ}C/m$로 예상되었고 커터간격이 90 mm인 경우에는 각각 $0.09^{\circ}C/m$, $0.13{\sim}0.23^{\circ}C/m$로 추정되었다.

황산염 환원 조건에서 리그노셀룰로오스의 분해 및 리그닌과 셀룰로오스의 상호작용 (Lignocellulose Biodegradation and Interaction between Cellulose and Lignin under Sulfate Reducing Conditions)

  • 황산염 환원조건에서의 리그노셀룰로오스의 분해에 대하여 고찰하였다. 특히, 리그닌에 대한 셀룰로오스의 비(C/L 비)를 각각 42.15, 4.59, 2.51, 1.14, 0.7로 하여 리그닌과 셀룰로오스의 상호작용에 대하여 고찰하였다. 셀룰로오스의 분해율은 1차 반응식에 의해 계산되어져, C/L 비가 감소할수록 반응상수는 감소하여 셀룰로오스의 분해에 대한 리그닌의 저해작용을 보여 주였다. 1차 반응식에 의한 반응상수와 리그닌의 함량의 증가에 대한 셀룰로오스의 분해율은 0.97의 $R^2$ 값을 가지며 로그힘수에 의해 표현할 수 있었다. 리그노셀룰로오스의 분해율 또한 C/L 비와 로그함수의 관계를 가지며 리그닌의 함량이 많을수록 감소하였다. 리그닌의 분해율은 C/L 비가 2.51 및 1.14인 조건에서 4.59 및 0.7의 조건보다 높게 나타나, 공동기질로서의 과도한 탄소원은 리그닌분해에 장애가 됨을 보여 주였다.

  • Use of recycled aggregates in portland cement concrete (PCC) construction can offer benefits associated with both economy and sustainability. Testing performed to date indicates that recycled brick masonry aggregate (RBMA) can be used as a 100% replacement for conventional coarse aggregate in concrete that exhibits acceptable mechanical properties for use in structural and pavement elements, including satisfactory performance in some durability tests. Recycled brick masonry aggregate concrete (RBMAC) is currently not used in any type of construction in the United States. However, use of RBMAC could become a viable construction strategy as sustainable building practices become the norm. This paper explores the feasibility of use of RBMAC in several types of sustainable construction initiatives, based upon the findings of previous work with RBMAC that incorporates RBMA produced from construction and demolition waste from a case study site. A summary of material properties of RBMAC that will be useful to construction professionals are presented, along with a discussion of advantages and impediments to use. Several quality assurance and quality control techniques that could be incorporated into specifications are identified.

  • A 1MW class HTS(High-Temperature Superconducting) synchronous motor has been developed. This motor is aimed to be utilized for industrial application such as large motors operating in large plants. The HTS field coil of the developed motor is cooled by way of Neon thermosiphon mechanism and the stator coil is cooled by water through hollow copper conductor. This paper describes performance test results of our motor, which was conducted at steady state in generator mode and motor mode.

Investigation of Field Construction and Economic Efficiency for Steel Plate-Concrete Structures with Application of Parking Building

  • The SC structure can have relatively liberal sectional surfaces, and allows modularization for pre-forming in factories and structural stability. It can be used for the shear walls in the core of general buildings or the structural members for parking buildings. In the future, it could be applied to moving large bus terminals, and widely used for general industrial structures as it can expedite the process compared to other methods. This study examined the applicability of SC structures to the retaining walls of a parking building and reviewed its economic value by comparing its construction term, quality control benefits, and cost compared to RC structures. It was found that SC structures are about 1.6-1.7 times more expensive than RC structures in terms of the cost of fabrication and installation. However, the construction term can be reduced by 27% to save indirect costs for constructors, as well as the cost of removing molds and material loss required when installing RC structures.

  • The main focus of this study is the analysis of the importance of the planning work of apartment housing projects. Group the detailed work of the facility into five major tasks, categorize each into five major categories, organize the construction plans (P1 through P 6), name the plans (C4), and analyze the quality of the environmental management plans (E1 through E 4) Finally, this study derived major planning tasks from the correlation between planning and cost metrics and from the T-test.

  • 본 연구는 Eurogode 3 Part 1.3을 근거하여 온도증가에 따른 압축을 받는 냉간성형 C-형강 기둥의 플랜지와 웨브의 탄성국부좌굴 응력 해석 프로그램을 개발하였다. 고온에서 응력-변형률 관계식은 Eurocode 3 Part 1.2를 근거하였다. 온도증가에 따른 압축을 받는 냉간성형 C-형강의 임계온도와 탄성국부좌굴 응력은 본 연구에서 개발한 컴퓨터 프로그램에 의해 해석하였고, 해석 예에 대한 비교 고찰을 하였다.

  • Of the total defects that have occurred recently in the Korean construction market, over 30% are caused by the construction of defective waterproofing, and the phenomenon of air pockets in the waterproofing layer, which is caused by the concrete vapor pressure, is known to be the primary cause of defective waterproofing. Accordingly, in this study the theory about the relationship between water pressure and temperature as well as the damp-proofing volume of concrete and, then, the change of vapor pressure volume was measured and analyzed by making a test sample after spraying a dampness remover and a waterproofing material to a prepared test body. As a result of measuring the water vapor pressure for the surface temperature of the waterproofing layer with the fluid-applied membrane temperature based on about $10^{\circ}C$, which is the average temperature of Seoul, it was found that first, the fluid-applied membrane elevated up to about $40^{\circ}C$, and the water vapor pressure generated from the fluid-applied membrane was about $0.3kgf/cm^2$ when the surface temperature of the waterproofing layer was raised up to about $80^{\circ}C$. Second, when the fluid-applied membrane temperature of the waterproofing layer was raised from $30^{\circ}C\;to\;35^{\circ}C,\;about\;0.1kgf/cm^2$ of water vapor pressure was generated, and when supplying a thermal source to raise the fluid-applied membrane temperature of the waterproofing layer from $35^{\circ}C\;to\;40^{\circ}C$, approximately $0.05kgf/cm^2$ of water vapor pressure was generated.
