Ca가 치환된 $PbTiO_3$계 세라믹스의 압전 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Piezoelectric Characteristics of Ca-Substituded $PbTiO_3$ Ceramics)

  • In this study, we investigated structural, electrical characteristics and studied the conditions which improved hydrostatic constants in hydrophones as we changed x = 0.1, 0.25, 0.35, 0.4 and y = 0.04, 0.08, 0.12, 0.16 in $(Pb_{1-x}Ca_x)[(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_yTi_{1-0.01}Mn_{0.01}]O_3$ ceramics in which Ca was substituted with Pb and $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ was added to decrease sintering temperature in $PbTiO_3$. When Ca was substituted 0.25[mol], the largest electro-mechanical anisotropy ($k_t/k_p$) was found ($k_t{\fallingdotseq}50,k_p{\fallingdotseq}4$), and the less $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ and the stronger poling field, the larger this anisotropy was. When Ca=0.25[mol], $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3=0.08[mol]$ were substituted, ($k_t/k_p$)(=12, 3) was large, permittivity was low and hydrostatic constants were high. Therefore, this composition is promising as wide band ultrasonic devices in water.

  • High-power piezoelectric materials are being developed for applications such as actuators and ultrasonic motors. In this paper, ferroelectric property of iron-doped 0.57 (Sc$_{1}$2//Nb$_{1}$2/)O$_3$-0.43 PbTiO$_3$. which is the morphotropic phase boundary composition for the PSN-PT system, was investigated. The maximum dielectric constant ( $\varepsilon$$_{33}$/$\varepsilon$$_{0}$ = 2551) and the minimum dielectric loss(tan $\delta$ = 0.51 %) at room temperature were obtained at 01. wt% and 0.3 wt% of iron additions. With additions of the Fe$_2$O$_3$ the electromechanical coupling factor of radial mode k$_{p}$ and the piezoelectric coefficient d$_{33}$ were slightly decreased, on the other hand the mechanical quality factor was increased significantly. The highest mechanical quality factor (Qm= 297) was obtained at 0.3 wt% Fe$_2$O$_3$, which is 4.4 times larger than that of pure 0.57 PSN-0.43PT ceramics. The temperature dependence of the dielectric constant and dielectic loss was observed between 2$0^{\circ}C$ and 35$0^{\circ}C$ .X> .X> .

  • In this paper the dielectric properties of (0.8-x)Pb(Mb$_{1}$3//Nb/2/3)O$_3$/BaTiO$_3$-CaZrO$_3$(x=0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25) ceramics were investigated. Specimens were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method and sintering temperature and time were 1000~115$0^{\circ}C$ 2hr, respectively. The structural and dielectric properties with variation of sintering temperature and composition were investigated. All the specimens sintered at 115$0^{\circ}C$ for 2hr showed the highest value of 1043. With increasing the contents of CZ and frequency dielectric constant was decreased and which was decreased with increasing temperature from 3$0^{\circ}C$ to 15$0^{\circ}C$.

저온 소결제 첨가에 의한 LiNb3O8-TiO2계 세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전 특성 (Microwave Dielectric Properties of the LiNb3O8-TiO2 Ceramic System with the Addition of Low Firing Agents)

  • The microwave dielectric properties of $LiNb_3O_8-TiO_2$ based ceramics with low firing agents, CuO, $Bi_2O_3$, $B_2O_3$, $SiO_2$, $TiO_2$, were investigated to improve the sintering condition for the LTCC system. According to the X-ray diffraction and SEM, the ceramics of $LiNb_3O_8-TiO_2$ with low firing agents showed no significant second phases within a range of experiments, and fine microstructures. By adding the low firing agents, the sintering temperature decreased from $1200^{\circ}C$ to $925^{\circ}C$. Based on the results of electrical measurements, the $LiNb_3O_8-TiO_2$ ceramics showed a promising microwave dielectric properties for LTCC applications, those are ${\varepsilon}_r$ (dielectric constant) = 44, Q f (quality factor) = 18000, and ${\tau}_f$ (the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency) = $-1.5\;ppm/^{\circ}C$.

  • 강유전 물질인 $Pb_{0.99}[(Zr_{0.6}Sn_{0.4})_{1-x}Ti_x]_{0.98}Nb_{0.02}O_3$(PNZST) 박막을 10 mole%의 과잉 PbO가 첨가된 타겟을 이용하여 $La_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}CoO_3$(LSCO)/Pt/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si 기판상에 RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링 방법으로 증착하였다. Ti의 조성비를 변화시키면서 증착된 박막에 대하여 그 결정성과 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. 80 W의 RF 전력, $500^{\circ}C$의 기판온도에서 증착한 후, $650^{\circ}C$, 공기중에서 10초 동안 급속 열처리된 박막이 가장 우수한 페로브스카이트상으로 결정화되었다. 또한. Ti의 조성비가 10 mole%를 가지는 PNZST이 가장 우수한 결정성과 강유전 특성을 나타내었다. 이러한 박막으로 제작된 PNZST 커패시터는 약 $20\;{\mu}C/cm^2$정도의 잔류분극과 약 50 kV/cm 정도의 항전계를 나타내었으며, $2.2{\times}10^9$의 스위칭 후에도 잔류분극의 감소는 10% 미만이었다.

  • In this paper, xPb(Zn$_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}$)$O_3$-yPbTiO$_3$-zPbZrO$_3$-(0.5wt%)MnO$_2$ ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method sintered at $1250^{\circ}C$ for 2[hr] and then the deielectric, electromechanical coupling factor($K_{p}$ and mechanical coupling factor(Qm) properties were investigated. In 0.1PZN-0.45PT-0.45PZsample, dielectric properties and electromechanical coupling factor were 829 and 29%. In the case of 0.5PZN-0.45PT-0.50PZ sample, that was 101 according to mechanical quality facotr. molphotropic phase boundary(MPB) certained area which $PbTiO_3$addition quatity 40∼50[㏖%].

The Electronic Properties of the $BT-(BaNaK)(TiNb)O_3$ System for Lead Free PTC

  • We weal know that PbO was poisonous and prone to volatilize, then to pollute the circumstance and hurt to people, so we should dope other innocuous additives instead of lead to increase Tc of composite PTC material. In order to prepare lead-free $BaTiO_3$-based PTC with middle Curie point, the incorporation on $(BaNaK)(TiNb)O_3$ into $BaTiO_3$-based ceramics was investigated on samples containing 0.05, 0.07 and 0.1mol% of $(BaNaK)(TiNb)O_3$. $(BaNaK)(TiNb)O_3$ was compounded as standby material by conventional solid-state reaction technique. The starting materials were $Na_2O_3$,$K_2CO_3$, $BaCO_3$, $TiO_2$ and $Nb_2O_5$ powder, and using solid-state reaction method, too. The microstructure of samples were investigated by SEM, DSC, XRD and dielectric properties. Phase composition and lattice parameters were investigated by X-ray diffraction. Also, we are measure the resistivity of sintered bodies with calcinations condition.

Surface Characteristics of Anodized Ti-30Nb-xTa Alloys with Ta Content

  • The purposed of this work was to determine surface charateristics of anodized Ti-30Nb-xTa alloys with Ta content. Samples were prepared by arc melting, followed by followed by homogenization for 12 hr at $1000^{\circ}C$ in argon atmosphere. The electrolyte for anodization treatment was prepared by mixing 465ml $H_2O$ with 35M $H_3PO_4$ and anodized at 180V to 220V. The microstructures of the alloys were examined by X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and optical microscopy (OM). Surface characteristics of anodized Ti-30Nb-xTa alloys was investigated by potentiodynamic test and potentiostatic in 0.9% Nacl solution at $36.5{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. It was observed that the changed ${\alpha}$ phase to ${\beta}$ phase with Ta content.

x-cut $LiNbO_3$ 광도파로 제작 및 Ti 두께에 따른 Near-field 특성 변 화 (Preparation of x-cut $LiNbO_3$ Optical Waveguide and the Change in Near-field Properties according to Ti thickness)

  • The optical near-field patterns, propagation loss and mode sizes of x-cut $Ti:LiNbO_3$ optical waveguide which was fabricated by Ti-diffusion varying with Ti strip thickness in wet oxygen atmosphere were discussed at optical wavelength 1550nm. As Ti thickness increased from $760{\AA}$, the insertion loss of waveguide was decreased. But at Ti thickness $1500{\AA}$, mode sizes are widely broadened. The Ti thickness of below $1100{\AA}$ and above $1500{\AA}$ showed negative effects to propagation loss and fiber coupling. The best Ti thickness for fabricating low propagation loss and good fiber coupling was inferred to be between $1100{\AA}-1500{\AA}$ in our conditions. And for Ti thickness $1150{\AA}$, its propagation loss, horizontal/vertical mode sizes were showed 1.61 dB/cm, $11.9/8.9{\mu}m$ for TM, 0.22 dB/cm, $12.0/9.1{\mu}m$ for TE respectively.
