Effect of $TiO_2$ in the Lead-Zinc-Borosilicate Solder Glass ($TiO_2$ 의 첨가가 Lead-Zinc-Borosilicate 봉착 유리에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of present study is to find the structure crystallization mechanism and physical properties in $TiO_2$ containing lead zinc borosilicate glass system. The experiments such as differential thermal analysis infrared spectral analysis. X-ray diffraction analysis and thermal expansion measurements have been done. Differential thermal analysis of coarse and fine glass powder showed bulk nucleating mechanism for high $TiO_2$ containing glasses and surface nucleation mechanism for low $TiO_2$ containing glasses. The prepared glasses crystallized to crystalline mixture of PbO.2ZnO. $B_2O_3$ .4PbO.2ZnO.$5B_2O_3$and 2PbO.ZnO.$B_2O_3$ when heat-treated in the range of 480 and 51$0^{\circ}C$ and crystallized to PbTiO3 when heat-treated at $600^{\circ}C$. Obtained crystalline phase of $PbTiO_3$ in glass matrix strongly affects to thermal expansion coefficient and the value of crystallized glass varied 68.0 to $107.1{\times}10-7$/$^{\circ}C$ depending on the amount of $TiO_2$added. Infrared spectral analysis showed that [$BO_3$] triangle and [$BO_3$] tetrahedral units were coexisted in the glass with high content of PbO.

  • (1-x-y)Pb($Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-Ba(Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-PbTiO_3(0.12{\leq}x{\leq}0.21, 0.24{\leq}y{\leq}0.33$) ternary compound ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were 1050 [$^{\circ}C$], 2[hr]. Morphotropic phase boundary region was chosen for the composition. 0.55 PZN-0.21 BZN-0.24 PT specimen had the highest value of relative dielectric constants, 5353. The curie temperature of specimens were increased linearly with PT content. Near the morphotropic phase boundary, electro-mechanical coupoling factor and mechanical quality factor of the specimens had the highest values.

  • To tap the feasibility of exploiting the 2$^{nd}$ phases as flux-pinning centers in the (Bi,Pb)$_2Sr_2Ca_2CuO_{10}$ superconductor, the size and the distribution of the precipitates have been controlled by changing reaction temperature and time, oxygen partial pressure Po$_2$ and annealing condition. Various annealing heat treatments were also conducted on the as-received 61 filament Bi-2223 tapes with Bi$_{1.8}Pb_{0.4}Sr_2Ca_{2.2}Cu_3O_8$ starting composition and annealed specimen were analyzed with XRD, SEM, EDS and TEM.. The grain size of (Ca,Sr)$_2$(BiPb)O$_4$ or Bi$_{0.5}Pb_3Sr_2Ca_2CuO_{\delta}$ was controllable by optimizing the heat treatment condition and critical current density (J$_c$) showed dependence on the size of the 2$^{nd}$ phases.

  • High power piezoelectric materials are presently being extensively developed for applications such as ultrasonic motors and piezoelectric transformer In this study, the piezoelectric and dielectric properties of $MnO_2$ doped $0.36Pb(Sc_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_{3}-0.25Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-0.39PbTiO_3$ (hereafter PSNNT), which is the morphotropic phase boundary composition of the PSN-PNN-PT system were investigated. $MnO_2$-addition into the $0.36Pb(Sc_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_{3}-0.25Pb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-0.39PbTiO_3$ composition increases the piezoelectric coefficient up to $k_{p}{\fallingdotseq}$55.6[%] and $Q_{m}{\fallingdotseq}$252. Moreover, $MnO_2$ addition makes tetragonal phase more stable with respect to rhombohedral phase.

  • SrCaCuO와 BiPbCuO 화합물로 이루어진 이중층시료가 만들어 졌으며, 소결과정에서 나타나는 확산과 입자간의 상호작용으로 108K의 임계온도를 나타내었다. 이 시료는 820.deg. C에서 0-210 시간동안 소결되었다. 초전도체의 생성, 성장메카니즘과 임계온도의 관계가 연구되었으며, 최적조건은 820.deg. C에서 210시간 소결하고 SrCaCuO와 BiPbCuO의 도포비가 1:0.6인 시편에서 나타났다. 또한 이중층시료에서 가장 좋은 조성비는 S $r_{2}$C $a_{2}$C $u_{2}$ $O_{x}$와 B $i_{1.9}$P $b_{0.5}$C $u_{3}$ $O_{y}$ 이었다.다.

  • In this study (Ba1-xPbx)TiO3 was synthesized by modified oxalate process in order to prevent vaporization of PbO through low temperature synthesis climinate Cl ion reproducibly substitute Pb for by and uniformly distribute ion (Ba1-xPbx)TiO3 was synthesized by coprecipitation of lead acetate barium acetate and ammonium titanyl oxalate have been used as starting materials. The substitution of Pb for Ba was reproducibly possible synthetic temperature of perovskite structure becomes lowed as the Pb concentration increases and fine partic-les (specific surface are :7.2 cm2/g) were obtained, BaTiO3 powders calcined at 90$0^{\circ}C$ for 3 hours were cubic from in XRD analysis and as Pb content was increases evident split of tetragonal peaks could be observed The optimum conditions to synthesize (Ba,Pb)TiO3 powder are the followings ; synthesis temperature (5$^{\circ}C$)
