수온차이(水溫差異)가 수도생육(水稻生育)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of the Water Temperature Differences on Rice Growth in a Paddy Field)

  • 수온차이(水溫差異)가 수도(水稻) 생장특성(生長特性) 변화(變化)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 보기 위하여 내랭수성(耐冷水性)이 각각(各各) 다른 4개 품종(品種)(관악(冠岳)벼 농백(農白)벼 풍산벼 남풍벼)을 규암(規岩) 미사질양토(微砂質壤土)에 공시(供試)하여 수온별(水溫別)로 조사(調査)하였다. 1. 수온(水溫)에 따라 품종(品種)에 관계(關係)없이 민감(敏感)하게 변화(變化)되는 생육특성(生育特性)은 간장(稈長), 추출도(抽出度), 제(第) 3 절간직경(節稈直徑), 출수일수(出穗日數), 임실률(稔實率), 등숙율(登熟率), 수당립수, 수량등(收量等) 이었고 수장(穗長), 지엽장(止葉長), 이삭목 굵기, 수수등(穗數等)은 품종(品種)에 따라 변화(變化) 양상(樣相)이 다르나 수온(水溫)과 관계(關係)가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 2. 제(第) 2, 제(第) 3 절간장(節稈長)은 수온변화(水溫變化)에 둔감(鈍感)하나 제(第) 1 절간장(節稈長)의 신장(伸長)과 제(第) 4 절간(節稈)의 출현(出現)은 수온(水溫)에 민감(敏感)하여 간장(稈長) 결정(決定)의 주요인(主要因)으로 생각되었다. 3. 부위별건물중(部位別乾物重), 총건물중(總乾物重) 비율(比率)은 수온(水溫)에 민감(敏感)하였으며 수온(水溫)이 상승(上昇)하면 종실건물중(種實乾物重) 비율(比率)은 증가(增加)되고 경엽(莖葉)과 뿌리의 점유율(占有率)은 현저(顯著)히 감소(減少)되었다. 4. 체내(體內) 엽록소농도(葉綠素濃度)는 수온(水溫) $20^{\circ}C$에서 가장 높았고 수온증가(水溫增加)에 따라 점차(漸次) 감소(減少)되었다. 5. 수온별(水溫別) 정조수량(正租收量)은 $17^{\circ}C$에서는 개무상태(皆無狀態)이었고 품종별(品種別) 단위수온(單位水溫) 증가당 수량증대폭(水量增大幅)은 풍산>관악(冠岳)>농백(農白)>남풍 순(順)이었다. 6. 평균수온(平均水溫) $21^{\circ}C$는 수량(收量)의 적기점(赤起點)이 되었고, 다수계(多收系) 품종(品種)의 적정수온(適正水溫) 조건(條件)은 일반계(一般系)보다 높았다.

자연정화공법에 의한 인공습지에서 효과적인 축산폐수처리를 위한 최적 전처리방법 구명 (Optimum Pre-treatment Method in Constructed Wetlands by Natural Purification Method for Treating Livestock Wastewater)

  • 자연정화공법에 의한 축산폐수처리장에서 효과적으로 축산폐수를 처리하기 위해 인공습지 축산폐수처리 시스템에 전처리방법으로 수생식물여과조와 활성슬러지조를 적용하여 최적 전처리방법을 조사하였다. 또한, 최적 전처리방법을 실제 현장 축산폐수처리장에 연계하여 시공한 후 전처리방법의 효율성과 안전성을 검토하였다. 수생식물여과조와 인공습지를 연계한 소형 축산폐수처리장치에서 최종방류수 중 COD, SS, T-N 및 T-P의 처리효율은 각각 83, 89, 63 및 87%이었다. 활성슬러지조와 자연정화공법을 연계한 소형 축산폐수처리장치에서 최종방류수 중 COD, SS, T-N 및 T-P의 처리효율은 각각 96, 95, 86 및 92%이었다. 수생식물여과조 및 활성슬러지조는 인공습지 축산폐수처리장의 전처리공법으로서 질소와 인 처리효율을 향상시킬 수 있어 고농도의 축산폐수를 안정적으로 처리하기 위해 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 최적 전처리방법을 연계한 실제 현장 축산폐수처리장에서 COD, SS, T-N 및 T-P 의 처리효율은 모든 조건에서 각각 99.8, 99.9, 99.2 및 99.9%으로 높은 처리효율을 보였다.

보육시설과 유치원 급식의 식품 및 환경 미생물의 오염도 평가 (Microbiological Evaluation of Foods and Kitchen Environments in Childcare Center and Kindergarten Foodservice Operations)

  • 경기지역 12곳의 보육시설과 유치원의 식재료 및 조리식품, 환경요소에 대한 미생물 오염도 평가를 위하여 2007년 8월${\sim}10$월까지 시료를 채취하였다. 농산물 17, 수산물 3, 축산물 6, 가공식품 6, 조리식품 24로 총 56가지 시료를 대상으로 하였고, 환경은 칼, 도마, 고무장갑, 조리종사원의 손, 행주, 공중낙하균을 포함하여 총 105개를 대상으로 하였다. 식재료에 대한 미생물 분석 결과, 보육시설의 농산물에서는 시금치 I, II와 양배추 I, 콩나물, 오이가 일반세균수 5 log CFU/g 이상으로 나타났고, 시금치 I, II와 양배추, 콩나물은 장내세균도 5 log CFU/g 수준이었다. 식중독균은 시금치 I에서 C. perfringens만 1.18 log CFU/g로 검출되었다. 수산물은 냉동오징어에서 일반세균만 5.87 log CFU/g로 검출되었다. 축산물에서 대장균군과 장내세균은 돼지고기와 닭고기에서만 각각 $2.38{\sim}5.15$, $2.30{\sim}3.14\;\log\;CFU/g$로 검출 되었고, 대장균은 대부분의 식재료에서 2 log CFU/g 정도로 높게 검출되었다. 가공식품 중 두부는 일반세균수가 7.46 log CFU/g로 높게 나타났다. 유치원의 농산물에서는 깻잎의 일반세균수와 대장균군수가 각각 7.04, 4.98 log CFU/g로 검출 되었다. 연근에서는 식중독균인 C. perfringens가 2.01 log CFU/g로 검출되었다. 수산물 중 조기는 일반세균만 3.39 log CFU/g로 나타났고, 오징어는 일반세균과 장내세균만 각각 4.89, 4.21 CFU/g로 나타났다. 축산물에서 쇠고기는 일반세균 4.22, 장내세균 2.53, 대장균군 2.43, 대장균 1.90 log CFU/g로 검출되었다. 가공식품 중 냉동고기산적에서는 4 log CFU/g 이상의 일반세균수가 검출되었으며, 대장균이 0.66 log CFU/g로 검출되어 기준에 적합하지 않았다. 쥐어채는 일반세균 5.58, 장내세균 4.12, 대장균군 3.72, 대장균이 1.69 log CFU/g로 검출되었다. 조리식품 중 비가열 조리공정 식품은 보육시설에서는 일반세균이 모두 적합수준이었으나 장내세균은 오이무침에서만 4.23 log CFU/g 검출되었다. 유치원에서는 배추겉절이에서 일반세균, 장내세균이 기준에 적합하지 않았다. 오이부추무침은 장내세균만 기준에 적합하지 않았다. 가열조리 후처리공정 식품은 보육시설의 경우 시금치나물 I에서 일반세균수와 장내세균수가 각각 6,5 log CFU/g 이상이었고, 시금치나물 II에서 장내세균이 2 log CFU/g 이상으로 검출되어 기준을 벗어났다. 가열조리 공정 식품은 보육시설, 유치원 모두 기준에 적합하였다. 조리과정에서 식품과 접촉할 수 있는 칼에서는 보육시설의 1 곳에서만 채소용 칼과 육류용 칼에서 기준치를 크게 넘어섰다. 도마에서는 보육시설의 경우 일반세균수는 채소도마에서 2곳이 허용치 이상으로 나타났고, 육류용 도마에서는 1곳이 4.43 log CFU/cm2로 검출되었다. 대장균군은 육류도마에서만 1곳에서 2.59 log CFU/cm2로 검출되었다. 유치원의 경우 1곳의 육류도마에서 일반세균과 대장균군이 기준에 적합 하지 않았다. 세척용 고무장갑에서는 보육시설의 경우 일반세균이 $1.58{\sim}6.04\;\log;CFU$/hand로 검출되었고, 1곳에서 장내세균과 대장균군이 각각 2.44, 1.58 log CFU/hand로 나타났다. 유치원은 4곳 모두 일반세균이 $1.80{\sim}3.19\;\log;CFU$/hand로 검출되었고, 그 중 2곳에서는 장내세균, 대장균군이 각각 $1.75{\sim}1.96$, $1.27{\sim}1.52\;\log\;CFU/g$로 나타났다. 조리용 고무장갑은 보육시설 1곳에서만 일반세균이 4.43 log CFU/hand로 검출되었다. 조리종사자의 손은 보육시설에서 일반세균수 $0{\sim}5.42\;\log\;CFU$/hand로 검출되었고, 장내세균 $0{\sim}4.30$, 대장균군 $0{\sim}3.78\;\log\;CFU$/hand로 검출되었다. 유치원에서는 9명 중 8명이 일반세균 ND ${\sim}4.00\;\log\;CFU$/hand로 검출되었고, 장내세균과 대장균군은 1명이 각각 1.99, 1.84 log CFU/hand로 검출되었다. 행주에서는 일반세균이 보육시설에서 $5.03{\sim}5.44\;\log\;CFU/g$ 범위로 나타났다. 영유아 급식 조리장 내 공중낙하세균 분석 결과 기준초과구역으로는 보육시설 1곳, 유치원 1곳이 각각 2.25, 2.30 log CFU/plate/15 min으로 검출되었고, 그중 유치원 1곳은 장내세균이 1.43 log CFU/plate/15 min로 검출되었다. 이상의 연구결과, 조사 대상 보육시설과 유치원의 일부 식재료는 높은 오염도를 보였으므로 이들 고위험 식재료에 대해서는 납품업체 선정 및 검수 기준 마련과 지도가 필요하다. 조리공정 별로는 비가열조리 및 가열조리 후처리 공정을 거치는 일부음식에 대한 온도관리 및 교차오염 방지 방안의 제시가 필요하며, 미생물 오염도가 높은 식품 접촉 표면에 의한 교차오염을 예방하기 위해서는 세척 및 소독방법의 기준이 제시되어 위생관리 수준을 향상시킬 수 있어야 할 것이다.

선형가속기의 10년간 가동률과 고장률에 관한 통계분석 (Statistical Analysis of Operating Efficiency and Failures of a Medical Linear Accelerator for Ten Years)

  • 목적: 방사선치료의 핵심 장비인 선형가속기의 10년간 고장 기록을 분석하여 효율적인 관리 지표로 활용하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 1994년 4월부터 2004년 12월까지 10년 8개월간 의공기술과에서 기록한 장비 수리일지와 사용자가 기록한 업무일지의 내용을 통계분석을 통해 관리실태를 분석했다. 장비 장애 요인을 다각적으로 분석하기 위해 고장 원인을 치료기 부위별로 세분했고, 고장 발생 시 치료업무에 미치는 영향에 따라 세 단계로 구분하여 조사했다. 또한, 장비 사용량이 고장에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 연간 치료 환자 수와 고장건수, 중요 부속의 평균 수명, 수리비용 등을 분석했다. 결과: 10년간 발생한 전체 고장건수는 587건이였으며, 이중 조사헤드부의 고장이 전체 건수의 $20\%$ 차지해 가장 높게 나타났고, 고장이 미치는 영향에서는 일시적 장애에 해당하는 '조사능력 저하'상태의 고장이 $41\%$를 차지해 가장 높았다. 고장 부위에 따른 장애 영향 분석에서는 장애 등급이 가장 높은 '조사 불가능'상태의 고장이 가속부에서 전체 건수의 약 $10\%$를 차지해 가장 높게 나타났으며, 고장과 관련된 각종 지표 및 수리비용은 사용연수 및 치료건수가 증가함에 따라 함께 증가했다. 중요 부속의 평균 수명은 클라이스트론과 싸이라트론의 경우 치료건수가 증가함에 따라 교체 주기가 빨라져 각각 제조사 권고치의 $42\%,\;83\%$ 수준이었다. 결론; 안정적인 치료서비스 제공을 위해서는 사용 연수가 증가함에 따라 장비 관리의 필요성이 더욱 중요시되어야하며, 10년간 장비 관리기록을 통해 얻은 각종 지표가 향후 예방적 관리의 좋은 지침이 될 것으로 생각된다.방사선으로 인한 폐손상 시에 항섬유증 약물로의 사용가능성을 확인하였다.방향으로 2.1 mm, 그리고 SI 방향으로 1.7 mm이다. 결론: 연구 결과 SSD, CLD, 클립의 움직임 및 isocenter의 위치변화 측면에서 분석될 경우 그다지 큰 오차는 발생하지 않았음을 보여준다. 그러므로 본 연구결과 유방암 환자의 경우 진단용 CT를 사용한다 하더라도 준비오차는 모의 CT를 사용하는 경우와 비교하여 차이가 없음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 모의치료와 CT스캔 사이의 준비오차를 감소하기 위해서는 CT 영상 획득 시 환자 위치고정에 특별한 주의를 기울여야 한다.EX>$\alpha/\beta$=10인 경우 $62.0\~121.9\;Gy_{10}$ (중앙값: $93.0\;Gy_{10}$)의 분포를, ${\alpha/\beta}=3$인 경우 $93.6\~187.3\;Gy_3$ (중앙값=$137.6\;Gy_3$ )의 분포를 보였다. MD-BED $Gy_3$는 직장합병증 발생과의 관계는 통계적으로 유의하였고, 방광합병증과는 유의하지 않았다. 직장합병증과의 연관성은 MD-BED $Gy_3$보다 개별 환자의 직장전벽 총 선량 BED값인 R-BED $Gy_3$가 훨씬 더 높았다. 요도카테터 풍선의 후방지점이 대변하는 방광의 총 선량 BED값인 V-BED $Gy_3$도 방광합병증과 경향성 테스트에서 통계적 유의성을 보였다. 하지만, 어떠한 방사선선량도 골반제어율과 의미 있는 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 본 기관에서 주치의의 선호도에 따라 강내근접치료가 외부방사선치료의 중간에 시행되는

농촌, 도시 및 집단생활 아동의 요충 감염과 집단 구충에 의한 예방 효과 (Prevalence of Enteyobius vermiculuris infection and preventive effects of masts treatment among children in rural and urban areas, and children in orphanages)

  • 강원도 원주 지역 학등에 대하여 환경을 달리하는 4군을 adhesive cellotape anal swab 법으로 충란 검출률을 조사하였고 감염 집단에 대하여 구충제의 반착 투여로 감염률의 감소 현황과 재감염 을 관찰하였다. 1. 충란 검출률(1회 검사)은 19.9%(1,262명중 251명 양성, 남 19.7%, 여 20.1%)였으며 지역과 환경이 다른 산간 지역 13.0%, 농촌 지역 11.9%, 중 도시 15. l%, 집단생활 아동 61.9%로 나타났다. 2. 국민학생은 저학년(유치만 및 1,2학년생)에서 검출률(26.2∼32.2%)이 높았고 그 외는 최저 (6학년 생) 13.6%이었다. 3. 반복 검사(4∼5일 간격 3회)에 의한 누적 검출률은 높았으나(최초 58.5%에서 70.8%로) 매회의 검출률은 비슷한 비율(50.0%∼59.2%)을 보였다. 4. 반복검사 3회의 누적 검출률(70.8%, 130명 검사) 중 계속 양성자는 평균 39.2%이었다. 그리고 충란 검출률이 높은 군(87.5%)일수록 그 비율(71.9%)은 높았다. 5. 충란 양성자 17명에서 구충제 투여로 2,609마리 (성비는 12.4 : 1)의 충체를 수집하였다. 이는 평균 153마리 (4∼824범위) 감염에 해당된다. 6. 집단에 대하여 매회 충란 양성자에만 구충제를 투여 (3주간격 6회)한 바 양성률은 최초 54.8% (180명중)에서 15주 후에 2.3%로 감소되었으나 완전한 구충 효과는 얻지 못하였다. 그러나 매회 전 집단(양성자, 음성자 같이)에 대한 구충제 투여 (3주간격)에서는 4회 (9주째) 검사때 전부 음성으로 나타났다. 7. 국민학교 학생 양성자의 형제자매 중 충란 검출률은 70.0%(40명 중 28명)이었다. 가족 단위로는 69.7%의 같은 비율로 높았다. 이상으로 요충 감염은 아직까지 높은 상태임을 알았고 예방을 위한 집단 구충에는 전 집단에 대한 3회 이상의 반복구충이 효과적이었다. gas layers is also made. 벼의 Source 및 Sink형질의 품종간차이와 환경변이의 평가 (Evaluation of Varietal Difference and Environmental Variation for Some Characters Related to Source and Sink in the Rice Plants)

  • 수도의 source 및 sink관련형질의 품종간 차이를 평가함에 있어서 semi-dwarf indica 및 japonica 조.중만생 10품종 및 semi-dwarf indica 4개 조.만 near-isogenic계통을 각각 네 작기 및 두 작기로 재배하여 수확된 벼 종자를 비중 1.0에서 1.21까지 각 비중별 입수와 입중을 조사, potential kernel size의 결정기준을 설정하고자 했으며, 이 중 semi-dwarf indica 6개 품종을 대상으로 수개 source 및 sink 관련형질의 개체내 및 개체간변이를 조사, 분석하여 품종간차이평가를 위한 효율적인 표본채취방법에 대해서 검토해 보았고, 그 중 3개 신품종과 그들 F$_{5}$계통들에 대한 연차변이 및 품종$\times$환경간 교호작용을 파악함과 동시에 주연개체와 내부개체간의 sink 특성을 비교하여 자체경쟁력의 계통간차이를 평가하고자 했다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. Potential kernel size는 semi-dwarf indica 및japonica 품종 모두 비중 1.15이상인 벼 알의 평균입중으로 결정하는 것이 바람직하다. 2. 분얼의 분화순차와 세력(이삭크기)에 따라 나누어 본 3개경군(강.중.약)간에는 경당엽면적, 수당영화수 및 수당 sink 용량이 현저한 차이를 보였고, 종실축적율, 등숙충실도, potential kernel size 및 sink/source ratio는 강세경과 중세경간에는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 약세경과는 현저한 차이를 보였는데 품종에 따라서 형질별로 약간씩 그 경향을 달리했다. 3. Source 및 sink 관련형질에 있어서 경군내변이 계수는 강세경<중세경<약세경의 순으로 컸고 전형질에 대한 평균유전율은 약세경 <중세경 <강세경의 순으로 커서 강세경을 개체의 대표치로 품종간변이를 평가하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 생각되었다. 4. 세 신품종의 '82-'83년간 연차변이는 경당엽면적, 주당수수, 엽면적지수 및 정조수량을 제외한 모든 형질에서 유의하게 인정되었으며 년차$\times$품종간 교호작용이 현저히 유의했던 형질은 출수까지 생육일수, 경당엽면적, sink/source ratio, 경당 sink용량 및 수량이었다. 5. 수원 264호/IR1317-70-1 및 내경/IR 1317-70-1 조합에서 선발된 F$_{5}$계통 및 신품종들의 10개 source 및 sink관련형질을 중심으로 주성분 분석을 실시하여 년차간 총합적인 특성의 변이양상을 살펴 본 결과 대체로 '82년에 비해 '83년에 source 및 sink의 양면적인 감소경향을 나타냈는데 제1 및 제 2주성분좌표상에서 년차간 변이정도에 상당한 차이를 보이면서 신품종과 유사한 방향 또는중간형 반응을 보이는 다양한 계통간 차이를 나타냈다. 6. 주연효과가 현저했던 것은 주당영화수, 수당 sink용량 및 종실축적률이었고 potential kernel size는 거의 차이가 없었는데, 특히 수당영화수 및 sink용량에 대한 주연효과정도는 계통에 따라 상당한 차이를 보였다. 계통의 자체경쟁정도는 출수후보다는 출수전 생식생장기간에 더욱 심하고 계통간차이도 큰 것 같았다. 일반적으로 수당sink용량이 클수록 출수전 자체경쟁정도가 심한 경향이었으나 계통에 따라서는 수당 sink용량이 작으면서 자체경쟁도가 심한 것(수원264호 등)이 있는 반면에 수당sink용량이 크면서 자체경쟁도가 심하지 않은 계통도 있었다.

  • 해외(海外) 선진국(先進國)에서의 임목육종(林木育種)의 실정(實情)과 기(其) 동향(動向)을 견개(見開)하고 금후(今後) 우리나라 임목육종(林木育種)의 취진(就進)에 있어서 반드시 고려(考慮) 또는 실시(實施)되어야할 사항(事項)들에 의하여 고찰(考察)한 결과(結果) 다음과 같은 결론(結論)을 얻었다. 1. 유전자(遺傳子) 보존(保存)을 위한 천연림(天然林)의 보존(保存) 선진제국(先進諸國)에서 천연림(天然林)의 이용개발(利用開發)이 성행(盛行)됨과 아울러 유전자(遺傳子)의 보존(保存)을 목적(目的)으로 하는 일부(一部) 천연림(天然林)의 지역별(地域別) 보존책(保存策)을 채택(採擇)하고 있는 실정(實情)에 비추어서 우리나라와 같이 천연림(天然林)이 거의 탕진(蕩盡)되고 있는 실정하(實情下)에서는 강송(剛松), 잣나무, 섬잣나무, 사시나무, 피나무 등(等) 자생수종(自生樹種)의 천연림(天然林)의 일부(一部)를 유전자보존림(遺傳子保存林)으로 확보(確保)하는 조처(措處)가 긴급(緊急)히 이루어져야할 일이다. 또한 우리나라 고유수종(固有樹種)에 대(對)한 천연림(天然林)의 구성(構成)과 기(其) 발달과정(發達過程)에 대(對)한 연구(硏究)도 근래(近來) 새 수단(手段)으로 등장(登場)한 isozyme의 연구(硏究)에 의(依)하여 수행(遂行)되어야 할 문제(問題)이다. 2. 수형목(秀型木) 수(數)의 증가(增加) 현하(現下) 우리나라의 수형목(秀型木) 수(數)는 기(其) 선발강도(選拔强度)가 지나치게 강(强)하였던 탓으로 그 수(數)가 소(小)하여 이에 의(依)한 채종원(採種園)은 일차조림용(一次造林用)으로는 가(可)하나 이대채종원(二代採種園)을 위(爲)한 모수(母樹)의 선택대상(選擇對象)으로는 중복선발(重複選拔)이 될 우려(憂慮)가 큰 고(故)로 선발강도(選拔强度)를 연화(軟化)하여서 기(其) 본수(本數)를 대폭(大幅) 증가(增加)시킬 필요(必要)가 있다. 3. 차대검정(次代檢定) 특수조합능력(特殊組合能力)을 강조(强調)해야 할 특별(特別)한 경우를 제외(除外)하고는 수형목(秀型木)의 풍매종자(風媒種子)에 의(依)한 차대검정(次代檢定)을 위주(爲主)로 함이 적당(適當)하다고 사료(思料)되나, 차대검정(次代檢定)의 연한(年限) 단축(短縮)을 위(爲)하여서 임목(林木)의 중요형질(重要形質)에 대(對)한 조기검정(早期檢定)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)가 중요(重要)한 과제(課題)로서 다루어져야만 할것이다. 이와 관련(關聯)하여 zymography의 활용성(活用性) 연구(硏究)도 중요(重要)한 일이다. 4. 유전자형(遺傳子型)과 환경(環境)과의 교호작용(交互作用)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) 종래(從來) 사실상(事實上) 입지조건(立地條件)이 양호(良好)한 임분(林分)에서 선발(選拔)된 수형목(秀型木)이 요박(療薄)한 임지(林地)에서도 그 우수성(優秀性)을 나타내는지의 여부(如否)를 구명(究明)하므로서 특수입지(特殊立地)를 위(爲)한 별도채종원조성(別途採種園造成)의 필요성(必要性) 유무(有無)를 하루속(速)히 구명(究明)해야하며 우리나라의 육종구(育種區)에 대(對)한 재확인(再確認)과 그 적용(適用)이 요청(要請)되는 일이다. 5. 윤엽수(潤葉樹)의 채종원(採種園) 천연림(天然林)의 구성분자(構成分子)로서 생장력(生長力)의 비교(比較)가 곤란(困難)한 윤엽수(潤葉樹)에 대(對)하여서는 외국(外國)에서 실시(實施)하는 바를 참고(參考)하여 선발목간(選拔木間)의 교잡차대(交雜次代)로서 차대검정림(次代檢定林)을 설치(設置)한후 이를 도태(陶汰) seedling seed orchard로 유도(誘導)하는 방법(方法)을 취(取)함이 가(可)하다고 사료(思料)된다. 6. 내병충성(耐病蟲性) 육종(育種) 소나무좀벌레, 솔잎흑파리 등(等) 충해(蟲害)와 낙엽송(落葉松)의 낙엽병(落葉病)과 포푸라 현병(鉉病) 등(等)은 유전자(遺傳子)에 의(依)하여 지배(支配)되는 것이 구명(究明)되고 있어 이에 대(對)한 내병충성(耐病蟲性) 육종(育種)을 계획실시(計劃實施)함을 요(要)한다. 7. 재질(材質) 특(特)히 목재비중(木材比重)에 대(對)한 육종(育種) 특(特)히 pulp 용재(用材)를 목적(目的)으로 하는 수종(樹種)에 대(對)하여서는 선진각국(先進各國)에 비추어서 목재비중(木材比重)에 대(對)한 육종(育種)의 실시(實施)가 요청(要請)된다. 8. 삼나무(Cryptomeria japonica) 및 편백(Chamaecyparis obtusa)의 도입(導入) 삼나무와 편백은 현재(現在) 남부(南部) 난대지대(暖帶地帶)에 국한(局限)하여 조림(造林)하고 있으나 일본(日本)에 있어서의 양수종(兩樹種)의 조림한계(造林限界)가 예상이상(豫想以上)으로 한냉(寒冷)한 지대(地帶)까지 실시(實施)되고 있는 실정(實定)에 비추어서 상기(上記) 양수종(兩樹種)에 대(對)한 도입시험(導入試驗)을 종래(從來)보는 한냉(寒冷)한 지대(地帶)까지 확대실시(擴大實施)할 필요(必要)가 있다고 인정(認定)되었다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. High Resolution HC$_3$N Observations toward the Central Region of Sagittarius B2

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100,300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury.
