생체 이식형 의료기기의 패키징을 위한 완전 밀폐 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hermetic Method for Packaging of Implantable Medical Device)

  • This paper introduces a biocompatible packaging system for implantable medical device having a hermetic sealing, such that a perfect physical and chemical isolation between electronic medical system and human body (including tissue, body fluids, etc.) is obtained. The hermetic packaging includes an electronic MEMS pressure sensor, power charging system, and bluetooth communication system to wirelessly measure variation of capacitance. The packaging was acquired by Quartz direct bonding and $CO_2$ laser welding, with a size of width $ 6cm{\times}length\;10cm{\times}lheight\;3cm$. Hermetic sealing of the packaged system was tested by changing the pressure in a hermetic chamber using a precision pressure controller, from atmospheric to 900 mmHg. We found that the packaged system retained the same count or capacitance values with sensor 1 - 25,500, sensor 2 - 26,000, and sensor 3 - 20,800, at atmospheric as well as 900 mmHg pressure for 5 hours. This result shows that the packaging method has perfect hermetic sealing in any environment of the human body pressure.

  • 본 논문에서는 1 KW CW CO$_{2}$레이저 발생자장치를 사용하여 표면경화 처리 를 행할때 공정과 관련된 변수들이 용접부 및 표면경화층에 미치는 영향들을 이론과 실험을 통해서 규명하고, 이 결과들을 실제공정에 사용할 수 있는 기초자료로서 제시 하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 해석에 사용될 수 있는 유한요소법(Finite Element Meth- od)에 근거한 2차원 열유동 해석용 프로그램 및 데이타 처리 프로그램을 개발하고, 중 탄소강에 레이저 표면처리를 수행하여 실험 및 이론해석의 결과를 비교 검토하였다. 비교 검토하여 그 설정기준을 고찰하였다.

  • Titanium and titanium alloy are excellent in corrosion resistance and specific intensity, and also in the biocompatibility. On the other hand, the brazing is bonding method of which productivity and reliability are high, when the complicated and precise structure of the thin plate is constructed. However, though conventional titanium-based brazing filler metal was excellent in bond strength and corrosion resistance, it was disadvantageous that metal structure and mechanical property of the base metal deteriorated, since the brazing temperature (about 1000 C) is considerably high. Authors developed new brazing filler metal which added Zr to Ti-Cu (-Ni) alloy which can be brazed at 900 C or less about 15 years ago. In this paper, the development of more low-melting-point brazing filler metal was tried by the addition of the fourth elements such as Ni, Co, Cr for the Ti-Zr-Cu alloy. As a method for finding the low-melting-point composition, eutectic composition exploration method was used in order to reduce the experiment point. As the result, several kinds of new brazing filler metal such as 37.5Ti-37.5-Zr-25Cu alloy (melting point 825 C) and 30Ti-43Zr-25Cu-2Cr alloy (melting point: 825 C) was developed. Then, the brazing joint showed the characteristics which were almost equal to the base metal from the result of obtaining metallic structure and strength of joint of brazing joint. However, the brazing filler metal composition of the melting point of 820 C or less could not be found. Consequentially, it was clarified that the brazing filler metal developed in this study could be practically sufficiently used from results such as metal structure of brazing joint and tensile test of the joint.

  • 배기가스의 배출을 현저하게 저감시켜 강화된 환경규제에 적합한 DF 엔진의 고압 가연성 가스를 공급하기 위한 이중관 가스 벨로우즈의 연구개발에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최적화된 이중관 벨로우즈의 개발을 위한 것으로, 내식성재료인 오스테나이트계 스테인리스강에 대하여 이중관으로 벨로우즈화하는 성형방법과 최적화된 용접 조건을 도출하여 다양한 성능평가를 통해 생산된 시제품의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 제1보에서는 최적화된 벨로우즈를 설계하기 위하여 구조설계, 좌굴해석 및 응력해석을 통해 좌굴 발생 하중 및 벨로우즈 응력을 해석하였다. 그 결과 엠보싱 형상을 가진 벨로우즈의 경우 좌굴 발생 하중이 약 1.6배 증가하였으며, 최대 설계압력보다 2배인 30.0 bar에서 어떠한 좌굴 및 스컴이 발생하지 않는다는 것을 확인하였다.

SPR 접합법을 이용한 Al-5052 인장-전단 시험편의 피로강도 (Fatigue Strength of Al-5052 Tensile-Shear Specimens using a SPR Joining Method)

  • Self-piercing riveting(SPR) is a mechanical fastening technique which is put pressure on the rivet for joining the sheets. Unlike a spot welding, SPR joining does not make the harmful gas and $CO_2$ and needs less energy consumption. In this study, static and fatigue tests were conducted using tensile-shear specimens with Al-5052 plates for evaluation of fatigue strength of the SPR joints. During SPR joining process for the specimen, using the current sheet thickness and a rivet, the optimal applied punching force was found to be 21 kN. And, the maximum static strength of the specimen produced at the optimal punching force was 3430 N. During the fatigue tests for the specimens, interface failure mode occurred on the top substrate close to the rivet head in the most high-loading range region, but on the bottom substrate close to the rivet tail in the low -loading range region. There was a relationship between applied load amplitude $P_{amp}$ and lifetime of cycle N for the tensile-shear, $P_{amp}=3395.5{\times}N^{-0.078}$. Using the stress-strain curve of the Al-5052 from tensile test, the simulations for fatigue specimens have been carried out using the implicit finite element code ABAQUS. The relation between von-Mises equivalent stress amplitude and number of cycles was found to be ${\sigma}_{eq}=514.7{\times}N^{-0.033}$.

복합소재를 활용한 B필러 강화재의 구조해석 및 설계 (Structural Analysis and Design of B-pillar Reinforcement using Composite Materials)

  • 본 논문은 차량에 사용되는 B필러의 강화재를 기존의 스틸 소재에서 CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics)와 GFRP(Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics)로 대체하여 경량화하는 것이 목표다. 이를 위해서는 무게는 감소시키면서 기존 B필러를 대체할 수 있는 구조안정성을 확보해야 한다. 기존 B필러는 스틸 아우터(outer)를 포함하여 다양한 형상의 스틸 강화재로 구성되며, 이와 같은 스틸 강화재 중 2가지의 스틸 강화재를 복합재로 대체하고자 한다. 이와 같은 스틸 강화재는 강화재 각각을 따로 제작하여 용접을 통해 결합되지만, 복합재 강화재는 패치(patch) 형태의 CFRP와 리브(rib) 구조의 GFRP를 활용하여 압축과 사출 공정을 통해 한번에 제작된다. CFRP는 B필러의 고강도부에 부착되어 측면 하중에 저항하도록 하였으며, GFRP 리브는 위상 최적화(Topology optimization) 기법을 통해 비틀림과 측면 하중을 저항하도록 설계하였다. 구조해석을 통해 기존 스틸 강화재와 비교 분석을 수행하였고, 경량화율을 산출하였다.

전처리방법에 따른 불용성 6가 크롬 분석에 관한 연구 (Pretreatment Effect on the Analysis of Insoluble Hexavalent Chromium)

  • Hexavalent chromium($Cr^{+6}$) compounds are considered to be particularly hazardous, primarily because of the associated risk of allergic reaction and cancer. The analytic method of hexavalent chromium such as the s-diphenylcarba-zide(DPC) method and all ether previously used methods are often made uncertain due to significant interferences from organic components. This report can provide a technique for the more rapid and simple determination of total hexavalent chromium. than other currently using methods. The s-diphenylcarbazide method proposed by the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has low recovery rate(15.67 - 48.20%) due to interference, iron chloride and nickel chloride. A microwave oven technique has high recovery rate(about 70%) of insoluble hexavalent chromium. For the difference of ionic charges of $Cr^{+3}$-ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA) chelate and $CrO_4{^{-2}}$, we could detect them simultaneously by ion exchanged high performance liquid chromatography. The confirmation of $Cr^{+3}$ and $Cr^{+6}$ were checked by fraction collector and flameless atomic absorption spectrometer. We observed that the small amount of hexavalent chromium is converted to trivalent chromium due to enhancement of chromium reduction by $Fe^{+3}$ or $Ni^{+2}$. As a result of this study, on the analysis of insoluble hexavalent chromium with microwave oven was used for, it may be better and more precise analysis after pretreatment by 2% NaOH-3% $Na_2CO_3$ and then analysis UV-spectrophotometer. It should be done for various studies on insoluble hexavalent chromium on the basis work environmental monitoring so called welding, painting etc.

SGAFC1180 TRIP강재의 저항 점용접성 평가 (Evaluation of Resistance Spot Weldability of SGAFC1180 Steel)

  • 자동차 산업에서는 환경 문제와 국제 유가 상승 등으로 인한 차량 경량화에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라 알루미늄 합금과 특수 소재 등이 차량 중량을 줄이는데 활용되고 있지만 비용과 강도 측면에서 철강소재를 극복하기 에는 여전히 많은 어려움이 있다. 따라서 강도와 성형성이 좋은 AHSS(Advanced High Strength Steel) 소재의 적용이 증가하고 있다. 특히 운전자 보호를 위한 안전 규제가 강화되면서 센터필러 (Center Pillar), 루프레일 (Roof Rail) 부분에 1.2GPa급 초고강도 강재의 적용이 점차 늘어나고 있으며 이종강재에 대한 자동차 차체 적용 또한 점차 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 SGAFC1180 1.2t 강재의 저항 점용접성 및 용접부의 특성을 파악하였다. 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 너깃의 생성 및 성장 거동을 관찰하였으며 예측 성능은 오차율 10% 이내에서 유사한 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 이러한 거동이 공정변수인 동저항에 미치는 영향을 파악하였고 전단인장강도 및 너깃 직경과의 상관관계를 고찰하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 동저항의 패턴을 인식하여 패턴의 형태에 따라 용접 상태를 분류하고 용접 품질을 판단하는 시스템도 제안할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

건설 현장 악력 작업안전 기준 설정에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Establishing Criteria of Gripping Work in Construction Site)

  • Now, safety assurance in construction sites should be accomplished by its own organization rather than control of the code or government. It is believed that the safety assurance can be considerably improved by a lecture or an education using the existing theories or literatures up to now, but it is thought that fundamental safety assurance we not able to be accomplished without developing safety devices '||'&'||' equipment or taking fundamental measures, based on the result analyzed from workers behaviors. There are various behaviors of the workers showed in construction site, but only tests for hammerusing works such as form, re-bar, stone workers directly related to the grip strength are mainly performed, investigated and measured here for the study. The above works are similar to power grip, 7th picture on seven items which are categorized for hand grip types(Ammermin 1956 ; Jones ; Kobrick 1958). Measurements of grip strength are commonly taken in anthropometric surveys. They are easy to administer but unfortunately it is rather dubious whether they yield any data that are of interest to the engineer. Very fewer controls of tools are grasped and squeesed studies showed very little overall correlation between grip strength and other measures of bodily strength (Laubach, Kromer, and Thordsen 1972), but hammer-using work which is practically progressed in construction site are mainly influenced with grip strength. According to the investigation on work measurement, it is shown that 77% of form worker are using hammer to be related to grip strength. In this study, it is particularly noticed that wearing safety gloves in construction site is required for workers safety but 20% difference between grip strength with safety gloves and without ones are commonly neglected in the site(Fig. 1). Nevertheless, safety operation with consideration of the above 20% difference is not considered in the construction site. Factors of age, kinds of work, working time, with or without safety gloves are in vestigated '||'&'||' collected at the sites for this study. Test, not at each working hour but at 14 : 00 when the almost all of the workers think the most tired, resulting from the questionaires, also when it is shown on the research report has been performed and compared for main kinds of works : form '||'&'||' re-bar work. Tests were performed with both left SE rightand of the workers simultaneously in construction site using Rand Dynamometer(Model 78010, Lafayette Instrument Co., Indiana, U.S.A) by reading grip strength on the gauge while they are pulling, and then by interviewing on their ages, works, experiences and etc., directly. The above tests have been performed for the dates of 15th march-26th May '95 with consideration of site condition. And even if various factors of ambient temperature on the testing date, working condition, individual worker's habit and worker's condition of the previous ate are concerned with the study. Those are considered as constants in this study. Samples are formwork 53, rebar 62, electrician 5, plumber 4, welding 1 from D construction Co., Ltd, ; formwork 12, re-bar 5, electrician 2, from S construction Co., Ltd, , formwork 78, re-bar 18, plumber 31, electrician 13, labor 48, plumber 31, plasterer 15, concrete placer 6, water proof worker 3, maisony 5 from B construction Co., Ltd. As In the previously mentioned, main aspect to be investigated in this study will be from '||'&'||' re-bar work because grip strength will be directly applied to these two kinds of works ; form '||'&'||' re-bar work, eventhough there are total 405 samples taken. It is thought that a frequency of accident occurrence will be mainly two work postures "looking up '||'&'||' looking down" to be mainly sorted, but this factor is not clarified in this study because It will be needed a lot of work more. Tests has been done at possible large scale of horizontally work-extended sites within one hour in order to prevent or decrease errors '||'&'||' discrepancies from time lag of the test. Additionally, the statistical package computer program SPSS PC+has been used for the study.

페리퍼럴어레이 플립칩의 온도 분포 특성 (Temperature Measurement of Flip Chip Joints with Peripheral Array of Solder Bumps)

  • 페리퍼럴 어레이 플립칩의 온도 분포를 실측하여 열원의 기하학적 형상, 소자의 크기, 그리고 보호막 개구 크기 변화에 따른 소자의 열 성능을 측정하였다. 열원의 크기가 작고, 플립칩 솔더 범프에서 먼 중앙 열원의 경우가 전 면적 열원에 비해서 소자의 온도가 매우 높았다. 여기에 더해, 보호막 개구의 모양 변화에 의한 접촉 면적의 증가를 통해 소자의 최대 온도를 낮출 수가 있었다. 중앙 열원을 갖고 원형 개구에 2 (watts)의 전력이 가해지는 경우, $3(mm)\times3(mm)$크기 소자의 최대 온도는 약 $110(^{\circ}C)$이고, 이에 반해 $1.5(mm)\times1.8(mm)$ 크기 소자의 최대 온도는 약 $90(^{\circ}C)$ 이었다. 또한 보호막 개구의 모양을 원형 개구에서 잘린 사각형 개구로 변화시키면서 접촉 면적을 증가시킨 경우, $3(mm)\times3(mm)$ 크기의 소자와 중앙 열원을 갖는 경우에서 약 $10(^{\circ}C)$의 온도 감소를 나타내었다. 따라서 열원 소자의 위치와 크기, 소자의 크기, 그리고 개구 면적에 따른 솔더의 접촉 면적에 따라 플립칩의 열 성능이 현격한 차이를 나타내고 있음을 알 수 있다.
