In order to improve organic vapor separation efficiency of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) membrane, various zeolites (zeolite 4A, zeolite 13X and natural zeolite) were introduced into a thin PDMS film. The measurements of permeability and selectivity of zeolite-filled PDMS membranes were carried out with a CO$_2$gas and a CO$_2$gas/acetic acid vapor mixture, respectively. The CO$_2$permeability of zeolite-filled membranes decreased with increasing zeolite content and then recovered up to 30 wt% content. The effect of zeolite type on the improvement of CO$_2$permeability was found to be in the order of zeolite 13X > natural zeolite > 4A. The CO$_2$selectivity of zeolite-filled membranes was enhanced up to 9 times compared with the selectivity of a pure (unfilled) PDMS membrane. The effect of zeolite type on the improvement of CO$_2$selectivity was found to be in the order of natural zeolite > zeolite 13X > zeolite 4A.

The effect of TiC content on oxidation behavior of the sintered WC-TiC-TaC alloys with 2 mass% TaC and different TiC amounts of 3-45 mass% was investigated through oxidation tests in air at 973K. As a result of the tests, it was revealed that with increasing TiC content in the alloys, mass changes caused by oxidation and thickness of the scale decreased. Thus, it is considered that the main component of the scales changed gradually from $WO_3$ to $TiO_2$ with increasing TiC content in the alloys, and oxygen diffusion through the scale to the alloys was inhibited gradually.

Study on clean and efficient utilization technology for low rank coal with high moisture content is actively ongoing due to limited reserves of petroleum and of high grade coal and serious climate change caused by fossil fuel usage. In the present study, supercritical water gasification of low rank coal was performed. With increasing reaction temperature, content of combustible gases such as $H_2$ and $CH_4$ in the syngas increased while the $CO_2$ content decreased. As the reaction pressure increased from 210 to 300 bar, the $CO_2$ content in the syngas increased while the hydrocarbon gas content decreased. The $H_2$ and $CH_4$ content in the syngas increased slightly with pressure. With the addition of Pd, Pt, and Ru catalysts, it was possible to improve the production of $H_2$. Moreover, the increase of active metal content in the catalyst increased the $H_2$ productivity. The Ru catalyst shows the best performance for increasing the $H_2$ content in the syngas, while decreasing the $CO_2$ content.

The synthesis of Fischer-Tropsch oil is the catalytic hydrogenation of CO to give a range of products, which can be used for the production of high-quality diesel fuel, gasoline and linear chemicals. Our cobalt catalyst was prepared Co/alumina, Co/silica and Co/titania by the incipient wetness impregnation of the nitrates of cobalt with supports. Co-based catalysts was calcined at $400^{\circ}C$ before being loaded into the FT reactors. After the reduction of catalyst has carried out under $450^{\circ}C$, FT reaction of the catalyst has carried out at GHSV of 4,000 under $200^{\circ}C$ and 20atm. From test results, the order of increasing activity for the catalyst was Co/alumina > Co/silica > Co/titania. When the content of Co metal such as 5, 12, 20 and 30wt% was changed, an CO conversion increased as the content of Co metal increased. The activity of catalyst has obtained the best value at 12wt% Co content.

The changes in the red cell volume and the plasma chloride level were measured when the blood $CO_2$ content was altered by equilibration with the atmospheric air or pure $CO_2$ for 20 minutes. The red cell volume was expressed in terms of hematocrit and mean corpuscular volume (M.C.V.). The results obtained were as follows. 1) On equilibration with the atmospheric air, the MCV and the plasma chloride level were $91.6{\pm}1.26\;c.{\mu}$ and $110.7{\pm}6.28mEq/L.$ respectively. 2) On equilibration with pure $CO_{2}$, the MCV and the plasma chloride level were $109.6{\pm}2.0\;c.{\mu}$ and $90.7{\pm}5.17\;mEq/L.$ respectively. 3) When the blood was subjected to equilibration with the atmospheric for air 20 minutes after equilibration with pure $CO_{2}$ for the same period of time the MCV and the plasma chloride level were $89.9{\pm}6.34\;c.{\mu}$ and $100.3{\pm}5.50\;mEq/L.$ respectively. From the above results it can be concluded that an increase of the blood $CO_2$ content in the experimental condition causes definitely a decrease of the plasma chloride level and a concomitant increase of the red cell volume, and that a decrease of the blood content $CO_2$ in the experimental condition causes definitely an increase of the plasma chloride level and a concomitant decrease of the red cell volme. Apparantly there exists a parallel relationship between the extent of the decrease of the plasma chloride level and that of the increase of the red cell volume when the blood $CO_2$ content increased in the experimental condition. When the blood $CO_2$ content decreased, the extent of the decrease of the red cell volume exceeds that of the increase of the plasma chloride level.
The purpose of this research is to analyze content elements of Housing area in 2013 middle school Technology Home Economics textbooks 1 and 2, total of 22 according to 2009 revised curriculum. The analysis method was content analysis, focusing on contents of main text, tables & figures, reading material, and activity materials by their content elements. This research will contribute in obtaining suggestion for the post curriculum/textbook development and helping teachers to perform a lesson. The results are as follows. First, Housing area included 1 to 4 content elements per each units, from 2 chapters and 6 units. The content elements stated in Home economics curriculum were total of 16 which consists of 'the meaning of housing,' 'housing types,' 'family forms,' 'family life style cycle,' 'life style,' 'neighboring environment,' 'co-living values,' 'air environment,' 'heat environment,' 'light environment,' 'acoustic environment,' 'space division,' 'circulation', 'effective use of space,' and 'sustainable dwelling practice.' All of these components are dealt with in every textbooks. Second, the numbers of content elements provided in each textbooks were the same, however they showed difference in their contextual aspect. Some contents need supplemental material for their lacking content element. Others need proper understanding of the concept because some showed different contents from the appropriate content elements. Third, repetitions in content elements were observed, the contents of 'co-living values' in textbook 1 and 'sustainable dwelling practice' in textbook 2 were similar in terms of eco-friendly housing, co-housing and universal housing. These two content elements should be merged as one next curriculum, or should be stated together in one subunit.

This paper deals with the machinability based on turning of WC-Co allows with the coated and the sintered diamond tools. The main conclusions obtained are as follows. (1) When machining WC-10%Co alloy, the flank wear of sintered diamond tool increases more largely with the increase of cutting speed in comparison with coated diamond tool. The tool wear decreases with the increase of the grain size and nose radius of sintered diamond tool. (2) When machining WC-20%Co alloy, the tool wear and cutting force decrease with the decrease of rake angle. Their exists a certain cutting speed range to exhibit the smallest tool wear in machining the WC-20%Co alloy, and this critical cutting speed becomes higher by 2 times in the case of coated diamond tool compared with sintered diamond tool. (3) The machinability becomes better with the increase of Co content. The effects of cutting speed and feed rate on the roughness of machined surface become smaller with the increase of Co content.

10 wt% (Ni-Co) catalysts with different Ni and Co content : 10%Ni, 9%Ni1%Co, 7%Ni3%Co, 5%Ni5%Co, 3%Ni7%Co, and 10%Co; were prepared using sol-gel method followed by incipient wetness impregnation method. To investigate the catalytic activity including the stability, dry methane reforming were demonstrated over the pelletized catalysts at $620^{\circ}C$ under atmospheric pressure in a $CH_4:CO_2:N_2$ feedstock for 360 min. The results showed that bimetallic catalysts with the Co content equal to or greater than 3% were more stable than monometallic catalysts (10%Ni and 10%Co). The temperature programmed hydrogenation interpreted that the additional of Co into Ni catalyst improved the carbon resistance from methane cracking. Promoted this type of bimetallic catalyst using 1wt% K (trimetallic catalyst) prevented the carbon formation on the catalyst. The temperature programmed desorption of $CO_2$ indicated that this trimetallic catalyst has a greater number of strong basic sites. Moreover, the appearance of K lowered the number of weak basic sites and decreased the conversion of methane by 12 %.
PTMSP/PMMH dendrimer composite membranes were made by dispersing $0{\sim}20$ wt% (based on polymer content) PMMH dendrimer nanoparticles in the PTMSP casting solution. The effect of PMMH dendrimer on gas permeability characteristics of the composite membranes was investigated. The permeabilities of $H_2,\;N_2,\;CO_2$, and $CH_4$ decreased as the PMMH dendrimer content within PTMSP increased. The permeabilities of different gases except hydrogen in PTMSP/PMMH dendrimer membranes follow the order: $N_2\;<\;CH_4\;<\;CO_2$ which are consistent with the order of critical temperature ($N_2\;<\;CH_4\;<\;CO_2$). The selectivities of gases for $N_2$ increased as the PMMH dendrimer content within PTMSP increased. The $CO_2/N_2$ selectivity increased from 5.6 up to 16.9.
A powder, containing 80 percent of blue cobalt aluminate $(CoAl_2O_4)$ crystallites, was synthesized at $210 ^{\circ}C$ using a (metal nitrate-malonic acid-ammonium hydroxide-ammonium nitrate) system. The optimal amount of concentrated ammonia water and initial decomposition temperature were determined for the blue $CoAl_2O_4$ crystallites preparation. Three $CoAl_2O_4$ precursor pastes, corresponding to the various amounts of concentrated ammonia water, were prepared by evaporating the initial solutions in an electric furnace fixed at $80 ^{\circ}C$ under a vacuum of 25 torr. The initial solution was used to dissolve the starting materials. The powder with the maximum content (80%) of blue $CoAl_2O_4$ crystallites was prepared when the prepared precursor was decomposed at $210 ^{\circ}C$. The blue $CoAl_2O_4$ crystallite content in the prepared sample decreased with increasing initial decomposition temperature. For 0.2 mole of the $Al^{3+}$ ion, the chemical compositions of the precursor corresponded to molar ratios of 0.4, 1.40, 2.56 and 2.00 for the $Co^{2+}$ ion, malonic acid, ammonia and ammonium nitrate per mole of the $Al^{3+}$ ion, respectively. The blue $CoAl_2O_4$ crystallite content in the sample decreased with the amount of ammonia deviated from the optimal value. The characteristics of the powders were examined using X-ray diffraction, optical microscopy, Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy and the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller technique.
