Pseudomonas putida B2가 접종된 Biofilter의 황화수소제거 효과 (Effect of Hydrogen Sulfide Removal by Biofilter Seeded with Pseudomonas putida B2)

  • 본 실험은 Pseudomonas p$mu$tida 82를 접종한 biofilter에서의 H2S 제거능올 알아 보았다. 담체로는 유기담체로 peat moss, 무기탐체로 perlite 그리고 활성탄(GAC)을 각각 부피비로 50:25:25로 혼합하여 사용하였고, P. putida B2가 접종된 실험구는 본 균주가 접종되지 않은 대조구와 비교해본 결과 30% 정도의 제거율 향상을 볼 수 있었고, 운전중 $H_2S$ 부하 변동에 대해 대조구보다 안정되고 높은 제거율을 나타낸다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 염계 부하량은 제거율 100%를 기준으로 할 때 살헝구의 경우 $14.83 g/m$3hr$인 것으로 나타났고, 대조 구의 경우 최대 $4.93 g/m$3hr$나타냐 약 3배 정도 질험구가 더 큰 부하량 처리능력을 나타내였다.- 본 질험결파로 탈취 균주로서 P. putida B2의 가능성을 타진해 본 결파 충불한 $H_2S$ 제거력을 발휘했으며, 아울러 활성탄을 점가하여 부하 변동에 대해 보다 안정적인 제거효과를 보여 현 탈취공정의 부하 변동에 대한 안정성과 순치 기간의 필요성율 극복할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • It is important to develop the smart ventilation system in order to minimize a building energy consumption using ventilation. In this study, We evaluated the efficiency of the smart ventilation system being developed at the nursery. To evaluate the energy savings and carbon dioxide removal efficiency, two kinds of experimental conditions were compared. First, air conditioner and Smart HVAC system were operated. Second, air conditioner was operating and external air was put into the inside by rate of air circulation. It was more effective when working with air conditioning and ventilation system at the same time. If the Smart HVAC system is applied in a multi-use facility, indoor air quality will be comfortable and the social cost will be reduced.

그물망 압착식 섬유여과장치를 이용한 물 재이용 시스템 개발 (Development of Water Reusing System by Using Net3FM (Net Fit Fiber Filter Module))

  • This study was carried out to develop pilot plant Net3FM(Net Fit Fiber Filter Module) system and to suggest optimum operating condition for municipal wastewater reuse. SS concentration of biologically treated sewage effluent was reduced from 1.5~5.4mg/L to 0.4~1.0mg/L without coagulant injection in Net3FM system, and the SS removal efficiency was average 84.7%. And also, the removal efficiencies of COD and T-P were decreased slightly due to the SS removal by filtration. Coagulation-Filtration test was conducted to enhance the removal efficiencies of SS and T-P. The optimum dosage of coagulant was injected automatically by auto-controlling system, which is controlled by detecting value of turbidity of secondary sewage effluent. SS, COD and T-P concentrations in filtrated effluent were 0.21~0.57, 1.6~6.2 and 0.137~0.392mg/L with coagulant injection by in-line mixer in Net3FM system, respectively. The removal efficiencies of SS and T-P were highly increased to 92.8% and 89.8%, respectively. It was due to the combined the processes of coagulation and filtration. Net3FM system was evaluated that the removal efficiency of pollutants in secondary sewage effluent and the utilization potential as reclaimed water technology were very high.

Microalgal Removal of $CO_2$from Flue Gases: Changes in Medium pH and Flue Gas Composition Do Not Appear to Affect the Photochemical Yield of Microalgal Cultures

  • Our research objectives are to determine under what conditions microalgal-based $CO_2$capture from flue gases is economically attractive. Specifically, our objective here was to select microalgae that are temperature, pH and flue gas tolerant. Microalgae were grown under five different temperatures, three different pH and five different flue gas mixtures besides 100% $CO_2$(gas concentrations that the cells were exposed to ranged 5.7-100% $CO_2$, 0-3504ppm SO$_2$, 0-328ppm NO, and 0-126ppm NO$_2$). Our results indicate that the microalgal strains tested exhibit a substantial ability to withstand a wide range of temperature (54 strains tested), pH (20 strains tested) and flue gas composition (24 strains tested) likely to be encountered in cultures used for carbon sequestration from smoke stack gases. Our results indicate that microalgal photosynthesis is a limited but viable strategy for $CO_2$capture from flue gases produced by stationary combustion sources.

순산소연소 조건에서 석회석의 소성특성 및 로내탈황에 관한 연구 (Study on Calcination Characteristics of Limestones for In-Furnace Desulfurization in Oxy-Fuel Combustion)

  • 순산소연소 배가스 중 $CO_2$ 농도는 가스의 재순환으로 인해 95%까지 농축 가능하며, $CO_2$ 농도가 높은 조건에서 석회석의 소성특성은 기존의 공기 연소와 다르게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 흡수제로 특성이 다른 세 종류의 국내산 석회석을 이용하여, 소성온도에 따른 석회석의 소성특성에 대해 알아보았다. 또한 흡수제 종류, 반응온도 등의 운전변수가 $SO_2$ 제거효율에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고, 반응생성물을 포집하여 황 함량을 측정하였다. 소성온도가 증가함에 따라 석회석의 소성율 및 비표면적은 증가하는 경향을 보였으며, 반응온도가 증가함에 따라 $SO_2$ 제거효율은 증가하였으며 석회석의 종류에 따라 $SO_2$ 제거효율이 뚜렷한 차이를 보였다. 최고효율 나타낸 석회석 시료에 대한 반응생성물 분석결과 시료 내 황 함량은 약 10% 정도인 것으로 나타났다.

  • 핵연료 운반용 실린더의 재사용을 위한 용기세척공장의 제염공정에 대한 성능을 평가하기 위하여 ${Na_2}{CO_3}\;+\;{H_2}{O_2}$ 혼합용액의 조합을 약간 달리한 2회의 시험을 실행하였다. 각 시험은 모두 일련의 5 단계에 걸쳐 실시되었다. 우라늄 제염의 주 화학종은 ${Na_4}{UO_2}(CO_3)_3$로 식별되었다. 그리고 첫 단계에서의 세척 액은 물이었으며, 이 단계에서 50% 이상의 우라늄이 제염되었다. 그 이후로는 단계가 더해 갈수록 우라늄의 제염양은 지수함수적으로 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 화학양론적으로 제거된 우라늄에 비하여 투여된 ${Na_2}{CO_3}$의 양은 과다함을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과들에 의하면, 공정최적화를 통하여 ${Na_2}{CO_3}$의 투여량 감축, 세척폐액의 감량, 제염단계 축소 등을 꾀할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

우엉발효추출물을 이용한 생활악취물질 제거효율 조사 (Removal Efficiency of odor substance Using Arctium Lappa Root extract)

  • Increasing public concerns over odors and air regulations necessitates the remediation of a wide range of odor substances for industrial and indoor purpose. Currently, the wet scrubbing technique by neutralization using oils is being used to treat odor substances such as Ammonia($NH_3$), Methyl Mercaptan($CH_3SH$), Hydrogen Sulfide($H_2S$), Methylamine($CH_3NH_2$), Acetaldehyde($CH_3CHO$). The chemical analysis is performed to analyze the composition of an Arctium Lappa Root extract by VOC analyzer(Phocheck 5000Ex, ION SCIENCE co.) The objectives of the this study are to clarify the possibility of the neutralization of odors sprayed in the fixed bed and determine the removal efficiencies for different input odor concentrations. It is found that Ammonia($NH_3$), Methyl Mercaptan($CH_3SH$), Hydrogen Sulfide($H_2S$), Methylamine($CH_3NH_2$), Acetaldehyde($CH_3CHO$) are significantly removed and their removal efficiencies are higher than 98%. The kitchen detergent with Arctium Lappa Root extract showed excellent removal efficiencies of odor substances and high possibility for the development of kitchen detergent with odor removal.

SAB 고율미생물반응기를 이용한 축산폐수처리의 성능 평가 (Estimation of Cattle Wastewater Treatment using Singang Advance Biology Reactor (SAB))

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the high rate biological reactor such as lab scale reactor before the application in site, and to get the basic data for possibility using liquid fertilizer with the effluent from biological reactor when the centrifugal machine was applied. The total volume of this reactor in 6 L, in composted of anoxic reactor (2 L), aerobic reactor (2 L), and nitification reactor (2 L). BOD removal efficiency rates when centrifugal machine was applied after effluent from biological reactor are over than 95%. This biological reactor was required post process to satisfy the effluent standards, and was need centrifugal machine to control the washout of microbes in the reactor. T-N removal efficiency rate in HRT 24 hr with centrifugation is 80.0%, and it is desirable to operate less than $1.3kgN/m^3{\cdot}d$ for 70% of T-N removal efficiency rate. T-P removal efficiency rate in HRT 24 hr is 68.2%, and become higher 71.3% after centrifugation. Considering in the 28.6% T-N removal efficiency rate, the nitrogen contents of the effluent from reactor is 0.34% to satisfy the liquid fertilizer.

응집공정을 이용한 하수처리수 중의 인 제거 Mechanism (Removal Mechanism of Phosphorus in Wastewater Effluent using Coagulation Process)

  • 염기도에 따라 제조된 PACl 응집제에 함유된 Al 가수분해종의 분석결과, 염기도 증가에 따라 단분자성 Al종이 감소하고 고분자성 Al종은 증가하였으며, 염기도 2.2에서 가장 많은 고분자성 Al종을 함유하고 있었다. 단분자성 또는 저분자성 Al 가수분해종을 주로 함유하고 있는 alum과 r=0인 PACl에서 인의 제거효율이 가장 높은 것으로 나타나, 효율적인 인의 제거를 위해서는 단분자성이나 저분자성 Al 종을 많이 함유한 응집제가 더 효과적이라고 판단된다.
