코디어라이트계 결정화 유리의 소결에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Sintering of the Cordierite Glass-ceramics)

  • In producing cordierite glass-ceramics by sintering, following experiments were conducted in order to determine the optimum heat-treatment schedule for high-crystallinity and dense sintered body. The glass composition of 11.67MgO-29.46Al2O3-52.88SiO2-5P2O5-1B2O3 (wt%) was selected on the basis of the early experiment. The 3-step heat treatment schedule was determined by the results of DTA, Dilatometric measurement and high-temperature XRD, where the particle-size-controlled glass powder was used. The degree of densification and the crystallinity were evaluated by the measurement of the bulk density and X-ray scattering intensity. The specimen fired with the optimum conditions showed ${\alpha}$-cordierite phase, relative density ∼98%, crystallinity ∼92%, thermal expansion coefficient ∼30${\times}$10-7/$^{\circ}C$, dielectric constant ∼5.5 and resistivity ∼1.0${\times}$1012 {{{{ OMEGA }}cm, respectively.

$Al_2O_3$ 세라믹 유전체 오존발생기의 방전면적 특성 (Discharge Area Characteristics of Ozonizer with $Al_2O_3$ Dielectric)

  • This paper is researched discharge and ozone generation characteristics of ozonizer using $Al_2O_3$ Ceramic dielectric. The discharge characteristics with variation of the discharge electrode area is studied. The characteristics of ozone concentration. ozone generation and ozone yield were measured to discharge power, discharge electrode area and supplied gas flux for oxygen and air. The solubility of ozone for water concentrations and ozone generations proportional to discharge power and discharge electrode area. Ozone yield has slowly increase with Increasing discharge power at high flow-rate. As the result, the maximum values of ozone characteristics ozone generation and ozone yield, can be obtained 5817[ppm] and 36[g/kWh]. We make enough the ozone concentration as the air in the home. An electric discharge electrode area is apt to shrink gradually into a miniaturization trend of the ozonizer but the enlargement of the occurrence flight of the electric discharge area gives the characteristic enhance the aid in the identity condition through the structure improvement.

  • Silicon oxide films were grown on single-crystal silicon substrates at low temperatures (25~205$^{\circ}C$) in a low pressure electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) oxygen plasma. The growth rate of the silicon oxide film increased as the temperature increased or the pressure decreased. Also, the thickness of the silicon oxide film increased at negative bias voltage, but not changed at positive bias voltage. The growth law of the silicon oxide film was approximated to the parabolic form. Capacitance-voltage (C-V) and current density-electric field (J-E) characteristics were studied using Al/SiO2/p-Si MOS structures. For a 10.2 nm thick silicon oxide film, the leakage current density at the electric field of 1 MVcm-1 was less than 1.0$\times$10-8Acm-2 and the breakdown field was higher than 10 MVcm-1. The flat band voltage of Al/SiO2/p-Si MOS capacitor was varied in the range of -2~-3 V and the effective dielectric constant was 3.85. These results indicate that high quality oxide films with properties that are similar to those of thermal oxide film can be fastly grown at low temperature using the ECR oxygen plasma.

  • In this study, high purity fine $BaTiO_3$ powders were prepared by SHS (Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis). We would examinate the study of sintering properties and characteristics as a function of temperature with various additives (binder, sintering agent). In separately binder addition, the green and sintered density of specimen were increased as binder content increases. The increased porosity resulted in fine grain size due to the inhibition of grain boundary moving. The $Al_{2}O_{3},\;TiO_{2}$ and MgO playa role of increasing dielectric constants at room temperature. These values were decreased at curie temperature. In case of $SiO_2$, the Curie temperature was decreased. In this study, a high dielectric ceramic capacitor material with temperature stability was synthesized by using various additives.

  • $La_{2/3}TiO_3$, $La_2Ti_2O_7$는 유전성을 갖는 특징으로 인해 여러 분야에 이용되고 있다. 본 연구는 perovskite 구조의 $La_{2/3}TiO_3$와 pyrochlore 구조의 $La_2Ti_2O_7$를 모체로 하여 $Al^{3+},\;Pr^{3+}$가 첨가된 형광체의 발광 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 두 구조 모두 $Pr^{3+}의\;^1D_2{\rightarrow}^3H_4$ 전이에 의한 적색 발광을 나타내었다. 본 연구에서는 perovskite 구조의 $La_{2/3}TiO_3$:Pr 형광체의 에너지 전이 과정과 그 임계거리에 대한 조를 통해 에너지 전달체로서의 $Al^{3+}$의 역할을 제시하였다. 또한, perovskite 구조의 $La_{2/3}TiO_3$와 pyrochlore 구조의 $La_2Ti_2O_7$ 사이의 발광특성 차이를 알아보기 위해서 trap-involved process와 charge transfer band를 조사하였다.

Steatite 자기의 전기적 특성에 미치는 알칼리 토금속 산화물의 영향 (Effects of Alkaline Earth Oxides on Electrical Characteristics of Steatite Porcelain)

  • The middle point of composition within the system $MgO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2$ has been studied for applicability as ceramics dielectrics. A Kyul Sung Tale of high purity, magnesia clinker of Sam-wha chemical company, C.P. aluminium oxide, calcium carbonate, red lead, barium carbonate which was made into frit were used the raw materials. A number of steatite ceramics were prepared under carefully controlled condition and the water absorption, linear shrinkage, power factor, dielectric constant and dielectric loss were measured at elevated temperature. When we used magnesia clinker as flux, the quantity of this flux was 0.05mole, sintering temperature was continued for 2 hrs. at 1, 27$0^{\circ}C$. From this conditions, we could get the data whose power factor was 0.142%, water absorption was zero, linear shrinkage was 8.76%, dielectric constant was 5.63, dielectric loss was 0.00799. When we used red lead as flux, the quantity of this flux was 0.033mole and 0.066mole, sintering temperature was continued for 2hrs. at 1, 26$0^{\circ}C$. From this conditions, we could get the data whose water absorption was zero, linear shrinkage was 8.03%, and 8.48%, power factor was 0.136% and 0.062%, dielectric loss was 0.0072 and 0.0037. When we used barium carbonate made into frit as flux, the quantity of this flux was 0.02mole, sintering temperature was continued for 2hrs. at 1, 27$0^{\circ}C$. From this conditions, we could get the data whose water absoption was zero, linear shrinkage was 8.44%, power factor was 0.138%, dielectric constant was 5.69, dielectric loss was 0.0074.

금운모계 결정화유리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Glass-Ceramics of the Eluorphlogopite System)

  • Glasses in K2O-Na2O-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2-F system were crystallized to prepare machinable glass-ceramics. The optimum nucleating and crystal growing temperatures were approximately $700^{\circ}C$ and 1060~112$0^{\circ}C$, respectively for the samples investigated. Crystalline phases of sellaite, norbergite, and fluorphlogopite appeared progressively as heat-treatment temperature was increased. Surface roughness of the crystallized specimens after the machining was similar to that of metal aluminum (2.18 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$). Thermal expansion coefficient, Vickers hardness and dielectric constants of the fluorphlogopite glass-ceramics prepared were 7.37~10.21 ($\times$10-6/$^{\circ}C$), 302~456kgf/$\textrm{mm}^2$ and 5.97~16 respectively.

결정화유리의 첨가에 의한 BNT계 세라믹스의 저온소결 및 마이크로파 유전특성 (Sintering and Dielectric Properties of BaO-Nd2O3-TiO2 Microwave Ceramics with Glass-Ceramics)

  • BaO-Nd$_2$O$_3$-TiO$_2$계 마이크로파 유전체 세라믹스에 결정화유리를 첨가하여 세라믹-결정화유리 복합체 유전재료를 제작하여, 적층 일체형 RF수동소자 모듈 구현을 위한 저온소결 유전재료로서의 응용가능성에 대해 검토하였다. BaO-Nd$_2$O$_3$-TiO$_2$계 유전체 세라믹스에 PbO-TiO$_2$-Al$_2$O$_3$-SiO$_2$ 조성의 결정화 유리를 5∼30 wt% 범위로 첨가하여 소결온도를 130$0^{\circ}C$에서 105$0^{\circ}C$까지 낮출 수 있었으며, 첨가량의 증가에 따라 유리의 연화로 인한 소결밀도의 증가 및 입성장이 뚜렷하게 관찰되었다. 특히, 결정화 유리를 20 wt% 이상 첨가하였을 경우, 105$0^{\circ}C$의 소결온도에서 95% 이상의 상대밀도를 갖는 양호한 소결체를 얻을 수 있었고, 이 때 유전을($\varepsilon$$_{r}$)은 72, 품질계수(Q-f)는 1500이었고, 공진주파수 온도계수($ au$$_{f}$)는 22ppm/$^{\circ}C$을 나타내었다. 이러한 높은 유전율은 유리속의 결정상 PbTiO$_3$의 존재에 기인한 것이다.

  • We report the development of a surface discharge preionized KrF discharge Laser with a new type of high-brightness Corona preionizer using a segmented columnar $BaTiO_3$ dielectric. This Laser characteristic was higher value than that obtained with the conventional corona preionizer using a glass, $Al_2O_3ceramic$, Kapton film, or a Teflon insulator.
