대학생의 치매 지식 및 태도가 치매노인에 대한 사회적 거리감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Knowledge and Attitudes towards Dementia on Social Distance from Senile Dementia among University Students)

  • Purpose: The study was conducted to investigate the effects of knowledge and attitude towards dementia on social distance from senile dementia among university students. Methods: The study was a descriptive study based on 235 university students. Data were collected from September 1 to 15, 2017 using a structured self-report questionnaire. Dementia knowledge, dementia attitude, and social distance from senile dementia were measured. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U-test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: After adjusting for the general and dementia-related characteristics of the participants, the significant predictors of social distance from senile dementia among university students were dementia attitude. Moreover, knowledge and attitude towards dementia explained 27.8% of the variance in social distance from senile dementia among university students. Conclusion: The results indicate that educators need to make efforts to improve dementia attitude and to develop plans to increase dementia knowledge in order to reduce university students' prejudice against senile dementia.

  • 정보통신기술과 의료기술의 발전으로 국민들의 삶의 질이 향상되면서 인터넷 환경에서의 의료서비스에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 이러한 인터넷 환경에서의 의료정보화는 환자의 개인정보를 침해할 수 있다. 우리나라의 상당수 의료기관은 인터넷 환경에서의 환자개인정보보호에 소극적이다. 의료정보의 유출을 방지하기 위한 법령과 표준안 및 체계적인 지침이 개발되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷 환경에서의 환자 개인정보 침해유형을 사례를 통해 살펴보고, 법제도적 측면 기술적 측면 관리적 측면에서 인터넷 환경에서의 환자 개인정보를 보호할 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다.

  • Precision progressive die have used for above ten thousand pieces of lot size production part. In the field of design and making tool for press working, the progressive die for sheet metal (SPC, thickness : 2mm) is a specific division. In order to prevent the defects, the optimum design of the U-bending production part, strip layout, die design, die making and tryout etc. are necessary. They require analysis of many kinds of important factors, i.e. theory and practice of metal pres working and its phenomena, die structure, machining condition for die making, die materials, heat treatment of die component, know-how and so on. In this study, we designed and constructed a progressive die of multi-stage and performed try out. Out of these processes the die development could be taken for advance. Especially the result of tryout and its analysis become the characteristics of this paper (part 1 and part 2) that nothing might be ever seen before such as this type of research method on all the processes. In the part 2 of this study we treated die making and tryout mostly.

119구급대원의 폭력경험과 탄력성이 소진에 미치는 영향 (Association of Violent Experience and Resilience with Burnout in Emergency Medical Technicians)

  • Purpose: This descriptive correlational study investigated the effects of violent experience and resilience on burnout in emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Methods: The participants were 160 EMTs working in fire stations (safety center and local center) located in U, B, and D city. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test post-hoc analysis, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0. Results: The number of EMTs getting into ambulances was significantly associated with violent experience, resilience, and burnout. Position of EMTs was significantly associated with both resilience and burnout. In the multiple regression analysis, the subscales of durability and optimism in resilience were significantly associated with burnout after controlling for confounding variables. Conclusion: This study indicated that improving durability and optimism in resilience was important to cope with experience of violence and to prevent burnout in EMTs.

Short-term and long-term treatment outcomes with Class III activator

  • Objective: The purpose of this retrospective study was to investigate short-term and long-term skeletodental outcomes of Class III activator treatment. Methods: A Class III activator treatment group (AG) comprised of 22 patients (9 boys, 13 girls) was compared with a Class III control group (CG) comprised of 17 patients (6 boys, 11 girls). The total treatment period was divided into three stages; the initial stage (T1), the post-activator treatment or post-mandibular growth peak stage (T2), and the long-term follow-up stage (T3). Cephalometric changes were evaluated statistically via the Mann-Whitney U-test and the Friedman test. Results: The AG exhibited significant increases in the SNA angle, ANB angle, Wits appraisal, A point-N perpendicular, Convexity of A point, and proclination of the maxillary incisors, from T1 to T2. In the long-term follow-up (T1-T3), the AG exhibited significantly greater increases in the ANB angle, Wits appraisal, and Convexity of A point than the CG. Conclusions: Favorable skeletal outcomes induced during the Class III activator treatment period were generally maintained until the long-term follow-up period of the post-mandibular growth peak stage.

수종(數種)의 목재부식성(木材腐蝕性) 담자균류(擔子菌類)의 포자생산성(胞子生産性)에 침수(侵水)가 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Water Logging on Spore Productivity of Selected Lignicolous Basidiomycetes)

  • 몇가지 목재부식성(木材腐蝕性) 담자균류(擔子菌類)의 포자(胞子)를 시간별로 수중(水中)에 담그는 방법(方法)을 사용하여 포자(布子)를 발아(發芽)시켜본 결과(結果) 한가지 균주에서 포자 발아가 억제 되었다. 침수시간(浸水時間)을 증가시킬수록 포자 발아가 증가(增加)된 균주는 5종(種)이었으며 포자발아가 전혀 일어나지 않는 균주는 1종(種)이었다. 이것은 포자(布子)의 원래 성질(性質) 및 항상성(恒常性)과 관계가 깊었다. 모든 시험균주는 침수(侵水) 직후(直後)가 최대(最大) 수분(水分) 흡수율(吸水率)을 나타내었으며 침수시간이 경과할수록 수분 흡수율은 저하하였다. 포자의 탈수속도(說水速度)를 비교한 결과, 2종(種)의 포자는 신속히 수분을 상실하였으나, 3(種)의 포자는 완만히 수분을 상실하였다. 즉 부피가 크고 단단한 포자보다 작으면서 섬세한 포자의 탈수속도(脫水速度)가 컸다.

Evaluation of Genetic Structure of Amaranth Accessions from the United States

  • Amaranths (Amaranthus sp.), an endemic American crop, are now grown widely across the world. This study used 14 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers to analyze the genetic diversity of 74 amaranth accessions from the United States, with eight accessions from Australia as controls. One hundred twenty-two alleles, averaging eight alleles per locus, were observed. The average major allele frequency, expected heterozygosity, and polymorphism information content (PIC) were 0.44, 0.69, and 0.65, respectively. The structure analysis based on genetic distance classified 77 accessions (94%) into three clusters, while five accessions (6%) were admixtures. Among the three clusters, Cluster 3 had the highest allele number and PIC values, while Cluster 2 had the lowest. The lowest FST was between Clusters 1 and 3, indicating that these two clusters have higher gene flow between them compared to the others. This finding was reasonable because Cluster 2 included most of the Australian accessions. These results indicated satisfactory genetic diversity among U.S. amaranths. These findings can be used to design effective breeding programs involving different plant characteristics.

Two Newly Recorded Estuarine Ciliates, Euplotes vannus and E. parawoodruffi (Ciliophora: Spirotrichea: Euplotida) from Korea

  • Two euplotid ciliates collected from the estuarine littorals in Korea were identified as Euplotes vannus ($M\ddot{u}ller$, 1786) and E. parawoodruffi Song and Bradbury, 1997. These species are reported taxonomically for the first time from Korea. These two species are redescribed with illustrations, photos and biometry based on live and silver impregnated specimens. Diagnostics of each species are as follows. E. vannus: size in vivo $94-111{\times}55-75{\mu}m$ (average $103{\times}60{\mu}m)$, adoral zone of membranelles (AZM) 70% of cell length with 57-74 adoral membranelles (AM) and terminating close to hook-shape, macronucleus (Ma) C-shaped with twisted foot-like, 10 frontoventral (FVC), 5 transverse (TC), 4-7 (average 5) caudal cirri (CC), 9-10 dorsal kineties (DK), mid dorsal kinety with 15-22 cilia; silver-line system single vannus type. E. parawoodruffi: size in vivo $125-163{\times}72-100{\mu}m$, (average $141{\times}87{\mu}m$), dorsally strongly arched, body shaped reserved triangular. AZM 67-83% of cell length with 60-85 AMs, 9 FVC, 5 TC, 4 CC, 9 DK; mid-dorsal kinety with 20-30 cilia, double-eurystomus type, T-shaped Ma with equal sized right and left arms or right arm shortened slightly.

전해도금에 의해 형성된 Sn-Ag-Cu 솔더범프와 Cu 계면에서의 열 시효의 영향 (Influence of Thermal Aging at the Interface Cu/sn-Ag-Cu Solder Bump Made by Electroplating)

  • In this paper, fabrication of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu solder bumping having accurate composition and behavior of intermetallic compounds(IMCs) growth at interface between Sn-Ag-Cu bumps and Cu substrate were studied. The ternary alloy of the Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu solder was made by two binary(Sn-Cu, Sn-Ag) electroplating on Cu pad. For the manufacturing of the micro-bumps, photo-lithography and reflow process were carried out. After reflow process, the micro-bumps were aged at $150^{\circ}C$ during 1 hr to 500 hrs to observe behavior of IMCs growth at interface. As a different of Cu contents(0.5 or 2wt%) at Sn-Cu layer, behavior of IMCs was estimated. The interface were observed by FE-SEM and TEM for estimating of their each IMCs volume ratio and crystallographic-structure, respectively. From the results, it was found that the thickness of $Cu_3Sn$ layer formed at Sn-2.0Cu was thinner than the thickness of that layer be formed Sn-0.5Cu. After aging treatment $Cu_3Sn$ was formed at Sn-0.5Cu layer far thinner.

A STUDY FOR DOSE DISTRIBUTION IN SPENT FUEL STORAGE POOL INDUCED BY NEUTRON AND GAMMA-RAY EMITTED IN SPENT FUELS

  • With the reactor operation conditions - 4.3 wt% $^{235}U$ initial enrichment, burn-up 55,000 MWd/MTU, average power 34 MW/MTU for three periods burned time for 539.2 days per period and cooling time for 100 hours after shut down, to set up the condition to determine the minimum height (depth) of spent fuel storage pool to shut off the radiation out of the spent fuel storage pool and to store spent fuels safely, the dose rate on the specific position directed to the surface of spent fuel storage pool induced by the neutron and gamma-ray from spent fuels are evaluated. The length of spent fuel is 381 cm, and as the result of evaluation on each position from the top of spent fuel to the surface of spent fuel storage pool, it is difficult for neutrons from spent fuels to pass through the water layer of maximum 219 cm (600 cm from the floor of spent fuel storage pool) and 419 cm (800 cm from the floor of spent fuel storage pool) for gamma-ray. Therefore, neutron and gamma-ray from spent fuels can pass through below 419 cm (800 cm from the floor) water layer directed to the surface of spent fuel storage pool.
