Aim & Scope
Journal of Sleep Medicine (Abbreviated title: J Sleep Med), which was founded in 2004, is a peer-reviewed scientific and medical journal covering the broad fields of sleep physiology and sleep disorders. The Journal is the official publication of the Korean Sleep Research Society which is published (April 30, August 31, and December 31) in either Korean or English. The primary audiences are clinicians and research professionals specializing in sleep-related disorders with a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, including neurology, internal medicine (particularly pulmonology and cardiology), otolaryngology, psychiatry, psychology, and dentistry. Subscribers have access to all new and archived issued online. All articles are available to the public free of charge. Journal of Sleep Medicine publishes scientific and state-of-the-art clinical articles aimed at reflecting the state of the art in the international science and practice of sleep medicine. The journal covers original articles of basic research and clinical findings, reviews, editorials, case reports, and images in sleep medicine from members of the Korean Sleep Research Society, and other societies providing a forum for sharing information, views, experiences, and educational materials in all sleep-related areas. The journal is simultaneously published in print and on the official website (https://www.e-jsm.org). It is indexed/tracked/covered by ScienceCentral, Google Scholar, and KoreaMed.
