Aim & Scope
The Journal of Hospice and Palliative Care (J Hosp Palliat Care, JHPC) is the official Journal of the Korean Society for Hospice and Palliative Care. The journal publishes articles on clinical and basic scientific studies pertaining to pathophysiology, epidemiology, palliative treatment and care, education, and policy which originate from hospice and palliative care. Each manuscript submitted to this quarterly journal is examined by multidisciplinary specialists before being considered for publication by the editorial board. Manuscripts include original articles, case reports, reviews, letters and brief communications. The journal is distributed to the members of the Society, medical schools and hospitals, nursing schools, libraries, and similarly relevant institutions. The journal seeks to promote a climate of active communication among the members of both the Society and the International Association for Hospice & Palliative Care. It also seeks to advance our hospice and palliative care knowledge in all respects. Our ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for those who are near death due to terminal illnesses as well as their families.
