Aim & Scope

The Ewha Medical Journal (Ewha Med J, http://emj.ewhamed.ac.kr), the official publication of Ewha Womans University School of Medicine and Ewha Medical Research Institute, is published quarterly a year, last day of January, April, July, and October. The first volume was published in March, 1978. It covers all fields of medical science including clinical research and basic medical science. The Journal aims to communicate new medical information between medical personnel and to help development of medicine and propagation of medical knowledges. All manuscripts should be creative, informative and helpful for diagnosis and treatment of the medical diseases and for communication of valuable information about all fields of medicine. Subscripted manuscripts should be written out according to the instructions for the Journal. Topics include original article, case report, images and solution, letter to the editor, invited review article and special issue in the respective field of medicine. The Ewha Medical Journal is indexed/tracked/covered by KoreaMed, KoMCI, KoreaMed Synapse, WPRIM, DOI/CrossRef, EMBASE, Google Scholar and ESCI.
